Description of Work: Clueless on AC repair. Only started to doing AC's a year ago to go along with heating/oil service and inexperience and lack of knowledge shows. Very disappointed and highly recommend not using for AC jobs.

Description of Work: We have been using Tragar since 2013 and we are very satisfied customers. They have installed a new boiler system for us, new air conditioning and ductless units and re-configured our zones/ duct work. They also deliver our heating oil and give us a very competitive price. They are reliable and pleasant to work with. Their service is great and the response time is even better. I always feel secure knowing I can call them at anytime and someone will show up! We also really enjoy working with them because of the personalized service. Unlike a lot of major companies, you don't get lost in the shuffle.

Description of Work: New boiler

Description of Work: Estimate on central air. I had to follow-up for quote. Called to ask questions about quote and was told someone would get back to me and no one did.

Description of Work: Tragar installed 2 outdoor Fujitsu Ductless AC condensers and 6 separate indoor zoned wall mounted units. I had 7 Different estimates and Tragar was the most competitive since their estimate included the units, the labor, the electrical work as well as the outdoor conduits that hold the outdoor wiring and copper piping. No hidden cost. The job was completed at the original estimated price with 12 months of interest free payments. The crew was prompt, efficient and it became quite obvious that they knew what they were doing. This is an older house and not too easy to work in but they overcame any problems to my satisfaction during the install. |The job was completed in 1 and 1/2 days. They did outstanding work and a few neighbors commented on how professional the outdoor conduit on the outside looks. As far as the actual AC operation, we have only had a chance to use the system a few times since it was just installed a few weeks ago. But all works fine so far and the indoor wall units as well as the outdoor condensers are super quiet. The remotes are easy to use and quite versatile as well. Our salseman Ken Durand was also very professional and provided all the info.and a job reference that made it even easier to go with Tragar. No high pressure or incomplete estimates like a few of the others that I met with. One ridiculous estimate was almost double the Tragar estimate without the electrical work for the same work. So take care when looking to install Ductless AC since there are a few sharks out there. I learned a bit from each estimate and my on line research. And it would be in your best interest to include Tragar as one of the estimates.
