Description of Work: Chimney inspection and chimney sweep on wood burning fireplace. This will be the first winter we use the fireplace since purchasing the home so we wanted to have someone come look at it. They had to reschedule the initial apt but were very professional about it and apologized both on the phone and in person. When they got here they were professional, explained all of the work they did, made sure not to make a mess, and even took photos of a few things to look out for on the chimney. They told me the photos will be added to their records and when they come back in the future they'll know what to look for. What a nice touch! Overall couldn't be happier and will definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: I spoke with Sam twice about fireplace inserts. He was very helpful and patient and tried very hard to find something that met the needs of my situation. In the end, I went with another design, so I did not get a product from Matchless. But, based on the helpfulness and professionalism I experienced, I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Installed gas fireplace-prompt, explained everything they were going to do either before the actual day or on the day of installation-very neat and clean, spent a great deal of time explaining how system worked and returned promptly a few months later when there was a minor problem

+ -1 moreTHE PEOPLE WHO CAME DIDN'T REALLY SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND THE SEALING ON THE BRICKS SEEMED TO MAKE IT WORSE. THEY DIDN'T FIX IT BY SEALING THE BRICKS, WE FINALLY HAD TO HAVE THE CHIMNEY REBUILT. WE WOULD HAVE THEM BACK BUT JUST FOR THE CHIMNEY CLEANING.

+ -1 moreIT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CALL AND FOLLOW UP AFTER THE JOB IS DONE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING'S WORKING ALRIGHT. I WASN'T PLANNING ON SPENDING THAT MUCH MONEY AND THEN THEY EXPLAINED THE EFFICIENCY OF THE STOVE AND SO THEN I WENT FOR IT.

+ 0 moreTHERE WAS NOTHING REMARKABLE, THEY DID THE WORK WE ASKED THEM TO DO. IT WAS TIMELY AND NEAT. THEY REALLY SEEMED LIKE THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND THEY GOT THE WORK DONE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.
