Mike of Skyline is spot on when it comes to service..He does what he says he is going to do.His team did a very nice job. When he came to check out the job he took his time to find out the problem and the best way to fix it.Over all experience was A plus.

Quick and efficient

Mike and Michael are great guys. They diagnosed the problem with my chimney, negotiated a fair price and did excellent work. Very courteous.

I requested a quote and they did not go over what they quoted. Mike and his crew was friendly, efficient and professional. They said they would finish in one day and they did just that, they even took a before and after so i didnt need to go on my roof to see their work. I would definitely recommend them to others. Multiple projects are in progress of this newly purchase estate home. The workers and service are amazing, energetic and quite efficient. We plan to use them permanently for all maintenance work, as they are skilled and their prices reasonable and work outstanding. The customer service is amazing as well! Friendly and personable, could not be more pleased! We are thrilled !

I set up an appointment with Skyline Maintenance because my chimney cap kept falling off. Michael from Skyline did a full assessment and found that the top of my chimney was crumbling, many of the bricks were broken and the mortar was deteriorating almost all the way down the chimney! He took pictures of the top of the chimney to further explain the issues and showed me exactly where the repairs needed to be made. Due to all the broken bricks, the interior clay flue lining was also in disrepair. He and his crew worked professionally to repair all the bricks, patch up mortar holes and install a metal flue liner to prevent further degradation of the clay flue liner. His crew provided excellent workmanship and my chimney almost looks like new! He also warranties his work. I would recommend using Skyline for any of your masonry needs.

Other companies either asked for photos or barely looked at the damage to my chimney brick thirty feet above the ground. One asked me what I wanted them to do. Estimates varied by $3000. Skylight got up and looked and discussed with me what should be done. Day of service the technician said the chimney should be pointed and joints between materials should be caulked. The added cost was more than offset by the experience and assurance the extra work would bring. Communication was excellent throughout. This is customer- and result-centeted work.

Terrible experience! Stay away

We hired them to replace our old pipes and chimney. The guy who came by to do the work seemed to be in a rush to get home. He did not secure the pipes properly and after we lit our first fire there was smoke leaking out from the pipes. We have babies in the house and this was scary. We called their office and they said they would fix it. He came back the next day with an attitude and bluntly told us that he was in a rush and that is why he did not complete the job. We do not know why he said he was done and took the money when he knew he was not done. He was not too clear with the fire safety codes and put a short chimney that led to smoke going straight into our second-floor windows. He was also dishonest and lied about replacing one of the parts and just spray painted over the old part (we know because the dents and the screw holes of the previous braces were still evident). The worker who came with him also mentioned to us that he just painted over. When we confronted him, he stuck to his lie claiming it was brand new and the factory made this and gave it to him. He also asked us to pay in cash to get a discount. When we called the office, they said check is fine and there is no cash discount as such. After he claimed to have completed the job the second time, we noticed creosote leaking from between the pipes. Having lost faith in that particular worker, the company agreed to send in another person. The second person was a lot better and fixed and touched up all the work that was done. He extended the chimney to the right height and also leveled it. I am sure if he had come the first time, we would not have had a bad experience. I think the company cares about the customer and about getting the job done and that is why I did not give a one star rating. But they do have some really poor technicians (or at least one) that are not trained well, dishonest and do a really poor job.

Came early, went straight to work. Explained everything in detail complete with pictures. Fair pricing and estimates on other work that I needed done. Will defiantly use them again.

They did excellent job, professional and friendly. They were very late to my appointment, but they were responsive. Finished work better than I expected.

Working with Skyline was excellent!! Working with Kathy to schedule my appointment and the work Mike and Ron did was excellent!! I would hire them back without hesitation!!!

They are not in Weatchester often so appointments are limited. The first appointment I had no one called to let me know that they weren?t going to be able to come that day I waited an extra hour and called to ask what was going on. The re-schedule they showed up an hour after the 9-11 slot but did call to tell me they were running late. I had scheduled a chimney clean and dryer vent cleaning and the gentleman, while very kind, didn?t have the tools for the dryer vent so we couldn?t get that done. All employees were very kind but just dropped the ball a few times. Chimney cleaning cost $125

Excellent service

Job was done quickly. Both guys were nice and easy to work with.

The workers were prompt, professional and knowledgeable and they cleaned the area and removed all the refuse.
