B & P Chimney Cleaning & Repair

They arrived between the hours that were given to me. I paid $40 for the chimney sweep which they did a good clean job. They advised me on how often I should get a sweep and told me that I didn't need a liner because my chimney was in good shape. I've had others try to sell me a liner but I have always refused since I know my chimney didn't need one. This showed me right away that I was dealing with an honest man. I also paid $140 for a chimney cap which for some reason mine was missing. They advised me to get one installed which I agreed to do. They did a great job! I will continue to use their service for any future needs.

This is the BEST Company to use! I had them install the new metal liners a few years back and chimney caps. I have B&P clean my chimney's every year. Don't mess with chimney's get them cleaned out every year in early fall. You run a system or fireplace with a dirty or clogged chimney you will have a ton of problems. Anyway, B&P team is always friendly and informative. Paul and Bobby come within the time-frame noted they are clean and lay down drop clothes and do a great job! My compliments to this company and I am confident you will be satisfied too!

Excellent experience all around. The owner paul came for the initial site visit. He was a pro and an honest guy. He steered me away from unneeded work and pointed out no sales tax needed per law. Other companies i checked out were not as honest. This is what won me over vs another qualified competitor. Good price also which is what put b&p in the lead initially He also showed up on the day of the job to ensure all was going well and to make sure i understood what was happening. One thing i wonder after the fact is quality of the liner, they used 316L s/s and a heavy gauge one, which is very good from what I've read. I read 316 Ti is better though. Their competitor also was going to use the 316L type though also so I suppose what i got is at least standard for the job. Overall very happy, and I'd recommend b&p.

I was very happy with the job they did for me. They inspected the chimney, gave me a written estimate and agreed on date to do the work. They came with 3 men on the day of appointment, took down the old chimney from the roof line and built a new brick one with cap. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything when the work was completed. Very professional and polite. Great overall experience.

I think the price was excellent, the service was good. I was told what was needed to done and the condition of the Chimney. There was no pressure to buy anything or up-sell, even the soot was taken away . I will definitely use them again to rebuild the stack next year.

They did an excellent job. It seems to be cheaper. They're great in everything. I will definitely recommend them. I would use them again in the future.

B & P were very professional, polite, and efficient. The company seemed organized and responsive. They sent a team of three men to clean all of the chimneys in our building in one day--it took about 2-3 hours and it went very smoothly. The price was lower than others quoted. We could not have asked for a better experience.

2 workers came on time. They were very efficient and well manner. It took 2hours or so to compleat that tusk , and I was very satisfied their works. B& P office worker was also very nice to let me know updating of estimated arrival time of workers.

They put a metal liner inside of he clay liner and put insulation between the clay liner and metal liner so the condensation would stop. And they replaced about 20 bricks, they did pretty good job. The service they provided was fairly priced and they cleaned up when they were done.

I understand that they’re busy, but a little courtesy goes a long way. I have bricks loose and detached in my chimney, and I really need some help. If you’re going to be on the List, it would make sense to be more responsive to homeowners.

B & P was recommended by home inspector. Receiving an estimate from the actual owner means a lot. Communication and service was great!!!! Day of service exceeded our expectation, even though it took approx. 5 hours to complete you would never have guessed it, they left the area spotless. I will definitely recommend and will use them in the future for other services.

Service was good, cost more than I expected to pay, had two visits. Tech was very good, personable, clean, helpful, punctual and knowledgeable. Office help was friendly and helpful. I gave a B on price as I thought the work, instead of 2 visits, could have been done in 1 visit and would have been lower. But the service was very good, I would use them again if needed.

Bob Greene schedule appointment within 24 hours of calling. He provide thorough explanation of problem and save me $$$ because issue was caused by new furnace installed which was still under service contract.

This was a very expensive mistake on my part, not to hire B & P in the first place. While I think they were terribly expensive for this particular job, at least I know the job is finished correctly in the basement.

They were punctual and did a good job cleaning. Then he told me I needed a new door on my outside trap. He proceeded to tell me it was $250. Not knowing the cost I agreed, and I found out later the part was $80 retail, and he charged me $250 to place into an existing cut out, and glue it with silicone...5 minutes while his guy was cleaning the chimney. So he ripped me off on the upsell, my fault for agreeing. I would not trust this company, they ripped me off. If u want them to just clean your chimney they did that well, just dont let him sell you anything else, they'll rip you off. Update: He did say the installation was simple and GE will refund $50. I did ask for $100 back as the installation literally took 5 minutes. Kind of expensive hourly rate

I met with one of the owners of the company and he was great. Everything that they told me that they were gonna do they did and they did it time to time. They were professional and they cam in and did what they have to do. It took them one day and everything was done. I would recommend them to anybody.

Were prompt and professional. Completed the job quickly and cleanup was good.

I was told by 3 different brick pointing companies that my chimney needed total repair and pointing because of a leak inside the house over the window. But these companies did not take a ladder to the roof and examine it. One of them diagnosed my problem through pictures sent via e mail. B and P came over, pulled out the ladder and examined the roof. He found that my gutter was full of debris and that it was holding water. That was causing the leak. While he was up there, I had him cap my chimney and remove an old antenna. He was fair with me and didn't try to take advantage of my ignorance. I really appreciated that.

After I had my Gas Heating Burned serviced i was informed by the Technician that my chimney was clogged up and needed to be cleaned before i turn on my heating unit. I called B & P Chimney Cleaning and scheduled an appointment for the next week since they said this is there busy season and couldn't get anyone here today. About a half hour later i received a call from B & P and they said they could get someone to me today, so we set a time frame and they arrived within that frame. The Technician checked my Chimney from the roof to the basement, gave me a price, which i accepted. He cleaned out the Chimney, explained to me why it got clogged and that i would need to have it checked every year. He also suggested that i have a Chimney Cap installed to help keep the debris out. So i had him also install the Cap for me. I was very satified with there response time, service, and clean up. I would and will use them again when needed and i would recommend them to others.

It turned out that I did not have to use the service.
