Did a great job - price was spot on!

The guys were super fast and came exactly when they said they would. They managed a difficult cable run to wire our smart thermostat. They had the duct rerouted in no time and even stayed to show us how to use the new thermostat. Would certainly hire again.

I bought my air conditioning from them, I use them twice a year, the warranty is good for 10 years.

The serviceman found a small split in the piping and that was replaced promptly. He was very knowledgeable about the A/C unit we have.

Very professional service. The guy came to check and when he realized he didn't have the part, he made a quick phone call and went right away to get the missing part, and fixed the unit. Definitely hire again!

Mick from Design Air, Inc. arrived on time, uniform and shoe covers on, and did excellent work. The units are cranking out cool air now. He explained everything he did, and also reviewed all of the features on the remote controls, which was very helpful since the former owners did not leave me a manual. Knowledgeable and top notch. Seemed a tad pricier than other maintenance deals on this website, but this guy is the quality professional you are looking for to do things the right way.

The project, from start to finish went well. The representative that came to the house to inspect and size was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. There was no pressure at all. Design Air put in the original Lennox system that lasted 23 years and they put the new one in now. The pricing was reasonable at the going rate. (I didn't enter it below because each job is specific to the house.) Lennox systems served us well for 23 years and I expect the same out of this one. The installation crew was efficient and polite, and kept us informed as the day went on. The representative stopped by to check on the installation twice. This was a great experience from start to finish. And the house is cool.

They came out early in the morning as requested. It was not a huge repair bill either. They spoke to us the night before to try and start it up. It was about $200 but I could be wrong. I thought the price was very reasonable. I didn't compare it so... They fixed the problem and it hasn't given us a problem since. We're very satisfied with them. We also bought central air from them and a boiler too. I'm very satisfied. They came when I really needed the work done. They were very responsive.

I've used them for like 20 years. He used to clean the air ducts but he doesn't do that anymore. The price is probably about average. My only complaint is they don't clean the air ducts anymore. I've been using them for many years so I wouldn't stop. But now I will have to find somebody to clean the ducts.

Terrible. They charged me $99 for a service call and then $211 for a capacitor. I later found out that a capacitor costs about $25 retail. Then they told hat my unit had to be recharged. I was told that the unit needed 3 pounds of R-22 freon. My bill for this servce bill came to $669. Air Design advised me to have my other air conditioning zones "serviced." I agreed. They came the following week and charged me $549.23 to have my other units serviced. After they left, the air conditioning in my master bedroom and area never worked again. I called them up and they told me that the compressor had blown and that I would have to replace the entire system - condenser and air handler . I was also told that the unit they had recharged and serviced for $669 had a very bad freon leak and would have to be replaced. They gave me an estimate for the work needed to be done for almost $20,000. I find it very suspicious that my air conditioning broke after their service call. In fact, it worked perfectly the morning they arrived and then never again. How likely is that? Did they take responsibiltiy? They credited me with $150 for the service call and left me with a broken condensor - that was the extent of the responsibility they took. As to the unit they said had a terrible freon leak - it is probably not true. 3 months have gone by now and I have had the unit checked by another company. It is working perfectly and is fully charged with freon. I now doubt that they every even added freon to the system. I believe that Air Design are crooks. Save yourself a lot of trouble and money. Use a reputable company.

These guys are absolute professionals. From the initial sales consultation with Bart to the installation with Mick and Jim, I was treated fairly and with respect. Everyone was punctual, precise and treated my home as if it were their own. My new Central A/C is nice and chilly. My pet peeve is when contractors leave a mess after their work. These guys took the time to wipe their shoes, lay drop cloths and sweep up after the job was complete. I will definitely hire them for a new heating system when the time comes. Mick, thanks for your efficient work in such hot temperatures!

It didn't go. I didn't hire the firm. Interesingly, I had planned to do so--I know several people who have used Design Air happily. But I certainly had lost my trust in the company.

They were great, Aaron put in my compressor and my thermostat and also a furnace. They did an amazing job for me.

Very personable and they were very thorough. They opened every single switch in my house and checked for loose wires. They were terrific. They came on time. The guy could not have been nicer.

My wife and I came home from vacation to a hot house. Our central air conditioner was obviously malfunctioning. We were miserable! I called Design Air because of their high rating on Angie's List. I spoke to Frank, who was very courteous and professional. He scheduled an appointment for tomorrow night. To the delight of my wife and I, Frank called back a short time later to let us know that he could send someone over tonight. Louis Christophides arrived within the hour. He was courteous, professional, friendly and thorough. He quickly found the immediate issue - a blown capacitor. After explaining the problem to me and completing the service, Lou explained that the air condenser coil needed cleaning and also possibly the refrigerant may need to be recharged. He explained the importance of keeping the condenser clean, told me to call for a follow-up appointment and discussed the importance of a maintenance plan for my heating and air conditioning systems. My experience with Lou and Frank of Design Air was extremely positive. Thanks to Lou and Frank for saving us from the oppressive heat!

The technician was prompt and courteous. He was very easy to talk with and he quickly diagnosed the issue. He gave several options and determined the low cost was the way to go this time.

I have used Design Air for multiple purposes. They have installed air conditioning systems in my home, a whole house generator, and have serviced my two a/c systems for years. They are reliable, professional and fair.

I called to schedule an appointment for a tune-up. The person I spoke to, Larry, also discussed air purifiers with me. Although the price he quoted for a tune up was much higher than other companies, he convinced me their service was worth it. I called him back the next day to schedule, and left a message. A week later, I called again...he picked up, had no recollection of who I was, and didn't remember our conversation or my message. He transferred me to Service, where they told me it would be a full month before they could fit me into the schedule. Everything was promised to me very quickly and professionally when I wanted the $2000 air purifier installation. As soon as I decided to go with only the $149 seasonal tune-up, suddenly no calls back and no room for a month.

From purchase to final install date was less than a month. They took care of everything - gas lines, electric service, cement pad. We have used them for 2 air conditioning systems for years and have always been satisfied with their service. Their trucks say, "We won't leave your house until you're satisfied," and they mean it.

They are very good. Their prices are fair. They are very prompt. If I have a problem, I call them and they try to come the same day. I've used them for years. I use them twice a year to service the air conditioning and the heat. They have done a good job.

These guys were true professionals from the beginning! It started with the initial meeting on an energy audit of our home and Design Air had some recommendations to save energy by ways of air sealing. We also had some duct issues where certain rooms were colder/hotter than others and they had a solution for that as well. On the scheduled day of work, Design Air sent enough crew to tackle both projects on the same day, which was great as it did not require me to take another day off, and they did the job with perfection. They worked on my house all day from top to bottom to ensure they could seal as much air leaks as possible. The ductworks were done seamlessly as well and I can already feel our home being more comfortable with the duct work and air sealing. Design Air were recommended to me by a friend and I would not hesitate to pay it forward as a recommendation to family and friends.

Two years ago, we called design air to give us a second opinion on our old central air system and units. They were very professional with their inspection and recommendations. We selected Design Air Inc. since they were not speaking to us like sales people. They gave us different options that were energy efficient and within our budget. Since we installed the new system, Design Air has been doing the annual inspection. They have always been very responsive, punctual and professional. Last year, one of the parts of the system was damaged by lighting. Design Air replaced the part at no cost and followed up with us later to make sure that the system was working as expected.
