I called this company because of the reviews I saw on Angie's list. We had a leaky outdoor water spigot at our home I called several plumbers and Do It Right was able to come to our house that day, which was great. 2 plumbers came and I was told that one was new to the company. He appeared to be learning the ropes. They were there approximately 30 minutes and completed the fairly simple job of replacing the leaky spigot with a new frost free one, When I was told the price of $245, I was shocked. I paid the plumbers, but followed up with a call to the office. I was told on the phone that the cost was that high because there were 2 plumbers and because of the materials. No material prices were itemized on the bill seperate from the labor, but I can not imagine they were very costly. This was clearly a job one plumber could have handled. I have had good luck with several local plumbers in the past, and have never paid such a high rate for a simple job. I hired them because they were able to get to my house the quickest, which was a mistake. I would not hire them again.

I called ahead to see the cost of having a drain snaked and was told it would be $25 an hr. When the plumber came out he was professional and friendly, but in the end he was there for 1 hr, and the bill was $145 plus tax!! I asked what happened to the $25 an hr we were quoted, but he said no, there is a flat rate on the work he did, which was snaking out a bathroom sink drain. He also fooled with the toilet a bit because the water level comes up high when flushed, but he didn't repair it, only advised we'd need a new toilet soon. He then specifically said we would NOT be charged for anything he did related to the toilet. I feel like the rate was a total bait and switch. Beware.

The work they did was solid enough, however a new assistant workman apparently in training came with the employee who'd done work for us previously, and the new guy wasn't especially courteous or even cooperative. We'd asked that the water line which they were attaching the new 'pex'-tube line to, have a suspender added because the main is simply hanging free of any tethering at the point where the new line's attached. 2nd 'hand' said he would and then didn't after all. Also tho the more professional of these two guys explained that the faucet we'd purchased in advance, was NOT really designed for our sink they made it work okay as agreed--however they had to be called back to caulk around the base of it because the gasket included with the faucet wasn't preventing leakage. Something they obviously should've made sure of before leaving the first time 'round. It would've been alright enough had they at least done a neater/decent job of caulking after our having to schedule yet another appointment which shouldn't've been necessary ... however the caulking work that was done in the most highly visible place was utterly sloppy and unsightly. Not entirely pleased second time 'round with them, and can only recommend them mainly for rough-work or anything more basic and generally out of sight, as their own results.

Patrick was right on. The toilet hasn't run again since he replaced the part. I was very pleased that his best guess was indeed the right guess. He was prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable, and looked at a few other issues that might come up in the future.

Great, the plumber fixed the valves and was nice and punctual.

Arranged on 3 different occasions to have them come out to do a quote. Called well after the first appointment time frame ended, had a family emergency. No problem. Totally understand. Didn't show for second appointment. Called and arranged a 3rd time and someone came then. Very pleasant and very knowledgeable but said he would supply us with a quote. We have yet to hear from anyone and I have called and emailed the office trying to find out what is going on. This was weeks ago. Moving on to another contractor.

It went very well. Patrick was extremely nice, polite, professional and helpful. He was even able to come early and called to see it that was okay.

He looked downstairs to evaluate the plumbing lines to the main drain and then used a power roto rooter to make sure that the clog was cleaned out all the way to the main line. He then asked if any other drains needed cleaning, which he checked the up stairs bathroom and the kitchen sink drains. They were both clean and did not require any additional work. He also informed us of how to maintain a clean drain by using a bacterial enzyme that you can pick up at Home Depot to keep everything moving in the plumbing system. He was very professional and helpful. We liked the service he provided so we called Do It Right Plumbing service in January when we needed to replace a kitchen faucet and fix a leaking toilet. Once again a great job was performed by Patrick and we will use their service again for future plumbing needs.

Arrived on time. Checked out the problem at the toilet, removed toilet inspected fixed, reset toilet went to basement checked remaining plumbing including second floor. Very pleasant professional and knowledgeable. Would use again

Did a good job but I feel that I was overcharged even though I paid Angie's List $140 to be used towards my bill for 2 hours of work. He worked for 3 1/2 hours and gave me an unitemized bill for over $500. Didn't say how he got this amount. So between what I paid Angie's List and what I paid them, it was about $700 for 3 1/2 hours.

It went great! Patrick was very friendly and professional. He had the part I needed in his truck and gave me valuable information regarding upgrading my sinks. I will DEFINITELY call on Do It Right for my future projects!

Patrick, very personable, and his assistant demonstrated great professionalism. Upon arrival I was asked if they needed to put on foot covers. I told them it was not necessary; but for them to ask showed respect for me, as a homeowner, and my property. He completed the project within the specified time parameter. The quality of work is excellent. While his assistant was out purchasing a necessary drain part, Patrick took a look at my kitchen faucet and advised me as to which companies produce quality products for future replacement. He conveyed reliable information and I trust his recommendations since they are on par with research I?ve done online. Just before leaving, Patrick promised he would stop by and fix any leaks, should any occur, from the facet and drain installation. Overall this was a great experience and I recommend Do It Right Plumbing Inc. They are on my resource list for future plumbing jobs.

We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling below the upstairs' bathroom. Do It Right Plumbing (2 men) came to the home and diagnosed the problem and fixed it. It required cutting a hole in the ceiling and replacing the tub waste, p-trap, cartridge, etc. They also replaced the downspout and tub faucet which had a slow leak for some time. They were upfront in what they planned on doing and the cost and explained that the ceiling would need to be repaired which was not included in the cost. After the repair, they recommended I leave the ceiling open for a couple of days to make sure the problem was fully cleared up. Over the next two days, there was some leaking noted during a shower but not all showers. We contacted them and they came the same day. Again, they were systematic in determining the source of the leak and found that caulk was needed around the trim of the new faucet. They did the work and there was no charge. Everything is working great and we are leak free. We had the ceiling repaired by a separate contractor.

Came out and gave a reasonable estimate with a tentative start date. They had to reschedule do to rain a few times, the had to reschedule do to equipment failure. Tried to contact them again by phone and email and they have dropped off the face of the earth!

Excellent. They arrived during the 2 hour window after giving me an ETA call 45 minutes prior. Patrick and his colleague were friendly and professional - and they appreciated the prep work that I had done prior to their arrival. They clipped along at a good pace and finished the work in just over an hour.

I called Do It Right Plumbing to get a quote on how much they charged to come out and diagnose a problem. I spoke with John the owner who asked me what was going on and after a few questions diagnosed the problem over the phone. He then gave me a set price to do the job with the cost of extra materials that may be needed not included in the quote. I appreciated the set price and not being charged hourly from the time service technician leaves the shop. I also appreciated John's willingness to diagnose the problem over the phone when I hadn't even agreed to use there service yet. Pat was the plumber that came to perform the work. Pat called ahead to give me a heads up on the specific time he would be at my home. When he arrived he asked if I would like him to take off his shoes. Pat looked over the job to be done and informed me of additional parts that would be required to complete the job which were not already negotiated into cost of the service. After removing the old faucet Pat took the time to clean the sink where the new faucet would go. Pat completed the job in a timely fashion for the amount of work there was to be done. After everything was done Pat explained what he had done and informed me of there warranty policy. When it was time to pay for the service they met there quoted price excluding the cost of extra materials added on to it. Pat was professional and courteous and I appreciated the work he did. I appreciated that Pat respected my home and that he preformed the work as if he were replacing a faucet in his own home.

Do-It-Right plumbers arrived within four hours of my call. They took care of everything in 45 minutes. Both plumbers were very pleasant and efficient.

Very well-went right to work-had to leave for 20 minutes to get a new cap for a leaking sewer drainage. Patrick and his helper were on task, focused and knowledgeable.

Didn't fit right so they provided us with another one after a little bit of coaxing.

Super technician. He not only did a professional job but was a world of information.

Arrived at 12:25 pm. Looked at sump pump and took measurement. Went to purchase the cover. Cut the PCV pipe to sump pump, slide cover onto pipe and used a rubber coupling to hold the cut pipe together. Wrong to cut pipe, should have purchased cover to fit around PVC pipe to cover. Job done by 1:38 pm.. 165$ for the job...CRAZY. Cover was plastic. Called company and he said they would credit me 30$ and the guy would come back if I wrote another check. I declined as the office was the one pricing the job. I told them I was an angies list subscriber. Guess there advertising labor rate doesn't mean a thing.

Very bad leak that was causing damage. We chose 'Do It Right' from Angie's List because they had a lot of good reviews, and an overall A rating. We were amazed when we called and were told someone could be here the same day...and even better, within two hours Pat was here. Within the next two hours he assessed the problem, went out to get parts (our system is ancient), and had the terrible leak fixed. What a relief! It's been a few weeks now, and no problems. Pat was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He certainly is an asset to that company! We felt the amount we paid was fair, and a good value.

It started out fine, a nice young man came out to assess the problem. He was very professional polite and knowledgable. I was given an estimate and work was scheduled to begin in a couple of days. Tear out of existing stuff and installation of pipes was done in a timely fashion and cleanup was excellent. Then everyone disappeared. I was expecting my mother for a visit from Florida which I had explained and this was the only bathroom In the house, to complicate things the average temperature was 85 degrees. I began calling the owner who gave me some song and dance about how spread thin he was blah blah blah. I told him the was not my problem and that I bet he was taking a shower in his bathroom not at the kitchen sink. The tub and shower head went in next but the walls were all torn out so I still could not use the shower. More textxs and angry message later we have the surround but nothing was caulked so it was still unusable. Everyone disappeared once again. My mother was here by now but staying at my sisters due to the lack of working shower. More days pass and someone comes to caulk. It was supposed to be ready to paint when they were done but areas were rough, there were gaps where the surround met the drywall, there was a hole still near the floor where the rotten drywall had been removed and last but not least wooden molding had been attached to the floor to cover a gap between the linoleum and the new tub. TACKY!!! .I sent pictures to the owner who said someone would be back out to fix this. It has been over a month and no one has been out. It is just as well because today I was cleaning the tub area, using a soft cloth and water and the caulk started pealing off on to the cloth. I want to add that the young men who came out to do the plumbing work were he highlight of the experience. They were polite professional and worked hard.

Everything went very well Patrick, is a very professional and knowledgeable about his craft and helpful when I asked different questions regarding plumbing. The quality of work is excellent, with the personality to match. Thank you Patrick.

Our system stopped working on Thursday night. We were planning to go away on Friday and thought it would be OK for the weekend, but on Friday morning we found that the pump system was leaking and there was water all over the basement floor. We called Do-it-right at 8AM. They promised to have someone there in an hour. The guys showed up in 45 minutes, quickly diagnosed the problem, went to get a replacement pump, returned, installed it and were gone 2 hours after I placed the call. Our weekend away was saved. The guys that came were pleasant, courteous and very professional. I would call Do-it-right for any plumbing job in the future. Excellent work, excellent service.
