Description of Work: Installed screening over openings in my 3 bathroom fan vents in my roof. We had been getting bees in them, and he came and put screening over, while creating a frame of metal around it to secure in place, looks clean and in the last few months, no bees or stink bugs have gotten in!

 + 1 moreI got A PLUS HANDYMAN's number from Angie's List. I called on Thursday, 02-03-2011 for an estimate. I had previously obtained another estimate from another contractor on Angie's List. A PLUS HANDYMAN is located in the same town as me so I was leaning toward using him. I received no return call from A PLUS HANDYMAN. Very unprofessional. Perhaps in this tenuous economy, he doesn't need the work or the money. Good for him. I won't call again. I can't recommend him to anyone.

 + -1 moreA quote was provided via email in a timely manner. The work was completed in one afternoon. The job required working at the roof line of a 2.5 story home. The contractor and I were able to find a mutually convenient time to perform the job. All carpentry tools and materials were on hand at the time the work was done. I supplied the paint and primer. The scaffolding used belonged to a masonry contractor who was pointing up my chimney at the same time. The replacement facia board matches the original architectural detail of my 1917 home. There are no seams or discontinuities visible from street level. I was very satisfied with the work done.
Description of Work: The facia board along the eaves of my roof was removed, replaced and painted where it had been damaged by animals and water.
