Mister Sparky Electric - Suffolk

The representative came on time. He did a complete review of my home's electrical needs. During his inspection he inadverently knocked out a socket. He fixed it before he left. I was satisfied with what I asked for: I got a review with pricing to guide me in the future which is all I wanted.

Joe arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. In addition to home check we purchased. Full house surge protector. All work was completed efficiently and neatly.

Joe, the electrician that preformed the service call was excellent. He took the time to thoroughly explain what work was being completed. He also discussed preventive work that was needed. He was extremely patient and helpful. I will suggest their services to all of my friends and relatives.

I used them around a year ago. It was the original fee, however they brought other things wrong in the house and we ended up spending a couple of thousands of dollars for the upgrade. They showed us that our electrical connections were a bit out of date, and because we have three young kids we invested in it. It wasn't a negative experience and in a way, I am more aware of this marketing technique. I was very pleased with Mr Sparky overall and I would like you to reflect that. They were very professional, and very responsive. I would give them an'A'.

I purchased a $39 Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They came and inspected. They gave me a list of things to be fixed, but I told them I would call them because I feel they were a little pricey. There were no negative parts -- they came on time, checked everything and, other than pricey, they were good.

PSEG ran a new line from the pole to the house and full power was restored by noon.

It worked out well. He was on time. He was very courteous and he completed the job.

He was very good. He was very clean, neat, and punctual. However, they were a little bit more on the expensive side.

Our old smoke alarm needed replacing and this was quickly and competently handled by Mr. Sparkey technician, Joe. He replaced the detector with a combined CO/smoke detector. Joe also conducted a basic home safety inspection and made some valuable recommendations for future use. We would definitely use this firm again - timely, professional and reasonably priced.

Eveything went well. I had them change some lighting fixtures and install a bathroom fan. The technicians were very professional.

That service was just fine. They trouble shot and fixed a dimmer on a dining room chandelier. They then replaced GFI outlet outside. They troubleshot a basement sump pump and electrical circuit. The quality was good, but the value of the services were reduced by the high prices. They then proposed on a few replacement light fan fixtures that had became too expensive in their estimate.

Joe & Ryan were very professional and thorough. They clearly and patiently explained and physically showed me all areas of their safety inspection and prioritized recommended corrective actions. Installed the new outlets at my request. The written safety inspection was very thorough. Their work was neat and they cleaned up thoroughly after all the work was completed. They arrived with their own red "Mister Sparky" welcome mat which they used to clean the bottoms of their shoes. Afterwards, they placed disposable "booties" over their shoes. (Nice touch!!!).

It was okay except that I still have the problems that I had. He thought it was a bulb, it was more than a bulb. He replaced the bulb and when we put the bulb back, what he said wasn’t the case. I think it was in the switches. The switch that he replaced in my dining room still lit but it wasn’t a complete thing that you put in to the wall with the switches. The switch replacement cost me $107 and I thought that was expensive. He did the work and I felt I had to pay him. I was disappointed with this service. The price was not fair. What they actually did that i paid them extra for was good but the other was not because he didn't do anything.

Wanted to have someone come out to fix an outlet, but I could not find any suggestions as to whom to use and I didn't want the landlord to be bothered so I called Mister Sparky. Very nice people but then my landlord wanted to use his electrician, so I wasn't able to use any other company.

Sparky's is service oriented, professional and does great work. Technician Ed was courteous, efficient, helpful and informative, did great work, all parts grounded inside the house and outside, deck and pool, installed over 10 EFT outlets and much more. At all times, working in and out of the house, he made sure to slip on protective shoe covers before stepping back inside. We are very happy with his work and would definitely use Sparky's in the future. |(By the way, love the sparkly red trucks, folders and all ID's..).

It went very well. Joe showed up on time, was professional and courteous and explained everything that needed to be done. The work was completed and he even reviewed other questions i had for work in the future to a**** cost and feasibility.

Inspected and installed new fire alarms in home. Very professional and friendly. Very punctual and cleaned up after work was completed. Also provided recommendations for future electrical work. Great team work!

The worker did a great job with the exception of the price charged by the company. I paid the initial $99 and then was chaged an additional $149 for the GFCI outlet then an additional $74 to install it. They charged for labor even though the Big Deal said it was included. The worker was amazing just the pricing was absurd and the charge for labor was unprofessional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine. I was able to get some work done but it was more expensive than I had anticipated. I thought I would be able to get more work done for the price. They were very prompt and the technician was great. He was very courteous and very clean. He put slippers on when he came into the house. He was excellent. He was very knowledgeable. The amount of work that I was able to get done for the cost of the deal was not what I had expected. I was surprised on the prices he quoted me but I'm not up on electrical work pricing. I would definitely use them again if I found that their prices were competitive.

Firstly while setting up the appointment the phone representative asked various questions to hone in on the problem at hand so that when the service tech makes the service call their truck is fully stocked with the necessary supplies to not only provide an estimate that day but to actually complete the job if you should accept the estimate provided to you on that day. The service tech Joe F. was very punctual. Joe was very professional, he was able to not only listen to my concerns regarding my electrical repair needs he was able to assess those needs and provide me with three written options to address the repairs at hand. The repair tech was neat and tidy while working and even rolled out a carpet and wore disposable booties throughout the service call to protect the interior of my home. I was very satisfied with the technician's skillfulness, courteous and positive work attitude as well as his concern to provide me with the best possible service for my repair needs. I am very pleased with the service and repairs I received from Mr. Sparky and have recently made another appointment to address another electrical issue within my home. As a new customer I recommend you try Mr. Sparky for your electrical needs and repairs.. further discounts available to customers through club membership for a reasonable annual fee as well as through business card referrals.

Ed arrived on time was very professional. He took less then an hour and explained everything. I would recommend their service again and use them again. Also I noticed he had covers over his feet and put a matt in the front door. That i really liked since I have hardwood floors.

Rapid response. Provided clean and neat working conditions. When I commented that this was the second time I had to repair the same cable in two weeks and wished there was some way to prevent it from happening again, he suggested we enclosed the new cable in metal conduit for an extra cost. I agreed and so far it has worked.

From start to finish it went fantastic - he answered every question, fixed the problem, was clean and neat and very professional. Joe was beyond patient and answered every single question.
