Bug Man Pest Elimination is great. They are true to their word and gives you a guarantee that if the pest comes back within 1 year they will come back and get rid of it for free. He is so good and very informative.

They did do a good job. They seemed just very professional and seemed to be honest with me. They took care of the problem well the first time. I thought the cost was fair. I was really appreciative of their service, and I have not had to use one again. I certainly would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Angel arrived at our place of business on time and ready to work. We have had an ongoing problem with bees and wasps for years in our after school program room. After the building was sprayed the problem has been taken care of. I couldn't believe that one trip would solve our ongoing problem. The children can now play outdoors and in their room without fear of being stung. We are looking forward to having them treat our home on the water for spiders which have also been a menace for years! We would like to thank Angel & Staff for their prompt and curtious service and would highly recommend them! And the best part is that if a problem develops again they will come back at no add'l cost! So far I haven't had to take them up on this offer as it appears the problem has been resolved/

We have had a terrible experience with this company and just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We hired The Bug Man to spray our home for bees given that we had wasp nests and some issues with carpenter bees. We agreed on the price for their services and they came and sprayed the house. The next day we noticed that the sprayer that they used was so strong that it actually ripped some of the siding off of our house. Pieces of siding were in the gutters and the yard. We asked them to come and fix it and they sent someone out that got up on the roof, however the next time we went out the siding was in the gutter again. When we called them again we were told that they would not be accountable for fixing the damage that was done to our home. Our home was built fairly recently and is extremely well built, we have never had any issues with siding or anything structural in the past. Ultimately we were trying to come to a point of resolution on this when the owner called and became very antagonistic (to the point of swearing and saying some very insulting things about the quality of our home). For such a small task it has turned into a complete headache and we are so dismayed by the lack of ethics and even basic professionalism in this company. To add insult to injury the spray itself didn't work. We still have wasp nests on the house. So we've been left with a service that didn't work, damage done to the house and a horrible experience overall. I wish we had realized that they didn't belong to the Better Business Bureau before hiring them. I would stay away from this company entirely. It has been a complete headache and we made a huge mistake in hiring them.

Their service was very good. We haven’t seen one of those ants lately. They were also good with getting rid of the bees for us. We had a good experience with them.

He was professional. Took the time to explain his plan and why he would do certain things. Took the time to assess the environment and how his plan would be modified due to pets and children in the area.

They came right away and took care of the problem. He was nice and informative.

I got to know about him from a local ad in a newspaper. He is very good. I have been using him since four years now. He is very reliable, conscientious, and is very thorough. His price is a little high but it is worth it. His quality is very high and his responsive is more than excellent. He gives a pre-call before coming. He is very professional.

Since last spring we have had carpenter ants in the house, not an infestation, but enough for them to be a nuisance (at times 10 a day or 3-4 in the evening). The ants were mostly concentrated in the kitchen but we had also seen them around other rooms. Bug Man has a standard fee for carpenter ants of $350 and with the total being $378 after taxes. They basically sprayed the entire house. They concentrated on the baseboards and plumbing in the bathrooms and kitchen. They also sprayed the perimeter of the house. Though the price is high, it seemed fair, and the 1 year guarantee was worth the investment. You also have the option to renew after the year is up for a fee of about $150, in which they respray the perimeter of the home. The products they use do control many other pests, but it is important to note that the guarantee only covers the return of the carpenter ants and no other pests. Mike was on time (actually about 10 minutes early) and was professional and thorough in his explanation of everything. Due to regulation, no one other than the technician can be in the home during the treatment, so he was gracious enough to give me a call when he completed the job. They recommend nobody is home for at least 4 hours after the treatment, and it be 6 hours for vulnerable populations (children, elderly, pregnant women). They knew our concerns from our initial call and made sure they were addressed before it started. Mike has background in health inspection so he was able to place context to the products being used.

so far has went extremely well....so far capenter ants have disappeared.........they told us their one time cost includes a 12 month guarranttee includes them coming back at no add'l charge,,,,,they gave a quote over the phone and showed up on the day promised...they were polite and gave us printouts on the carpenter ants......

Excellent service all around. I called this company based on the A rating they have. I called very late in the afternoon to get a price on removing 3 yellow jacket nests in the backyard. I was given a price over the phone and told they could have someone out the next afternoon at 3. He arrived on time, and took care of the 3 nests I called about. Said one of them was huge. I found a 4th nest that morning and he took care of that one at no additional charge. Since there were so many yellow jackets in the area we couldn't mow the lawn near them, so the technician asked for the mower and mowed that patch of lawn for me. The next day there was no longer any yellow jacket activity, and a week later we know for sure all the nests were completely taken care of. Friendly, prompt, more service than expected, professional, knew what he was doing, and priced as quoted. That's a solid A in my book.

They were courteous and gave me the information I needed about what they had sprayed. They were really trying to be accurate and not charge me for anything extra. They listened well. I haven't seen any bees since they sprayed. They added another chemical that the bees can bring into the nest and kill any bees that were inside or came into the nest later. They showed me how to protect my dog because he had to go through that area.

I found them after I had a bad experience with another provider. They were recommended to me by somebody. I have been very happy with them ever since. They are good. I have an annual contract with them. They come out in April or May and do the whole place. Anytime they are near or if anything happens we can just call them and they would come right out and take care of things. We pay them yearly.

They completely took care of the problem. In addition, they sprayed a general pesticide on all the sink pipes in my business and adjacent apartment; then they sprayed the outside of the building, 3 feet up and 3 feet out. They guarantee their work for a full calendar year.

Did not work completely the first time, but followed up with a second treatment for free. The second time, the nest was eliminated. I was very happy with the service.

The experience was great. The wasps are gone and the holes were well-patched. The representative was friendly and professional.

Very good experience - they stand by their promise that if the bees are not taken care of, they will come back out and treat the area again at no charge. We only wish we had asked him to take a look at the house the first time around, so that we wouldn't have to call them out again 2 weeks later for the new nests. I'm sure they would have obliged, as they are very professional. Also, they gave us a small discount the second time around (100.00 instead of 150.00).

We had seen a few wasps around the house before but never gave it much notice. Just part of the outdoors, we figured. Then last week our darling Boston Terrier suffered her first sting. She got through it ok, but it gave us quite a scare and caused us to take a closer look around the house. We noticed a slow but steady stream of yellow jacket traffic in a porch overhang area, so right to Angie's List we went looking for a good exterminator. The Bug Man was rated well and was also the closest of the rated companies. I called and asked a series of questions, all of which were answered to my satisfaction (can you treat this type of infestation, what if they return, what if other infestations exist that you don't notice on the first visit, how long is the treatment guaranteed for, etc.). They had an opening in their schedule for our area the next day but it was mid day and we both work day jobs, so they were able to accommodate an evening appointment within 2 days. On the scheduled day, serviceman Chris actually showed up 1/2 hour early and examined the property, detecting a second infestation spot at the other end of the house near the roofline that we the homeowners had not been able to detect during our own examination (clearly Chris knows where to look and has an eye for spotting these little buggers). Treating the two locations (treated from both interior and exterior) took Chris about 45 minutes. After treatment there was a dramatic increase in the number of visible wasps swarming around the former opening that was now treated and closed off (see photo). They were not happy buggers. Chris explained this was normal and that all bees would be gone within 3 days (or he would come back and re-treat for no additional charge). He explained that these remaining wasps would not move to another area of the home and re-infest, instead, without their original nest and queen, they would simply go off to die somewhere (like some Shakespearean tragedy I suppose). Chris took time to explain what he was doing, what materials/chemicals he was using, and what we should expect. He was courteous and efficient, and upon presentation of the bill he explained each line item and also left us with data sheets on the specific infestation type he noted and the chemicals he used to treat it. All in all it was a very positive experience, and I will probably hire them for their wasp preventative service next spring, which is about $225 if I recall, and guaranteed for the entire season. Best of all the preventative service is good for the entire premises, not just spots I discover and report, so no gamble on my part. We highly recommend the Bug Man.

They arrived on time, clearly told me what they would be doing, did it, left on time, observed safety considerations. They give a one year guarantee so if the ants show up again, they will come back and respray for free. They also offer an ongoing service starting next year at a much lower price than the original treatment.

They were very prompt and came out the day after I called. They also kindly agreed to remove the nest on a day when I was out of town; I just described to them where it was, and when I returned they had removed it. I had to give my credit card info for them to do it this way but it all worked out great. I didn't want them to have to wait until I returned in a week and preferred not to be around when it was done anyway so minimize the chance that my dog or I get stung! My only complaints are the price was a little bit high although reasonable, and they left a portion of the nest on the ground. This isn't a big deal to clean up but I thought it would have been more professional if they had really left no trace. Also they use chemicals to kill the hornets so I would think it would be a good idea for the professionals to clean up all of the debris since they have proper protection etc. These are picky criticisms and overall my experience was positive and I would use them again.

His work was fine. Getting to him was another story.

The company is very professional and friendly. I was very satisfied with their quality of work as it took care of the situation on the first attempt. Even though they are quite busy, they return my phone calls in a timely manner.

Bugman came out within 48 hours of my phone call. The person answering the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. The technician gave me a packet with detailed information about carpenter ants and the series of chemicals he used, which also are designed to kill many other types of insects. Before proceeding, he called his supervisor to describe the ants to make sure they were carpenter ants as they were smaller than he was used to seeing. I appreciated his thoroughness and attention to detail. I thought the price was a bit high for a 3 bedroom/2 bath ranch, but if the problem reappears in the next 12 months, Bugman will come out to treat the problem again at no charge.
