The Carpet Cleaning Guy

Two service people arrived at the scheduled time and did an extremely thorough job. They did their work efficiently and were therefore done in a very reasonable time.

They were on time perfectly. He steam-cleaned until the 40 yr old grout came clean - He did it until it come out right. They did the job & did it well. The price seemed a little high but I didn't get any other estimates & the work he did was worth it.

The crew was great. Scheduling was very flexible, they were on time and did a real nice job for a fair price. Will definitely use their services again.

I called and spoke to the owner, got an estimate on the phone to have my kitchen and sunroom tiles cleaned and sealed and possibly the carpet on my main floor stairs. I set up appointment for later that week. Two workers arrived on schedule, were polite an professional. When I saw how well the floors were coming out I asked them if they could do the tiles on the bathroom walls. I asked if they could look at my basement for possible mold under the rug, which they did. I then had them clean that rug as well. Everything was done in a couple of hours, it all looked great. Shortly after they left, the owner dropped off a gallon of cleaner for me. I would definitely use The Carpet Cleaning Guy again.

The young man who did the cleaning was efficient and knowledgeable. Originally I thought the carpet cleaning may be a waste of money but it turned out much better than I expected. The white of the carpet which had become discolored from the traffic areas,was looking better than ever and the areas where the furniture had been, had most of the discoloration removed. I was very pleased with the job and am happy that I had them do it.

They were prompt, courteous, professional and thorough. There were absolutely no headaches in dealing with this company, and they did good work. The only thing I felt a little funny about was that after the carpet was cleaned there was a residue that we needed to vacuum up, which I think is standard. I rewashed one of the carpets right after they left with my own wet vac to see what came up and it was definitely clear of dirt, but this milky fluid filled my machine, so I guess that would have been what they asked us to vacuum. I just wish there was NO residue. Maybe I'll ask next time for some other type of cleaner to be used.

This is a good cleaning company however, they need a course in customer service! Horrible customer service, very impersonable. I felt as if I was bothering him to do the job. The young man barely spoke and gave me an overall uncomfortable feeling. His attitude was enough to take my money and recommendations elsewhere. If this gentleman is the owner, he should take a short course in customer service. I must say he was pleasent on the phone but the minute he arrived at my home he was a completely different person with minimal communication. If I did not mention moving a double chair it would have been left, I was willing to move it myself. Giving customers courtesy and communitcation and asking if they would like to move the chair to maintain consistency in your clean carpet when you return your furniture would have been the appropriate thing to do. Like I said, he acted like he didnt want to be there!

I was very pleased with the service. I have three toddler grandchildren who are forever dropping food and drink on the floor. The carpeting was in dire need of cleaning. The Carpet Cleaning Guy did an excellent job and--without exaggeration--the carpets look brand new. The service was prompt, courteous and very efficient. I will definitely call on them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Ken arrived on time in a well kept truck marked with his phone number and all his services. He wore a neat, clean uniform shirt displaying the name of his company and introduced himself. Ken was courteous and professional. He put a dropcloth on our floor so as not to mar the porcelain tiles with his equipment which we thought was considerate. He methodically cleaned all the carpeting thoroughly and cleaned up afterwards. He wore booties over his shoes and even gave us pairs to wear on our feet plus a bottle of professional spot cleaner which we thought was nice of him.

He did a great job of getting both carpets clean and looking fantastic. In addition, we had Ken clean the upholstered arms of a chair that were quite dirty and he did an outstanding job cleaning upholstery! I found this company on Angie's List and had not used the listing service previously. We are very please with the work done!

They were fine and did the job quickly. They cleaned the carpet well and did a great job. They were not the cheapest, but the job was worth the money. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They were very far. They had a lot of experience. I like the way they conducted the service. They had a big beefy truck with a big motor on it, which was able to clean things that they were really dark. They didn't clean everything 100%, but they got it certainly in high 90's. The carpets are 15 years old, so it was good. The price was quite reasonable. They were certainly competitive with other people.

They were highly recommended on Angie's List and so, I went with them. They were good. They were great in terms of their punctuality. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The Carpet Cleaning Guy came to clean my carpets a few months ago.

He was outstanding!!! The experience was exactly as advertised. It was like being a posterboard for Angie's List.

They were good. They are available right away. They did a good job on the carpet. They also removed some spots for me on another carpet. They are very pleasant and professional. I rate them high overall.

My husband was absolutely thrilled with them. They were wonderful and did an excellent job. They were prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable, neat and punctual. They came with a lot of experience. I hadn’t cleaned my carpets for years, and they got even those spots out that I thought they would never get out. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Second time using this company for carpet cleaning - professional, timely, good results - will use again

I called a few days before Thanksgiving thinking I might be out of luck, but they were able to get me into their schedule and did a wonderful job! I have a sweet, old dog with VERY coarse fur and my sofa(her bed) is spotless now! The house smells great, the guys were polite, friendly and did a great job. Very neat in appearance as well as the task at hand, no puddles or messes left from their machines for me to clean up. Quite satisfied and will be calling them again. Added 9/2011 Have had them back twice since and happy every time, wonderful guys and great work!

I just bought a house and called Ken on a Friday and he was able to clean the carpets the next day. Ken arrived on time and we walked through the house. The previous owners left behind a sofa and two chairs and I was not sure if I would keep them and they had a few stains on them. Ken examined the furniture and we decided it would be worth it. The furniture came out great. All the carpets came out great and he spent a lot time explaining what was done and informed me about the carpets themselves. He also provided me with some stain remover and explained how to use it. Overall a great experience.

I got their name from Angie's list. When I called Ken he was very responsive. He mentioned the three or four services packages they had and suggested that most people used the second highest priced--not the first (which included an additional charge for moving the furniture). Because of my needs, I went with the highest priced. I told him about the dark discoloration around the edges of one carpet and he explained why this would probably not come out in its entirety. At least my expectations were set. My husband was actually home when they came. He tells me that they came on time and were very professional in their manner and approach. When he said that we might want to replace the carpets, the cleaning guys evaluated each carpet for him and suggested that they were in great shape and would last a long time. That was great news for us! When I got home, the carpets were dry, as promised, and looked really fresh. To be sure, they left us paper booties for walking on the carpets during the first evening. A big difference from the last carpet cleaning company that we used. I noticed that they also left us a bottle of spot remover in case we needed to do some emergency cleaning. Again, a big difference from the other carpet cleaning company we used which actually charged us for the spot remover.

They were prompt and very easy to have in the house. The guys did a wonderful job on the carpets and even chased after my dog when he got out. I would call them again and recommend them to anyone.
