Spoke with an operator who asked, name, address, phone, how many windows looking to replace and then asked what the problems with my current windows were and I said I would explain at the time of estimate. I have five windows all in separate locations and did not feel like getting into each problem-said they were old and then she asked how old. How old? I have no idea as our house is 113 years old and we have been here 25! Then she explained that all decision makers needed to be present at time of estimate. She asked if anyone else resided at my home. I said I did not have to answer that as I am the decision maker and I would be present. She then tried to get me to answer the question again to which I replied I did not have to answer this question. She then said the computer was showing someone named George residing here and did he, in fact, live here. Now I became so angry and again, said I did not have to answer this question as I was the decision maker here and I would be present. At this point I asked to speak to a supervisor who tried, not very effectively, to explain why they needed to know this. I guess I know why they need to know this. So they can try to close the sale at the time of estimate and I guess they think women need their husbands present in order to make a decision. Also they probably do not want to explain things a second time. I found these questions invasive, sexist and insulting. I told the supervisor none of this was her fault as Im sure it was the policy of the company. I told her the operator should have stopped asking questions once I said I was the decision maker and would be present. I will now deal with Pella Windows as I have always done, just thought Andersen might have been a bit cheaper. Never again!

I've used them three times and the first two times were phenomenal. The third time there was a problem with ordering wrong window and when they came out here, there was an argument between the technician, the sales person and myself. I have half windows and they said it couldn't be done, whereas my neighbor had it done. They wanted another 10000$ to do the other one and I said no. So they went back and forth and they sent three technicians to sell it and we finally had the windows put up. The products are phenomenal and the installation was good. When they ordered the wrong size window and I had to disrupt my office since I work from my home. I had to dismantle all my computer stuff. But they rectified and reimbursed me 150$ which I appreciate. They did their job, but there was so much back and forth.

These guys have a 3 WINDOW MINIMUM. Otherwise they will not do the job. Prices are astronomical. Didn't get the job done. They proceeded to call and leave me sales messages for the next few months. Not cool.

These are wonderful windows that not only look great but have made a difference in how cold the room is. I actually had these windows installed in the coldest part of the house and I can say they have passed the test. Install was wonderful. Guys were on time and a pleasure to have in my home. They were neat and everything looks great! Only downside at all is how much these windows cost. there is just now way I could do the whole house at these costs. But you do get what you pay for and these are great windows.

The installers were very good. They covered my floors and hallways in the common areas with heavy duty paper. They even put plastic on the ground outside my building to catch the debris from the electric saw; and they vacuumed after they were done. They answered any questions I had. I was very impressed with the quality of work done.

installation was schedule on 5/27, but on that day no one show up, then i called them and they said there is some mistake with my name on the record? I was not quite understanding. they said might need to reschedule to next week or so, but they called back later to schedule on 5/29 For the installation it was fast, the quality was fine except 1: some scratch in one window, then later they replaced the glass for me 2: found out later one window in kitchen the glass does not fit the frame well so i can see a gap between the inside frame and glass, not sure if it can cause leakage of air, I do not have a chance to call them yet regarding this. 3: some windows were installed without good size frames outside, not quite like what was before, then we raised the request to restore previous frame size design and looking, then they sent someone to fix it and look fine now. 4: another issue is they damaged my window onion at the first installation time and also took pictures of the damage and promised to show to his manager, but I NEVER got an official response for this even after a couple call inquiries later on

Prices are ridiculous. They bash their own parent company Anderson new construction windows during their 1 hour sales pitch. They then throw an astronomical price at you and tell you that if you sign up and make the purchase right now it'll be astronomically discounted lower (instant rewards I believe they call it), but if you need time to think about it and cannot make a decision that day you will lose the discount and can never ever get it back again because they put your information into a scary database which tells them that you've already received an estimate and are no longer eligible for the "instant rewards" (which in my case was about a $10,000 discount). Not my style.

They were very good from beginning to end.

The quality and workmanship was excellent however the price was outrageous.

They were quick they installed the last five windows in about 5 hours and they left the place as clean as it was before they started. The worst thing that I could find was on the previous install, I did not do this in a single installation they left a screw loose on a window crank which was a 5 second fix. They are more expensive than other windows but you are clearly getting what is being. paid for the quality is outstanding.

They were great, came in bad weather and worked all day in terrible weather to complete job. Had to come back for a few minor adjustments. Very prompt in their service, and courteous.

my husband and I found him to be very rude- the whole experience was bad. We never did get a quote/proposal -- and then he questioned us about other things

Workmen were extremely neat and did not leave a single speck of dust behind them. New windows are fabulous and the house is much more energy efficient.

They came on time and did a professional installation in a short time. I would recommend them. You just have to work hard with the salesmen to get the best price.

Excellent quality of windows and excellent job installating.

The windows were done within 3 days, - cleanup was excellent - very caring workers - they were efficient, polite and happy! They covered everything up with plastic - ripped out 27 windows (I think) caulking, re insulate 102+ % ripped out some of the existing window weights that were never removed in the past - they framed out my bay window to perfection! Words cannot express how EXCELLENT they were - my heating bills were literally cut in half - cannot hear noise outside - I highly recommend these windows! I forgot their names - but two fellows were Italian - and the other gentlemen was a black man - very caring and extremely polite - The salesman's name was John - he was very polite and worked with our budget! You can use our name as reference! EXCELLENT WINDOWS - I apologize it took me a year to tell you all they are fantastic!!!

Mike and his helper arrived on time and were a joy to work with. They were pleasant, helpful and professional. The cleanup was superb and the job was perfect and flawless. ACA is a first class electric firm and would strongly to friends and family. John Hickey

They had worked with us on the cost of the windows since they had replaced other windows in the house. This was the second job, they did for us, so we had been pleased enough to hire them again. They did a professional job each time and the windows are beautiful and work great!

We visited the showroom to see the windows. The salesman set up an appointment to visit us at home. We wanted the windows yet he still did his whole sales pitch--unnecessary. A gentleman was coming to measure a day or two later and I was becoming anxious about the cost. The measurer actually made me feel more comfortable about the purchase and so we moved forward. The windows were installed in one day without much fuss. The windows are beautiful and since then we had the res of the house done too.

The salesman was polite enough and knew his product. We were shocked by the price. Casement window for my dining room was $4300.00 and nothing special at all. Would not even consider this company again.

Just as last year the process was smooth as silk. We were able to set up both the sales and measuring appointments at our convenience and the windows were ready in just a few weeks. The installation took about five hours. The two installers were superb--professional, courteous, CLEAN!!!, and efficient. We would again recommend this merchant to anyone who wants to replace old inefficient windows with new, efficient and attractive ones.

The ordering / sales part could have been shorter. The product pretty much sells itself.

It was very, very good. The price was high for them. We need windows so we had no other choice. They were on time. Whenever they had an appointment, they were on time. They cleaned up the place nice. Overall I was happy with them.

Friendly, knowledgeable sale professionals and installers. I love the fact that the windows are sold, manufactured, installed and serviced all by the same company. I've dealt with other home improvement companies where the guy who did the installation blames the product manufacturer and the manufacturer blames the installer. Andersen's been around for a long time so I know if I ever have a problem (which I don't) they'll back it up. They're not the cheapest product out there, but this is my home and I'm a firm believer that "you get what you pay for".
