Went very well, very clean and professional I would recommend them

After getting an estimate, I decided to proceed with the repairs. They had a competitive price and good reviews on Angie's List, and that tipped my decision in my favor. They arrived on time on the day the repairs were scheduled. The crew was extremely professional, and explained that they had to break holes in the walls in several locations in the house in order to get the liner all the way down to the basement. Where the holes were made, they were rebricked. It took two days to complete the project, and I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of the work, and would definitely use them again.

B&P arrived at my home on time. Provided no pressure price quote. Performed work in a professional manner.

A lot of contractors don't take small jobs or price them ridiculously high just to let you know they are not interested. B & P Chimney are just the opposite. They came on time, went up on the roof, inspected the chimney and gave me the price estimate. I told them to go ahead and in less than 1 hour from their arrival the job was finished and all debris removed.

It went as expected with no surprises and no issues. Paul came and inspected chimney, advised what was needed and provided price. Appointment was made for the work. They arrived on schedule and did the work unobtrusively. All went as expected. Would wish for this kind of effort and result every time I get work done on the house.

We called several places but these guys were available within a day to come and review the chimney flu. We needed to get it lined. I have no point of reference on whether they were expensive or not, the other company that quoted was in the same range. They were about 30 mins late the morning of the repair but they weather was dreadful so I'll give them a little break on that. they did everything they said they'd do and I would definitely use them again.

They did a good job with the chimney sweep. The chimney cap was not installed properly and it ultimately wasn’t the cap that I purchased. They agreed to use a specific model of a chimney cap but used something else. They did not make the situation right. The issue never came to closure and I never contacted them again. They do good sweep work and if one asks for anything else they may not get what they asked for. I had leaks after the chimney cap was put in and we ended up having to get someone else to replace it. Their price was average.

Went well. Direct, gave feedback and suggested insert (the standard chimney sweep salespitch), but not pushy. Pointed out a couple of potential problems regarding corrosion. Overall, appeared professional and I would use them again.

The chimney cleaning was fine but I was disappointed with B & P Chimney Cleaning & Repair because when they told me I needed a chimney cap I believed them only to find out subsequently to find out there was one on there already which wasn't broken. I thought it was a scam since they tried to sell me something that I didn't need and proceeded to ask me if they could take back the cap that was supposedly wasn't there in the first place.

From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. They arrived on time, did the work that need to be done in a timely fashion and gave us some useful tips.

My experience with B & P Chimney was wonderful from begining to end. I'm sure I will use their services again. Paul answered every single question I had and was extremely helpful.

We asked for an estimate to repair a clogged chimney. We were told there was no chimney sleeve, and that it would cost $1800 to install one. That seemed a little high, so we contacted a second company. The second contractor told us that there was, in fact, a sleeve in place, and the problem was not an obstruction in the chimney at all. Essentially, the contractor tried to perform a service we didn't need, which would not have fixed the problem. It turned out that the problem wasn't with the chimney at all, but with the way our furnace had been vented.

Very well, Chimney Care drove down (and back) at least 80 miles and only left when we were completely satisfied with the joy

They were very prompt. The thing that I disliked was the man in charge did not get on the roof to look at the chimney, instead he sent up the man with him. I was disappointed that the person in charge did not go up there. I would use them again.

had chimney repair done. Replaced clay liner section and approximately 10 rows of bricks, from roof to top. Scheduled for 9 AM, I received a phone call at 8 AM informing me workers were loading up truck and would be at my house within the hour. They arrived at 820 AM---40 minutes early. They started right away and worked straight through until they were done around 2 PM, which was about 5 hours worth of work. The work came out great, no problems at all. They even came inside when they were done and vacuumed out fireplace and stack box in basement. Price was exactly as estimated month before. Great job and definitely recommend using them.

The serviceman was very polite and helpful. He explained everything, and gave a written estimate.
