I liked their professionalism and how the explained the chemicals they were using.

The exterminator was very polite and explained everything before he began. He was very sensitive to the fact that we had pets and did the whole process with that in mind. The woman in the office who scheduled the appointment was also wonderful to work with. I have had some medical issues and forgot our first appt. She was very kind and called and extremely helpful in rescheduling the appt. The experience was a very good one and I plan on continuing with the company.

A skin rash and a misdiagnosis prompted us to call Bug Man for a bedbug inspection. They were very prompt in getting back to me and they were able to send their bedbug specialist, Leroy, to our home within a matter of days. He was very thorough and professional. Thankfully, there was no evidence of bedbugs and it was the best $50 we have ever spent. We would definitely recommend Bug Man, and we would use them again.

The man they sent Leroy was very knowledgeable and professional. He followed up almost daily until the issue was resolved. I was very happy with service.

Bugman came out to help me with a bat problem I had and Leroy was the person I dealt with. He was very knowledgeable and professional and arrived early for our estimate. He was also early when it came time to get the work done which I appreciated since I took time off from work to be there. Leroy found several areas of concern that other companies had not noticed and he had a plan of actin to take care of everything. He was even nice enough to help patch a hole squirrels had chewed even though it was not part of our contract. I had the materials for the patch and he provided the labor free of charge. The materials he used were not colored right for the house but he came back again a few days later with black paint and painted all the materials as well. He was great and I have not had bats since. However as I have found out the dormers have inadequate flashing and the foam and caulk he used just covered up the problem. I just found out I will need roofing repairs around all my dormers and most of the work Bugman did will be getting removed. Not Bugman's fault I just wish they told me the roof needed real repairs not just spray foam and caulk once they had removed the bats.

The very first time they came into the house and sprayed in all areas where we had seen ants. Inside cupboards and near the water pipes. You have to be out of the house for a few hours but then everything is ok. They sprayed around the outside of the house to discourage the ants. They guarantee the service for the length of the season. We have also had the outside of the house sprayed for bees. Both services have worked very well. We have been with the company for over 7 years now.

When they were done you could not see the holes they had to drill. The nest was killed.

He informed me what chemicals he was treating the house with and relieved my safety concerns. I have not had any insects since. He went above and beyond with his service.

I had a very active yellow jacket entry into my foundation. Bug Man Pest Removal came out the same Saturday morning that I called and were there within 2 hours. The nest was eliminated and I haven't seen a yellow jacket hovering in that area since. Very nice, professional young man took care of the bee issue. I would use them again for any pest issues.

He is a really nice guy that came right away. They let us know right away the things not to do to help us. He removed the wasp nest right away. He was nice enough to leave some stuff to catch them until they were all gone.

I chose Bug Man because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List. Bug Man lived up to their reputation in those reviews. My 3PM call was answered right away, the exterminator was out before the end of the day, and my bee problem was dealt with in very short order. As is the case with a number of other Bug Man reviews on Angie's List, Mark was the person who came out and took care of my bee problem. I say: Give Mark a raise, Bug Man! He's everything you could possibly want him to be. He is excellent in all respects: listening, explaining, answering questions, advising us of proper precautions, and of course, dealing hands-on with our problem. That's not even mentioning his being an effective Bug Man salesman who gave us the low-down on what Bug Man's annual preventive option involves and will accomplish. As a result of his taking the time to educate us a little bit, that's an option we are now seriously considering for next year. In contrast to the cheap wasp and hornet spray we tried first, Bug Man's "weapons" were effective. Mark got right up there among the bees and applied spray directly into the open seam in our siding. It was obvious that he operates with licensed precision and professional tools. In contrast to my own ineffective approach of "aim and spray from 10 feet away", he was unhesitatingly able to get up close and insert an attachment into the crack so that the pesticide would spray from inside the crack in all directions (up, down, left, right, forward). It was immediately obvious that the bees were unhappy about it, but even so, he followed up the spray with a powder that effectively provides a lingering double-whammy. All of this was backed by their warranty through the end of the year, where they would come back again for free if any of the bees had somehow survived. I should mention that he also took the time to check in our attic space, to see if the bees were actually up in that interior space. We couldn't tell this from outside, so he got up there and took a good look and listen. Fortunately, the bees had not gotten in that far. In addition to being thorough like this, he also had good advice on what to do to close up the exterior seam and prevent bees from entering again in the future. It was my first time using Bug Man, and I was very happy with the service they provided. It could not have been any better -- it was fast, courteous, and effective.

We saw where bees were nesting - where they were entering and exiting. Noticed that there were a lot of bees getting into the basement. The Bug Man checked out the nest from the inside and found that they were nesting in the foundation of the house. He sprayed the nest from the inside and then the outside. It's been almost.a week and no more bees. Excellent service.

Saw bees on the exterior of our house, and then inside our son's bedroom. I called on a Wednesday, and they made an appt for the next day. Mark showed up on time (even 15 mins early), was professional, and very thorough in his treatment. The work is guaranteed through Dec. 2013, so if any more of those !!#$#% bees show up, they'll come back out for free. Even told me about their annual service that consists of treating the house once in the spring, and if there's another outbreak, they come back and treat for free.

arc was rot on time. He was very detailed in what he did. he had a lot of detailed information about the habits of the identified yellow jackets. 3 rd day since his spray and It seems mission accomplished! The only concern is the pricing. Although the specific area he sprayed is covered till December, I wonder if the bees will only eat THIER way into a different spot of the wall and they ere clear this would be considered a "new job". This would be the only reason I wouldn't call them back. bugs are small and tend to eat their way around through the walls. Marc said he couldn't reach the nest directly so it was a sort of crap shoot. I am concerned that I will have have to pay for a "new job" for the "same yellow jackets" because his first spray has moved them further into the walls?? over all, Marc was professional and a good guy and knew his stuff. Just disagree with the way they charge.

I just closed on a home built in 1983 yesterday and got right to work on renovating the kitchen since I have to move in by the end of the month. In the process of removing soffits above the cabinets, I was able to peek into the rafters above the kitchen ceiling. I was shocked to find a massive growth that spanned the entire width of 2 joists. What I was looking at appeared to be the back of a massive (or multiple) wasp nests on the opposite side of the kitchen, near the edge of a bay window. Upon external inspection, I could see wasp activity going in and out of a TINY space in the vinyl siding. I'm allergic and was a little stunned to find such a massive nest in the house. I didn't just want someone to come spray the entry to the nest, I wanted it removed and permanently re-mediated. I've been n Angie's List member for a few months, but this is the first time I've needed to find someone reliable in a pinch. I searched Angie's List and found "Bug Man Pest Elimination". I called them yesterday afternoon, explained the situation and Christian arrived on-site today at 2pm (EDT). He was very professional promptly identified the insects as German Yellow Jackets. He put a small hole in the ceiling (with our permission) and injected the nest to kill it. He also sprayed and sealed the entry point, and even went above and beyond and REMOVED the nest from the ceiling, ceiling the hole from the inside as well. I will highly recommend Bug Man (and their excellent tech Christian / Chris) to anyone, whether they have a small nest or a massive infestation IN the house like I did.

Mark arrived exactly on time. He explained exactly what he would do and how the wasps would react. He also explained the warranty on the work. As I paid the bill, he explained what else the company did. He then warned me about one of the chemicals used and how to deal with the powder IF I saw it. Nice guy.

I called them Wednesday late afternoon and they were here Thursday morning. They were prompt and actually he was a little early which was nice. He was very good about explaining where they were coming in and actually the fact that we, my husband and I, actually was spraying on the outside which drove them in the house. He was very knowledgeable and he explained that he drilled a hole to get to the nest and then he patched the hole up and I found him very professional and I was very pleased with the experience. He was very pleasant. I felt that $215 was a little pricy.

We had just returned from a vacation in Cape Cod only to find our foyer area strewn with dead & dying yellow jackets. The beasties has chewed their way in from an outside soffit and eaten through the drywall ceiling. I called "The Bug Man" exterminator! I was very impressed with their prompt service. Someone answered the phone, rather than me getting an answering machine. They had a man down to our home within 45 minutes. Their man Chris was very professional. Our foyer ceiling is nearly 20 foot high with a huge glass chandelier that hangs there. Chris managed to wield a large extension ladder safely into place to get at the nest in the high ceiling. He had the situation under control in a matter of minutes and was able to dispatch the invaders and kill the nest. He did not mark any of the walls and used great care in applying the insecticide. He then placed some duct tape over the hole. He said that the area around the entry was soft and advised me to have the dry wall looked into. After he finished inside, he followed up outside by spraying the shrubs and soffit area. I would highly recommend ?The Bug Man? for their prompt and very professional service. I now will need to have a drywall professional come in to repair the damage to the ceiling that the yellow jackets caused.
