About us

We are a full service construction company that operates year - round. There is no job too small or too large for our team of quality craftsmen. We give free estimates and do all project work by contract. All service and maintenance work is invoiced, so you'll always have an explanation of the work that was performed. Warrantees vary from 1 year labor to 40 year manufacturer, depending upon the work being done and you can rest assured that the job will be done on time, on budget in most cases. We only use sub - contractors where job specific licensing like plumbing is required.

Description of Work: While there were two (2) other A ratings provided for this elecrical contractor. My limitied experience was not that good. I attempted to contact this business three time with no response. In fact on the first attempt someone at the business picked up the phone, but would not answer (they might have thought I was a bill collector? Who knows...). Seems like a strange way of managing customer-facing activiities. I'm thinking that if they can't answer a phone, perhaps they'd have difficulties performing other aspects of the job.

Let me assure you that if you had left a message when know one answered, I would have reutrned your call within 24Hrs as this is our company policy on missed calls. This time of the year I am out of my office and sometimes out of cell phone range 7 days a week while working on projects and giving estimates for new work, so catching me on the phone is rare during normal business hours. However, I do check my email daily and I have had two other Angie's List subscribers contact me using Angie's List email. Unfortunately, you took the time to shoot my company down without ever giving us a chance (or leaving a message) as a bad rating on Angie's List and realistically, that same amount of time could have been used to email me as other Angie's List members have chosen to do in which they received an immediate response and work that is second to none at a fraction of the cost of most of our competitors. Maple City Contracting Company has been serving the southern tier for over 10 years with a cliental of 200+ totally satified, returning customers who get the best bang for their buck in the area and who obviously rave on Angie's List about their positive experience with us. I'm sorry your experience was negative.
