Sean and son were very professional and thorough. We are very pleased with the end result. They were punctual and hard working. They are very busy so you need to plan in advance.

Sean was great from quickly responding to do an estimate to providing advice on materials. His pricing was competitive, particularly when you take into account the quantity (2 coats) and quality. Just him and his son, so you don't have to worry about random people in your house and things disappearing. He did a great job, worked within my timeframe, completed the job on time. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend.

From the initial quote to the final day of painting, Sean and his son were pleasant to work with. They responded to the quote request within 24 hours of the request and were able to look at the house within a week to provide an estimate. The quality of work was outstanding and I can't state anything negative about the job the completed. It was a pleasure to work with them and I will be hiring them again for other painting projects.

I am very happy that I hired Sean and his son to complete the painting job at our home. Sean is reliable, trustworthy, punctual and knowledgeable and so therefore, the process (from receiving the initial quote to the last day of work) was easy and hassle-free. We are very pleased with the work done. Expectations were more than met. They arrived on time and reviewed what would be done that day. They worked very diligently with no distractions, and completed the entire project ahead of schedule.

I reached out to three painters. Sean was the only one who immediately responded to me (via email and text, my favorites), came to do an estimate exactly when I needed him to, gave me a price that was exactly the same as the first painter I talked to (but who totally flaked out on me), squeezed me into his calendar, was here when he said he would be, did a really beautiful job, finished when he said he would, charged me what he said he would, cleaned up beautifully and was just really such a pleasure to deal with. He doesn't realize it yet, but he's going to have a lot more painting to do around here. It really is hard finding reliable people, and I was getting frustrated. I appreciate Sean's responsiveness, his follow through, his honesty, professionalism and quality of work. This all goes for his son and co-worker as well. He also did something I didn't know was possible. I had a wall that connects, through a hallway, from this family room up to the kitchen. This hallway had to be partially primed by the contractor that did the family room. I didn't know what I was going to do... have a wall with two different colors? But Sean took a sample of the kitchen paint, and he was able to so perfectly match the original color (from like 5 years ago) and reinstated the color of that hallway so perfectly, my wife and I simply cannot figure out where the new paint begins and the old paint ends. Really impressive.

They started the work as planned and completed the work on time. It was a pleasure to have them working for us. I have known Sean for about 5 years. This is the first time I've hired him. I did get another quote and both were in the same range, near identical. He came when he said, picked up after himself, very neat. He even moved my china cabinet and I didn't have to take everything out of it ( we have hard wood floors so I'm sure that made it easier) I know we'll hire him again

Sean and his son showed up exactly when he said they would, picked up the paint and had all materials in my home at the time he scheduled. He made nice with my dog which isn't easy by the way. They got to work I left for work and I stopped back a few hours later and they were working very hard and I was shocked as to how far they had done. Well to make a great story a little shorter they did a fantastic, all the inside corners where walls meet ceilings perfect. This guy was great at his profession he took the time to do the job right, and when I need more work done Sean will be my contact person. Excellent job Sean, Thanks

As usual Sean Sr. and Jr. did a great job. I have had them at my office and house for numerous projects. I have been extremely pleased with their work.

Sean was excellent all around. He came on time (even a bit early sometimes), very flexible with scheduling, did a great job painting and then cleaning up after, completed the work on time and offered a reasonable price overall (which turned into a better deal with the 10% off labor Angies List coupon).

Sean is an absolute sweetheart. He advertises as "pet friendly" and he was wonderful with my big dogs, greeting them every morning, arranging furniture so that they weren't inconvenienced. His work is extremely professional, and he leaves everything very clean! He was great doing some extra work we needed done, and kept us posted on how long everything would take. We couldn't be happier!

After getting the run around from another painter who looked at my house but wouldn't answer my calls, I returned to Angie's list and found Sean. He returned my call promptly and was immediately available for an estimate which I received in writing later that day along with a list of references. His was the middle of three estimates which I received, but was a greater value as his estimate included items such as ceilings and staircase spindles, which he knew would have to be included in order for the finished product to look good. While others said the price and quality of painters would depend on how soon they would start, Sean assured me that the work would be performed by him and his son and he was available to start almost immediately. He was very careful about protecting the carpets which I had just replaced, but also wanted to make sure we did it in the most cost effective way. He kept me updated daily by phone or by text and stuck to his proposed schedule. I couldn't be happier with the finished product and am already planning to hire him again to paint my kitchen cabinets.

Sean (and crew) arrived on time and completed the job as promised. The job required covering a very dark color with a light color matched to an adjoining wall. The color matches exactly and corners are neat (no overpainting). We have used Sean several times in the past and will use him again.

As a homeowner I have done my share of painting over the years. I recently downsized purchasing a 60 year old cape in great shape. Painted the master bedroom ceiling and experienced a lot bubbling as it rolled on and dried. I worked with the local Sherwin Williams retailer sorting out whether it was the paint, room temperature etc. During my second trip to the paint store (still experiencing bubbling) Sean was purchasing paint for a huge job he and his son were working on and I randomly asked him for his opinion of my bubbling issue. After explaining my situation, Sean recommended sanding again and applying quality primer and a finish coat. Before I purchased the primer Sean offers to follow me home and see for himself what I have been dealing with. Sean confirmed the room temperature wasn't an issue and I followed his professional advice. I offered Sean a few bucks for his time but he refused to take any money. Unfortunately, I continued to experience the same problem that afternoon. I called Sean to share the updated results and mentioned to him that I was going out of town for weekend and needed to move into the home on Tuesday. Sean said, "no problem, I will take of the problem on Saturday and Sunday for you and you can move in to your new home on Tuesday as planned". Upon my return, Sean had met my expectations by meeting me back at the home and sharing with me how he and is son resolved the problem. This guy who I randomly met at the paint store, went way out of his way to offer free advice and offer to resolve the problem at a fair price allowing my family and I to enjoy our weekend out of town and move into my new home on my target date. I highly recommend Sean and his son, they are very professional painters and truly care about their customers needs.

From the moment I left a voice message on Sean's answering machine I knew this was going to be a great relationship. Within the hour Sean responded to my voice message and we arranged an appointment so that Sean could look at the project and provide an estimate. Sean and his wife Beverly arrived precisely on time and we discussed the project. Within 24 hours I received a written estimate via email along with insurance information and several individuals to contact for references. I was pleasantly surprised as Sean's estimate was approximately the same as previous estimates, but Sean's included two coats of paint. Sean was very open and honest and did not hesitate to let me know that he was in the middle of a huge project and could not get to my project for two weeks or so. (I VERY MUCH appreciated this, as another painter promised to complete my project the week following me signing a contract. Needless to say, that painter had an excuse each week for the next six weeks until I finally told him that I would not do business with him.) After a week or so, Sean contacted me to schedule the painting date. The day prior to the scheduled painting date, Sean and Sean, Jr. visited to again assess the job and confirm exactly what would be painted. The painting date arrived and Sean and Sean, Jr. arrived exactly at the time they said they would. They moved furniture out of the room, covered things and hung plastic sheeting to protect the walls. They diligently worked all day and completed the job before dinner time. At the end of the day, furniture was moved back into the room, plastic sheeting removed, not a drop of paint was seen anywhere it shouldn't have been, the newly painted ceiling looked great and I couldn't have been happier. I would recommend Sean to anyone without hesitation and would certainly ask him to return for other projects. He is professional, reasonable, honest and punctual.
