Description of Work: Window World is the reason I signed up for Angie's list. My husband and I went in and wanted to buy basement and attic windows, a new garage door, and get an estimate for a new front door. We were shown windows and garage doors and made an appointment for an in home estimate. We received confirmation by email. On the day of measurement we waited but no one ever showed up, called or contacted us. We speculated that the job wasn't big enough for them. This provider wasted our time and delayed our project.

Description of Work: The sales process went well. Then things went down hill. It took over a week to get us a contract. Window World would not send someone out to measure in advance of the contract being signed to make up for lost time. Then after the contract was signed, it still took over a week to get someone out to measure. Our order and window installation was delayed by two weeks. We scheduled an installation date when the windows were ordered. Once the windows arrived, they would not honor the original installation date. The windows themselves are for the most part nice. The hardware in some cases is wobbly and the screens are held in by visible clips which make the windows look very cheap. The installers did an excellent job. in particular, the exterior capping work makes the house look like new. They have not honored their referral incentive. My inlaws are still waiting for a check despite numerous unanswered calls and emails to our sales person.
