Mr. Meyer initially came to the house for a free security consultation. He spent a good amount of time explaining what was needed and did not try to upsell any additional products or services. Compared to a couple of other companies, we decided to use his service. He is very knowledgable about his products. He explained different scenarios and made sure we are comfortable with it. He answered all our questions and has a great sense of humor!

Mitch Meyer was professional and courteous throughout the whole process. He evaluated our situation and offered different suggestions. He was honest about our needs and didn't try to sell me an expensive, complex, unnecessary system. At the initial installation appointment, we ran into some problems with our cell phone connections. Mitch needed to return at a later agreed upon date after figuring out what needed to be done to remedy the situation. The installation was completed. Mitch took all the time I needed to help me understand how to use the system. Mitch was always punctual, easy to reach by phone, anxious to answer any questions - no matter how stupid - I may have posed to him. I would highly recommend True Value and definitely use them again.

Mitchell rocks. I'm very late in writing this review for him and I feel badly about it. He was so very prompt, caring, instructive, etc. I was clueless and never had an alarm system, so he patiently walked me through everything. I have not had one problem with the system because of any installation issues and when the very rare and mysterious tweak comes up, Mitchell is always on the other end of the phone talking me through what I need to do. He has shown up on very little notice and I know that he would again. He makes it very clear in phone conversations that he is available and ready to show up to save the day if he ever needs to. I can't say enough good things about him. Hire him.

When I first called, I knew this was the company for me. Mitchell answered the phone and spent 20 minutes answering all my questions. He then came to my house to give me a free estimate. He never once pressured me and even steered me away from certain products that he felt I did not need. He was very honest, and the price was very reasonable. He then came to my home on Presidents day and spent the whole day here. The work was more involved then originally thought so he came back 2 days later (at my convenience) to finish the job. He didn't even think of charging me more as he said the original price would stay regardless of how much he had to work. He then went over the whole system with me and explained everything. I really felt that Mitchell cares. He is just a nice guy who really enjoys what he does and from talking to him, is proud of his work and his company. The is by far one of my best interactions with a company I have had.

Called Mitchell for an analysis of alarm security needed for home. He arrived promptly the same day I telephoned. After reviewing situation, we arrived at what was needed. Scheduled installation for a few days later. Mitchell installed the system, answering my many questions as he worked. He patiently showed me how to operate it. Was extremely neat as he worked. After a number of hours the system was installed, and he was on his way.

Can't say enough good things about Mitchell, the owner. He is professional, dedicated and always available. He came to my house, gave me a competitive estimate, and i ended up using him to install a wireless security system in my entire house. He did the entire job in one day, the workmanship is good, and the system seems to be working great. As he was installing, and since, we have encountered a few problems related to the hardware (cell phone communications errors/faulty speaker). He is incredibly responsive, and each time he scheduled a time to fix the problem within 24 hours. There was never any charge for coming back out to fix things, and he always was able to get things back in order. You know how, sometimes when you use a big company, you end up having to call a bunch of times to get anything done. Or you end up arguing about why things are broken, or whose fault it is, or when they can schedule a time to come out. And then they give you a 6 hour window and send dome doofus out to fix things, but he can't ever fix them? Mitchell is the exact opposite of that. 100% recommendation.

Mitchell the owner and installer of my central station alarm walked around my home and suggested what needed to be done according to my needs and gave me an informal quote as far as the price. I decided to have Mitchell install the alarm system because I felt that he was honest and very professional. The day he installed the alarm, he was very professional and neat. He took his time in explaining the system to me. He made sure that I was comfortable with the system before leaving, and indicated to me that if I had any questions with the system he was available and had no problems with helping me. It was important to him that as a customer, he wanted me to be happy. So far, so good!

Mitchell answered our call at a time of the evening when no one else did. He responded to our pressing needs right away. He and his team performed all the work professionally and efficiently. They were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them.

Installer/owner Mitch was very professional and explained every thing including how to terminate prior the other company's service without penalty. I agreed to a 3 yr contract with True Value; The system has been working very well for the past two years. What is very nice is that if someone is still sleeping in the bedroom and you get up to let the dogs out and disarm the alarm from the living room there is no annoying beep which the old system had.

It went well. I liked the personalized service. I can call the owner directly if I need anything. He has a high standard for service.

My husband and I were interested in equipping our house with a new security system, so we set up appointments with a few of the most highly-ranked companies. As soon as we met Mitchell Meyer (the owner of True Value Security Systems), we knew that he was the one we wanted to perform the job. During our initial meeting, Mitchell took the time to explain EVERYTHING to us -- from our many equipment options, to how a system operates, and everything else in between. It became very apparent that Mitchell loves what he does and is extremely knowledgeable. We appreciated the fact that Mitchell did not try to up-sell us on anything. In fact, he actually found ways for us to save money without compromising the integrity of the system. We were also struck by his attention to detail. For example, Mitchell made it a point to find colored door contacts that would blend seamlessly with our new entry door. This is an option that no other company even mentioned to us, but it definitely makes a huge difference aesthetically!! When it came time for the installation, Mitchell accommodated our busy schedule by coming late on a weeknight. He and his installer did a very careful job, ensuring that everything looked perfect and functioned correctly. Mitchell helped us link the system to our computers and smartphones, and showed us how to operate the touch-screen control panel. By the time he left, my husband and I both felt comfortable using the new system. We have now been using our security system for a couple of months, and we absolutely love the peace of mind that it gives us. So far, it has been functioning flawlessly. However, if we ever do encounter an issue, we feel very comfortable knowing that Mitchell is only a phone call away!

Mitchell initially came by and walked me through all of my options. We were looking for a basic, hardwired alarm system. He was very knowledgeable and thorough, explaining everything. He stressed that his company is customer service oriented and that if there is a problem he will deal with it personally, which I like. He then came back a few days later for the install with his technician. Everything went very smoothly even though the house was extremely hot and humid inside. After everything was installed and working, he then gave myself and my wife a tutorial on how to use the alarm system. Very good overall service and very happy with the work. Would recommend.

He answered my call and came over and gave me the estimate. He started work soon after with a worker, and he didn't leave until late at night when all was finished.

I have never posted a review on Angie's List before, but Mitchell of True Value Security was incredible, so I wanted to let others know. After buying a house, my wife and I attempted to reach out to multiple security/home-alarm companies in the area for a quote. Mitchell was AMAZING at responding to emails and phone calls and patiently walked us through the process of ordering the system, installing it, and using the alarm system, answering a bevy of our questions along the way. He also made sure to explain all of the costs and options at his disposal, without pressuring us to get a unit we did not need. He customized a system for our property and I am beyond thrilled to have gone with him. Mitchell Meyer didn?t have the lowest bid, but there was no question about whether or not to go with him. There was only a few days from accepting the bid to having a fully functional security camera. Now, I can see every angle of the shop anywhere at anytime 7 days a week. Mitchell helped with technical assistance well after the check was cashed. He diligently followed through on his vow to make sure I was happy with all aspects of the system. The best thing about True Value Security is confidence I feel knowing I can call Mitchell directly and he?ll see to it that any problems will be resolved quickly.

Mitch first visited to see our home and recommended which windows and doors needed to be alarmed. He and his crew came a few days later. They arrived on time, installed the full system, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. After the installation, Mitch also mailed us some extra magnets so we could open a few more windows a bit with the alarm activated.

The owner Mitchell is extremely responsive and he and his staff are very knowledgeable. During installation he went out of his way to make sure we understood the equipment choices and matched the equipment to our needs. His staff is very through and once they had the new componets installed they checked and rechecked the system. I felt completely confident with the quality of the work done. I have had the service for over a year and Mitchell has been always been there if you have a question or a problem. The service is outstanding and I am extremely happy.

I switched over to True Value in November 2012 and couldn't be happier. Whenever I call Mitchell or the monitoring station I am met with courtesy and professionalism. I have only had minor issues with my system (which was installed by another company) the last 2 years, but it's never a problem because I know I can call and get them resolved right away. Mitchell was great and responsive, explaining every detail. He even came back to hid a wire that was bothering me and he was always polite and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of security upgrades.
