I had originally contacted Plumb-it-Right via email. 2 weeks later, no response. I called them. A woman in the office made an appointment and the plumbers showed up at the time they were supposed to. I chose Plumb-it-Right because they were the plumbers who installed my hot water heater from Sears (installation was included.) This time around, they sent out two plumbers. No problem there. The issue I have with Plumb-it-Right has nothing to do with the two plumbers (both of which were highly professional in their demeanor and plumbing skills.) The problem I have is with the final bill. The plumbers stayed for 2 hours. At $85 an hour each, that's only $340. The amount of supplies they used was minimal, considering I supplied the install kit and the water softener. They supplied the sump pump (a top of the line sump pump is about $200.) The way I got the bill was like this; plumber A calls his boss and describes the work that was done. the boss tells him the total...$788.00. If the plumbers hourly charge is a total of $340 plus the sump pump of $200, even if a house call charge of $100 and a distance charge of $50 were thrown in it doesn't come to $788. Maybe tax? I don't know. It was just shocking when I was presented with the bill, which was not itemized. These guys were on time and highly professional. Did the job and did it well. It's unfortunate that their billing is done in a way that keeps you guessing for days afterward. Also, I asked for an estimate for a bathroom remodel. I'm still waiting for the estimate more than two weeks later. That's why I have chosen a different contractor to do the work.

I was very impressed by Pat, the plumber who came to our home, and with the company in general. They handled the entire matter (from making the appointment to doing the repairs) in a professional manner. Everything was explained well and I was very satisfied with the quality of work and the care taken to handle each issue.

The guys were great! We bought the coupon special they offered on line ( $144 for 2 hrs of labor) which we thought was a bargain then all we needed to pay for at time of service was the parts. The hook up they used retailed for under $40 if we had bought it ourselves, but thought for sure we would get with a very inflated parts bill. We were really happy that the charge for parts was still just average retail. Great job, we have a bunch more plumbing on this house inthe future and we will gladly call them again.

We were having a problem with the water going to the washing machine, and couldn't figure out why we couldn't get a cold rinse cycle, even though we could do a wash cycle with cold. They figured out that the water lines were reversed in the floor below, and corrected it.....very pleased! The other plumber repaired a toilet that was loose, has been like that for years! This was a "coupon" special, and we were very pleased to find out there was no extra parts or labor above the advertised price!

Pat arrived to our home right on time and began the removal of the main bath old faucet. Not too long after fighting with the faucet to come out the usual traditional way, he informed us that it was taking too long and not responding to usual measures. He asked if he could save time and trouble and use a small hand-held electric saw to saw off the main portion of the faucet. He moved very briskly in and out of our home to get necessary tools etc. In just minutes, after the sawing process, the faucet was successfully removed. He then installed the new and moved on to the next bath. Everything went smoothly for the second installation. Pat was super professional, and when he had any question or doubts about what he needed to do for us, he contacted his superior for comment or suggestions. He did not waste time and moved quickly but with care and precision. He was always polite and considerate. I would hire him again in an instant. We have another job for him in our kitchen in about a month and will be requesting Pat to accomplish it for us. Nice to work with local businesses with great employees with integrity and expertise!! Thanks Do it Right and Pat for great service and a forever place to call for plumbing needs.

.My original request was to reinstall the bathroom sink so that the trap could be removed and cleared. This was new news to the 2 young men who came to do the job, although they made a perfunctory attempt to humor me. They were also unaware that this was an Angie's List Big Deal, so the bill had to be rewritten. My request, in my initial contact, that they use the rear stairs was ignored. On the other hand, the drain now works. My overall impression is that either the office communication is not great or they made decisions without telling me

I was so comfortable with the gentleman who came that I decided to refer him to my Mom and he fixed her plumbing issue too!!

I believe in getting the most out of anything I own. Hence you'll understand that the toilet being replaced was made in 1952.(Why replace it if it still works well??) Anyway....Patrick from DoItRightPlumbing arrived on time; was VERY pleasant and professional; didn't mind the fact that I have a dog and several cats (he even was concerned when he noticed that my dog wasn't outside and wanted to make sure I had brought her inside). He replaced a VERY old toilet with a new Koehler Cimarron; installed a new water line to the toilet and showed me the 2 flush system of the new high efficiency Koehler. I also had a $20.00 off coupon through Angie's LIst so it brought the bill down from $198.00 to $178.00. He even removed the old toilet for me. Patrick spent a good deal of time making sure the new toilet fit just right over a VERY old floor connection. I am VERY impressed by my 1st experience with DoITRightPlumbing. When I need a plumber again, I will definitely call them!! I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND PRICING, When DoItRightPlumbing saw that it wouldn't be a 'standard, quick' install, Patrick told me right away about the problems and told me what he needed to do, keeping me in the loop at all times. He also said that if there were ANY problems , to call the office right away and they would fix it. Good Service, professionalism (esp. watching Patrick take pride in his work) and at a fair price.What more could anyone ask?!

The arrived when they said they would, found and fixed the leak and were gone within an hour.

My experience did not go very well. They charged way too much money. They did not really do the job right.

They were great. They were quick to do the work. They were also very prompt and professional.

My experience with them was good. I would use them again. The guy they sent was a dog lover so he did not mind my dog sniffing around him while he was working on the sink. They showed up on time and set me up with an appointment within 24 hours of my call. They were quick and friendly.

Our experience with him was good. He came in did the job quickly. He was a little expensive.

Do It Right Plumbing Inc. I have them the $25 Angie's List coupon and they were fantastic. I praise them highly. They went out of their way to help me out with a few things. o it took a couple days for them to get here but they instructed me what to do, basically a bottle cap, buy a brass cap, put it on there and it's not going to leak. So that's pretty good, but eventually I would like to use it. So the $25 coupon from your place that helped. The guy came and bing, bang, bong, when ever somebody repairs something here I watch them, because I can fix a lot of stuff myself. In the future I'm an expert at it now. I was kind of Pow'd that you have to pay them so much for fifteen minutes of work, but they've got you, you know? It all started out kind of negative, I called and made an appointment and everything and waited here for two hours and the guy calls me from like 80 miles away and it was past the time they were supposed come. It's dinner time, it's my son's birthday. So forget it. I go, I said to him I kind of pulled the Angie's list, you know know you guys are on Angie's list and you are not really doing what you are supposed to do. He was apologetic and everything. They had the ribbon so that really attracts your eye. So you know I gave him a break and let the guy come the next day and right at the start of the day about 7 in the morning, he calls me and he got over here and took care of it. They were apologetic and I like that somebody that they don't blow you off. I kept reminding them, you remember you are a member of something that is very special. You guys, I mean everyone praises you. I'm so glad that you ran TV ads because that's what caught my eye. I would say that they are the one you want to call. Unfortunately we had that little bump in the road, but that happens, a guy is doing a job and they can't leave, you got to finish it. I let then know that I understood and they were really nice about it. I highly recommend them. They definitely earned the ribbon. I'm kind of a joker and I joked with the guy, we had a great time. It was like hanging out, I was almost tempted to bust open a couple of beers. Very, very good. Just in general, highly recommended and very reasonable. Very reasonable.

I will be calling Do it Right in the future. It went better than these things can.

When the plumbers got here (were scheduled for between noon-2, and got here near 1), I was initially turned off because they didn't introduce themselves. They just walked right in and got to work. The work was very quick, and they were clean about it. They did seem like they wanted to get on to the next job rather swiftly. Although they were the cheapest quote that I found, there was some price discrepancy between what the receptionist told me and what I was charged. It wasn't very much difference, but they should be on the same page. On a positive note, I forgot to use my Angie's list coupon when they were here, so I called and they said they would mail me a refund for that amount. So far the disposal seems to be in working order (I supplied), but we shall see if anything changes. They were able to use my old power cord from the last disposal so I could return the new one and save some money. I would say this was average service overall.

Our experience with Do It Right Plumbing was nothing but POSITIVE!. We started out with what was supposed to be a simple / routine replacement pipe for our main sewer line & ran into major problems. We have an older house & plumbing was done in 1940's. Once the plumbers got underground & could fully evaluate things, it was clearly a very bad situation. The owner of Do It Right Plumbing (John) helped us through this unfortunate event with top notch service! He clearly explained everything to us at each step of the project. His site supervisor (Brian) was also very responsive and professional. When the repair could not be accomplished as they had originally planned, Do It Right Plumbing kept us informed on what other options we had to get things functional again. The plumbing crew was here promptly each day as planned, they were courteous, and even called us when they unable to work one day due to the weather conditions. The owner always did his due diligence by calling ahead to the local Village Sewer authorities and National Grid prior to the underground dig. When Do It Right Plumbing arrived at our home (for all those days they were working the project) they came ready to work, and they were here past normal hours on several days. At the end of the project, Do It Right also made sure that they left our premises as back-to-normal and cleaned up as possible. We were very impressed on the evening of Good Friday when the project was wrapping up. As they had promised in the morning, they would not leave here that day until all our plumbing was fully functional and they kept their promise!While the site manager was finishing up the last details, the other crew members were out front sweeping down our driveway (and it was almost dark outside at this point). We would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs honest, high quality, reliable, and professional plumbing repairs!

I called them the first time with a toilet that was stopped up by most likely a toy. I have a two year old and caught her putting toys in the toilet the day before. I called and they sent a guy out that very day. He fished out a toy, and wrote up the bill and went on his way. Within 12 hours the toilet was overflowing again. I immediately called the company again, and had to leave a voice mail. The next day, I still hadn't heard back from them, so that afternoon I called again. I explained that the toilet had overflowed again, and that it doesn't look like he fixed the problem. She assured me if it was the same toilet there would be no charge since it happened so soon after their first visit. So the next morning they sent out the same guy, who snaked it again and got it to flush (but admitted it was flushing slow but that he had snaked it 6 feet and whatever there was, must have been pushed out of the way). He then writes me up another bill for the same amount as their first visit. I told him that I was assured that I wouldn't be charged, since they original problem wasn't taken care of. He told me "we don't guarantee our work" because we don't know what has happened from when we left to now. I would have accepted that answer if it had been a few days, but not 12 hours! So I called their office while the plumber was standing there, and reminded them they told me I wouldn't have to pay anything. She said the owner would cut the price and only charge me $40 for them coming out, but if they came out again they would charge me the full amount. Well guess what, the toilet overflowed again within 24 hours. My husband, completely feed up by now, researched the issue online and determined we needed a new toilet. Went to Home Depot, and $88 later we have a new toilet and never had an issue since. Lesson learned, don't ever work with a vendor who "doesn't guarantee their work". Unbelievable!

Very professional and very responsive. Plumber was here in about an hour, late on a Saturday night. Did a wonderful and professional job replacing a failed sump pump, while water was still coming in the basement. Cleaned up and took the old sump pump away. The price was high, only due to the time and emergency service, so this is completely expected. I will definitely call them again with any future needs.

Just a bit of a glitch when the plumber arrived; he wasn't told he was installing a new water heater. He had to go back and get one. Other than that, the work that was done was excellent. Everything was cleaned up and he took the time to explain how to take care of the water heater so I can get the maximum life out of it. I will definitely use them again and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Very well so far. Work was done well; work area was cleaned up prior to leaving site.

They came the next day. They had an power snake they used. They did good.

Arrived 1 hour before scheduled time. Worked efficiently and did a good job

Everything went well. The plumber diagnosed the problem quickly and made the necessary repair. I have used them in the past, and they always do well.
