The first sliding door installed was crooked, and their were several pieces missing. The door appeared to be built incorrectly. Window World agreed the door was not quite right, and ordered a new door. When the second door was installed it was still not level. The installers were not professional, and told us that the quality control had been lacking in the factory lately, as there was big demand from Super storm Sandy. The grid inside the glass rattled back and forth when you slid the door open and closed - very cheaply made. I called Window World and told them I didn't want their door, and wanted my money back. A Manager insisted that they would make it right, and they ordered another door. We changed the type grid we had wanted, because they told us that they all rattle, really?? The Manager came onsite for the last installation. When they pulled the door out, there had been no pan installed under the door, which they did this time. The molding pieces that were missing were installed, and after several attempts to level the door, they got it right. Still don't have a lock for the sliding screen, but we were just happy to be done with WW. There was a big gap next to the sliding door and the siding, which only after I asked, did they fill with caulk! This door is just not of good quality. You have to close it a few times, before it can be locked.

Harold was my saleperson. He arrived on time, was extremely informative, professional and a pleasure. He took the time to go over all the details of the product, provided suggestions and explained the history of the company and the product guarantee. My windows are on order and have not been installed as of yet. So far my experience has been positive.

Based on the good rating on Angie's List, we made an appointment for replacing a few windows with energy efficient glass. A representative showed up in time, and we spend ca. 90 minutes. He measured the windows and left an estimate. I called again for going ahead with replacing just 2 of the discussed windows. The salesman R. Burwasser had to come again to pick up a 50% deposit check, telling me that a technician would have to come to measure specifically those windows. That gentlemen showed up as promised and measured. I was told, the windows would be made within 3 weeks and then installed. So far, so good. A few days after that appointment, I received a phone call advising me that one of those windows, a 19 inch diameter octagon window, could be be made, and suggesting that perhaps I want another type of window installed. Upon this outcome, I cancelled my assignment of this job for obvious reasons: if 2 people were at the house, assuming they know what they seek and install since years, they should not give me that information after getting the job and the deposit! This lack of transparency is reason enough not to recommend this company. However, they returned my deposit in a timely fashion.

My experience was great. They were prompt and timely for the appointment. It took them the whole day to repair one side of the house. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves.

They were quick and professional. In about one hour all windows were installed. Everything was cleaned up.

From my first appointment with the salesman to the installation of my windows, this was a very positive experience. I would recommend window world to my family and friends.

They did a great job and I was really happy with it. They are very courteous, professional and attentive. When I had questions to ask after contracting them they followed up and helped me. Their crew went out of their way to do certain things that I thought could not be done but they did a couple of attempts like having a door at the back of my garage. I even had some doors which were cut in a circular fashion which I thought could not be covered up with the siding and they went out of their way by trying few methods after which they were able to cover the whole work really good. They were also very good on their pricing. Their gauge of the siding and the installation along with everything was according to how I wanted. They were on time, neat and did a wonderful job of cleaning up. They cleaned everything up really good that I did not have to even rake anything at all. They even followed up and everything was really good. I would recommend them to others.

The work was done well, but one piece is coming up. I called them and they said, "They will come out and look at this," Currently the weather is holding them up on several projects.

Salesman was nice. The windows came in over a week early and they worked with me for a intallation date that was good for me eventhough it was 2 and a half weeks away. I didn't feel rushed at all. A little more expensive than there competion, but the person they sent to measure was spot on. No problems with the installation other than 1 day rain delay. Installers Cliff and Danny were neat, curtious and cleaned up everything. No problem getting them to come back when I had the window come off the track. Totally my fault I didn't have the window open enough before I tilted it in to clean them. They were here in 2 days to fix it.

The salesperson from Window World Of Long Island never got back to us with an estimate. The salesperson was okay. He had to price a column that he was going to put in the front entryway. He didn't know the price of that and he said he'd have to speak to somebody, and that's what we waited for. He said it would take a couple of days. And my wife called them after maybe three or four days, he said he was still checking. There was still no response after two or three days after that. So we went with another company.

They were good. They were professional and timely. I rate them high overall.

Overall I couldn't have asked for a better or smoother performance.

I had contacted them to replace broken replacement windows. While they were not the least expensive, they arrived on time for the estimate and when hired did exactly what was requested on time and I have not had any problems with the window or work furnished. They were also willing to do a small job. I would definitely use them again.

The salesman was professional and easily handled a difficult client (we like things to be done correctly!). The company used Jamie's crew to do the siding and was a very professional and enjoyable individual (excellent work - even in tough areas). The windows were installed with insulation in a matter of hours.It was a great experience.

I didn?t like them so much. The windows are good. They took a long time to respond. I would not use their services again in the future.

We decided not to go with them. We found them through a website, and we submitted a request for windows. They were willing to call us back for the quote. The man was nice, but we had reasons that we didn't use them. Their window product wasn't as good as the product from some other companies. We entered into a contract, but we backed out of it. He was nice in letting us back out of it. He missed the first appointment.

The contractor was always on time, very courteous & clean.

The company & it's employees were there to assist us at every step of the work. They cleaned the property entirely during & after the job was completed and left the property clean. The owner also was there to make sure that all was done correctly and to our satisfaction.

The window installers came within 1 hr. They did a very good job-they even replaced some shutters for me.
