Sean agreed to squeeze me into his busy schedule after he came to assess the work that needed to be done. Within a couple of weeks, he came on the agreed upon dates and painted both rooms as we’d discussed. His work is excellent and he left my home spotless after he completed his work. I hired Sean after he had done excellent work for me at a previous residence. He’s very professional and his prices are fair for the outstanding work he does. I will hire him again when the need arises.

Sean's work went beyond our expectations. In addition to painting there was a lot of patching involved. Sean's work is expert and meticulous. Sean and Beverly are friendly, professional, honest, and reliable. We would definitely hire Sean again!

My husband Ron and I had the good fortune to find Sean Commerford, Sr. to paint our condo. Sean and Beverly are two of the nicest and most professional contractors we have ever dealt with. We needed a bedroom painted and to be honest it's a very small room. Sometimes it's hard to find someone reliable and willing to take on a minor project. We called Sean Commerford Painting, Inc. From inquiry to project completion...all I can say is that this team is remarkable! They have great communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. I was delighted when my short time frame to have 3 bedrooms and a bathroom painted was finished ahead of deadline. This team was the first to respond back to me after I called about 7 different painters on Angies list. Within a few hours I had a response and within a few days (because of my work schedule) I had an estimate. My project was completed in 8 days. I have never seen people paint so quickly and with precision. They even managed to squeeze me in with a time consuming project they were working on. Not to mention I even received helpful recommendations for my new home and referrals for other services I needed done. They are genuine honest people. Finding professionals like this is rare. Painted DR, LR, 2 story Entrance-way & upstairs hallway. Including ceilings, 9 doors and all molding. Very friendly and professional. Made an appointment to get quote and he showed up time. Excellent communications as we chose paint and scheduled work. Showed up everyday at the time he said he would. Job completed in a timely manner with little disruption. Finished job looks great and we will use Sean's services again.

My sister and I hired Sean to paint my dad's living room, dining room ,kitchen, hallway, cathedral ceiling with beams and stairway. We felt they were competitively priced as we had a few estimates from other contractors. My dad was out of town and we needed someone who could complete the job in a short amount of time before he returned. They took on the job even though his schedule was pretty full. They were very efficient and finished ahead of our time frame even though we added extras on at the last minute. We are very pleased with the work that was done!! He and his wife were very personable and professional. We felt very comfortable having them in our home. I know my dad will be very pleased with the results. I would recommend him to anyone and look forward to working with them again in the future!

My last contractor I hired for the job, Residential improvements left me high and dry, taking my down payment ,starting the job and left, not to return my calls nor return to complete the job.Folks beware and steer clear of that contractor! So I was left with my 3 main rooms , the kitchen, living room and dinning room ,all with cathedral ceilings ,empty of furniture, spackling attempted and a very poor start to painting all this just short of 2weeks before I was to be entertaining the family for Thanksgiving dinner. I contacted many other painters who I’m sure were decent but only Sean and his son came to my rescue. They reassured me I would have my home painted and back up and running for the holiday dinner. By George...And they did just that. The job was superb! My walls ,ceilings and hallway sparkled. They were polite, curtious and extremely helpful. I am so grateful to know we do still have honest businesses still out there operating. This father and son team are the men for the job, they certainly did right by me and I know they will do right by you. A definite professional father son team, I will have on my list for any future jobs and I will definitely recommend them to others! Thank you again Sean Sr. And Jr.!😁

Sean and his wife gave me an estimate and explained what they would do, and what I needed to do, such as choose the paint. The father-son team arrived on time and completed the project on time. Very professional and a really job - it looked great. But here's the best part. Sean painted the wrong color in the master bedroom! It was an easy mistake as I had trouble distinguishing between the whites. I hated to call him up and tell him. His immediate response was "No problem, I will fix that and repaint it", which he did. Bottom line: if you are looking for a professional painter who does a fantastic job and, more importantly, is a man of his word, then Sean Commerford is your guy. I would hire this team back for every future painting job I have.

The work completed was amazing. Sean and his son made all the cracks and imperfections disappear. The room looks brand new! We enjoyed working with Commerfords and highly recommend them.

Cannot say enough about this father-son team. In a day and age where professional and personal attention to detail are not what they used to be, these two have restored my faith in workers you can trust to get the job done right. They were also amenable to helping out with other projects and were prompt and honest when one piece needed a different tradesman. They were awesome.

Sean and his son took the time to do the job right, with still a little more work to be done on our exterior deck due to new wood added. They were detailed in their explanations and up front about their costs to make sure expectations were aligned. Very professional, very helpful, and good people! I would strongly recommend these folks to others, and if you see a cheaper price just remember, "you get what you pay for".

Job was completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction with a high degree of professionalism. Once job got underway painter concentrated on job and maintained a clean environment , i.e. No messes! Would use them in the future and recommend them to family and friends.

The painting was completed on June 22. When I pointed out that the kitchen ceiling still had the same imperfections it did before he painted it, he pushed back rudely, claiming that he never said he would fix imperfections. When I persisted, his son redid the painting. Now, less than 2 months later, there are several bubbles/alligatoring on the ceiling. One wall adjacent to a cabinet has alligatored as well. It looks as if it had never been painted at all. I selected him in spite of his high price because he came highly recommended by Angie's List and a local paint store.

Their work was excellent. Our house looks so much better. They took off old shutters, gutter drains and flower boxes and made sure everything was painted and put back as it was. The job site was kept clean. Very professional work and attitude. One of the best, if not the best contractor, we have dealt with in the 10 years we've owned our home. Its so nice to have a job done well. So far this is the only contractor we would recommend. They even caught that the previous owners had painted over the stain so we could avoided using the wrong choice for exterior cover.

Sean was great to deal with in the initial setup of our project. He came out and discussed with me what we wanted to have done and then gave us an estimate. The reviews and references were great, so Sean was my only estimate I got. As we got closer to the start of our project Sean was great with communication and letting me know an idea of when we would be able to begin. We had two large hallways including all windows, doors, walls, ceilings and trim painted. This involved removing some wallpaper (5 layers worth) and then painting over the wallpaper depending on the circumstances. Not an normal quick project as we have an old house with a lot of character. Sean and his son were very nice to work with, were always there when they said they would, left things clean and picked up each night and even put up with our 10 month old lab who had just been neutered. A busy house for sure. We expect to have Sean back for future projects and I highly recommend him for any projects you may have have. Hopefully when we are ready to paint our exterior, we will be able to have Sean come out as well! Thanks Sean (and son!).
