Everything went great.

Technician Marc was on time, knowledgeable and very professional. I have asked for an estimate to complete a larger job at my home and will use this contractor in the future.

Called at 9am came at 2pm as promised. Think same daya service is tough to get. Workers were pleasant and performed services needed with no problems. Would reccommend.

I had called and made an appointment for October 30, but then the blackout happened, and we didn't get our power back for 2 weeks. So I called to reschedule on November 13 and left a message. No one got back to me. So I called again on November 26 and got an appointment for December 6. They came over and replaced an outdoor outlet, and a lighting fixture, and were to replace an existing thermostat. They told me I had purchased the wrong thermostat, and to call back when I got the right one. With all the holidays, I didn't call back until January 2. They gave me an appointment for between 1pm and 4pm on January 7. By 4 o'clock, they hadn't come, so I called, and the person assured me they'd be here by 4:30pm. When they hadn't arrived by 4:45, I asked if we could just reschedule or have them come first thing in the morning. She said they were fully booked for the next day and the next appointment we could agree upon was the next week. She told me they were 10 minutes away, so I said fine. When the electrician came at 5pm, he asked why he couldn't have put it off until the next morning and I replied that's what I said, and told him about the conversation. His office had told him I was waiting and expected him today. There was nothing written on my ticket that they had been here before for the same job, so I got charged a service charge. I did ask them to change a light switch while they were here, since I had to pay anyway but it was wrong too, so theoretically they'd have to come back, but I'd rather try it myself than getting charged another service fee.

They were wonderful. The service man was friendly, courteous, and knowledgable for his work.

He was excellent. He’s coming back next week to upgrade my electrical box and do some other electrical work. The original cost for replacing the circuit breaker was $150 but he gave me discount because of Angie’s List. For the next job he’s giving me a senior citizen discount. I highly recommend him. He’s very neat and he’s easy to talk to. He explains and shows everything in detail. I absolutely will use him again.

They were fantastic. I did hire them a few years ago also to update our electric to 150 amps, and they were great then too! I would highly recommend them!!!

I was absolutely fully impressed and satisfied with the work that Popkin Electric. Andrew Popkin promptly responded to my request for a quote. The walk throughout my house with him to discuss the work was very pleasant and helpful. He listened to what I wanted to do and provided suggestions for what may work better. His quote was thoroughly detailed and itemized, which made it easy for me to remove and add items to the scope of work. Andrew's workers were very courteous and prompt. The work required two days in the home, and my wife was very satisfied with them. They kept everything clean, worked quickly and were polite. When finished, everything worked perfectly. The work looked great and there was no indication left behind that the work had recently been done other than the fact that everything was brand new. I will need to do more electric work in the future and will definitely use Popkin Electric again. I absolutely recommend them.

THE APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR AFTER 4PM. TWO EMPLOYEES ARRIVED AT 7:40PM. THEY HAD COMPLICATIONS AT THE PREVIOUS JOB AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE DELAY. THEY WEREN'T FAMILIAR WITH THE MODEL FAN SO THEY STUMBLED THROUGH THE INSTILLATION WHICH TOOK 1HR AND 10MIN. IN THE END THE FAN DIDN'T SIT FLUSH WITH THE CEILING SO I HAD TO CAULK AND SPACKLE TO FILL THE GAP. THE TWO EMPLOYEES WERE VERY POLITE AND DID THEIR BEST HOWEVER AT THESE PRICES I SHOULDN'T BE THE ONE TO FINISH THE JOB.

I have used popkin many times in the past. i needed a fan installed and a attic fan. got a quote for both and accepted there offer. i called back and said that i only wanted them to put in the fan, i got a better offer for the attic fan. he said ok and set up a appointment. well them never showed up. no phone call nothing . i called a couple days later and they said that they were mad that i got someone to do the attic, and they did not want my business any more.

They were very good. Only once were they late and that was only because it was the first time they came to my house and they got lost. I think they do great work for a great price.

They came on time and solved a complicated electrical problem. It was actually a good experience.

We wanted to have everything done during my husbands vacation. Andrew the owner was very positive about this & scheduled us within 4 days time. The morning they were scheduled to begin it was raining, Andrew called us early to say they couldn't work in the rain, but not to worry as he'd send multiple crews out the next day to get it done. They arrived at 8am raring to go. At 1 point 6 electricians were buzzing about the place. 1st thing they did when they arrived was throw down huge cloths to protect the floor (impressive!) they even wiped their feet! In the confusion with 3 crews they'd forgotten to bring the dryer vent, but never fear as they called for someone to bring it & he showed up on a motorcycle with it 15 minutes later. Every one of them worked at their assigned job from start to finish. No goof offs, no gabbing in non-English. They were friendly, asked us exactly where we wanted the washer, dryer & outside light. We asked for a typed receipt-it came by mail in 2 days time.

When I initially called I let them know of the type of roof I had and the pitch and that there is only access from the outside. After several reschedules they finally sent out one person to fix the fan and after being out there a while (never on the roof) he called his boss and said that it was against their policy if they cannot access the work from the inside, which they knew was not possible from the beginning. So I had him just fix the doorbells and leave.

POPKIN DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THERE HAVE NOT BEEN ANY PROBLEMS SINCE THEY DID THE WORK. I HAVE ALL THE ELECTRICITY THAT I WILL EVER NEED. I AM PLEASED WITH THE JOB THEY DID.

MR. ELECTRIC DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THE ELECTRICIAN WAS PUNCTUAL, FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.
