Description of Work: Chris is fantastic. We've been using CJs for years. They've always been extremely polite, supportive and honest. We even started using them at our restaurant. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: I first called in mid April to schedule a cleaning for a ductless air conditioner that had not been cleaned for about 2 1/2 years. They sent out a technician in mid to late may who charged $69 just to look at the unit. He reset an error code and told us the unit needed cleaning. The earliest cleaning date was July 3. I was angry, I knew in April we needed cleaning and thought the mid may appointment would be that. They later realized July 3 was a holiday and switched the appointment to July 2. They came and did the cleaning at a fair price, finding a mouse nest in the outside unit. Wish they could have done the cleaning at the first visit.

Description of Work: They replaced our old, broken down boiler with a more efficient boiler and also brought in a water tank.

Description of Work: Fixed our heating. They were quick and responsive which was appreciated given the weather.

Description of Work: We received quotes only after doing a full house (built 1975) review for the installation of central air conditioning. He took no shortcuts, was very thorough, courteous, friendly, no-pressure approach. I was impressed with each step. We have told him we will push off the expense until Mar 2015. I fully expect, based upon our initial work, that we will contract with him next spring.

Description of Work: I used Chris for several years and even posted favorable reviews on AL. Called him when my heat was not working - my mother is 86 y.o. and it was cold out - he did not want to come out and as such said he did not consider it an emergency and I would have to wait for the morning. He never showed and just stopped returning calls. He is unprofessional and I would not suggest using him.

Description of Work: Chris has done a great amount of work on our home! We have slowly been renovating and he has been intregal to our affording it all. He is the ONLY HVAC professional we trust completely and whose work we never worry about!

Description of Work: Sheldon arrived exactly on time, was very pleasant and competent. He answered any questions as he cleaned and tuned both my oil fired boiler and hot water heater. He left both the equipment and floors spotless. I heartily endorse CJ Heating and I will definitely be calling them again for any plumbing or cleaning needs in the future.

Description of Work: Chris returned the message I left on his machine the same day, arranged a prompt appointment, called when he was on his way, arrived when he said he would, spent all the time needed to clean and service the units, was very professional, reviewed his findings with me, and his fee was incredibly reasonable. I could not be happier and will not only use him in the future, but will recommend him to friends.Highest rating!

Description of Work: I needed a pre-winter service on a gas boiler, hydro-air forced hot air system. Chris did the service, changed filters on my 3-zone system, and adjusted dampers to improve air flow improving a balancing problem I have had for years. I could feel the improvement in air flow immediately. I asked for his advice on possible energy saving improvements in my system, which he offered as well, but will require more time and of course consideration of the cost/benefit.

Description of Work: I did not have hot water Friday night with company coming to spend the weekend. i searched Angies list and CJ Heating returned my call and left messages since I went out to the movies in the afternoon. I was going to use another company and they were suppose to get back to me around 6PM but I didn't hear from them. I tried several other companies. The first company wanted to come but he was about an hour away and said he didn't know when he would be finished. CJ Heating called me back and he was about 45 minutes away but offered the option of coming Sunday morning at my convenience. He demonsgtrated concern and asked me if I could wait. The temperature wasn't really cold. Because my conversation with him was performed in a very professional way and with a sense of humor (our conversation was to inform him of my problem and previous services to my water heater). Anyway I chose him and he turned out to be right on time and reasonable. I found his communication skills to be excellant which I find a difficult quality to find. He worked fast and professionaly. It turned out that a part needed to be replaced which he had in his truck.

Description of Work: trouble shoot a "new" oil burner which would not fire and then do a tune up.
