They were courteous and fast-it was pointed out to me via pics that there was excessive rust and that looking into replacing my old components with rust-proof ones were suggested. I was happy with the service they provided me.

Oscar sounded very busy when I called him because he was not at my home at the time of the appointment. I told him that we were waiting for him. He said that he was delayed but, he will make it in 1/2 hour. He did come to my house in 1/2 hour and spent about 25 minutes cleaning he chimney top to bottom with a helper. Once he completed the work he told me about previous work done on the fireplace incorrectly and that the chimney was not cleaned properly before. He apologized again for not being on-time and did not charge me because he felt it was inappropriate to have me waiting. Oscar was very professional on his services and cleaned the entire area well. I will definitive hire him again.

It went great. They were really accommodating to our requests and very punctual even though we changed our appointment a couple of times.

Oscar was extremely responsive and he was able to come the same day I called. He was punctual, very polite, very thorough and very clean. If I was able to give him an A + rating, I would have done so. He also does masonry work when needed. I would highly recommend Quality 1st Maintenance to anyone in need of chimney service and repair.

Oscar came by on time and within moments I knew i chose the right company. He arrived and got right to work after he set my expectations. He was clean and courteous swept the chimney inspected and sucked up all the soot while me and my toddler watched. Oscar is a great guy and id do business with him again.

Oscar was professional and helpful, his quote was very reasonable compared to the 4 we got. He and his crew showed up on time, were very professional and worked their tails off. He ended up having to rebuild more of the chimney than planned but did not charge extra. He recommended a new liner and worked with our budget to get it done. He was patient in answering a lot of dumb questions on my part and explaining what they were doing. We had a little mess afterwards on the front roof and they missed one course of bricks, but he followed up and had both situations taken care of in a fairly prompt manner. He was a joy to work and it was a pleasant experience, we would love to use his services again.

This was a fantastic experience! A couple of weeks before our house was listed for sale, it became apparent that the front stoop had been damaged by the long, icy winter, and at least two courses of steps were loose and unsafe. Oscar responded immediately to an estimate request, drove the fair distance to our house and gave us a competitive price. It was in line with other estimates, but just a bit lower. What really made me give him the job was his willingness to work within our tight time frame. He and a helper showed up as promised, on time, and did a highly professional job. Went well beyond what I'd thought would be done (filling the deep cracks) and removed the bricks, cleaned off the old mortar, reseated at least two & maybe three courses of bricks, and remortared. That would have been sufficient to get a good review from me. But they went above & beyond... Leading up to our stoop is a brick walk with lots more steps. A couple of days before Oscar arrived to fix the stoop, movers schlepped many heavy items down those steps and broke a couple. I pointed them out to Oscar and asked if he could fix them, as well, for an additional payment. Made it clear that I understood this was extra, unplanned work and that I was completely willing to pay more just to get them done. Oscar not only fixed the extra steps, but he refused any extra payment for them! I was astonished and grateful for his generosity, and really glad to have all of this work done so well in time for our house to be inspected by potential buyers. As a finishing touch, Oscar & his helper cleaned up thoroughly, and they even coiled our garden hose neatly. Both men were very pleasant and courteous, and a true pleasure to interact with. I recommend Oscar and his services highly! We had a lot of contractors in & out over the course of a year's preparation for selling our house, and Quality 1st Maintenance was one of the best!

They showed up on time. Chimney and flues were cleaned. They took a video of the exterior of the chimney and showed me missing bricks and mortar. For once, a chimney cleaner didn't try to sell me a drop in liner. He gave me a quote on repointing the chimney which was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

This window is hard to write in on my ipad. Not ipad friendly, so I have to be brief. They were great very easy to communicate with and did a great job.

Oscar was easy to work with, prompt to communicate and schedule and did the work quickly and neatly.

The lining of my fireplace chimney collapsed and I was prepared to pay for a totally new chimney. When Oscar arrived he convinced me to simply replace the worn external bricks and repoint the rest, thereby saving around $1,000. if he was to rebuild the entire chimney. The next day he and his team arrived on time and only a few hours later the results were amazing! The chimney looks as if it was totally rebuilt. The team was extremely courteous and efficient. Oscar was a pleasure to work with.

They came out the next day to do an estimate. Very professional and punctual. I received a few estimates and found Quality 1st to be the most honest and knowledgeable. I scheduled the services and they arrived earlier than scheduled to start the work (which was a plus for me). They kept me up to date at every step and sent me pictures to show the work being done. They installed the flue and measured the chimney for the chase pan in about 2 hours, then came less than 24 hours later with a custom stainless steel chase pan and caps. Everything was complete in less than 24 hours.

I used the coupon to get a chimney sweep service for our newly purchased home. Quality 1st found neither chimney was lined and the chimney flue was deteriorating on the inside. We had done this job on our previous house and quality 1st was superior to the last chimney sweep we had. They were very punctual and made sure to show us all the debris that they removed from the base of the flue. There was no mess; they covered the floors with cloth and swept before they left. The entire add-on job was done in less that an hour. On top of that, it looks beautiful!!!

They checked-in to reconfirm my appt. and were very prompt, courteous and professional.

They had to dodge some of our Christmas decorations around the fireplace and took it in stride. I couldn't find any dust or dirt on the hearth or floor after they left

We used Quality 1st Maintenance for all of our chimney work. We dealt with the owner, Oscar who is very professional and honest. They did all the maintenance and restoring of our chimney. We needed bricks re-cemented and a chimney cap placed (bought the house without one -opps.) They also thoroughly cleaned our chimney and installed our glass fireplace doors on the inside which helped us to get rid of a smokey smell that we kept getting. The work was done quickly and clean. We would recommend that anyone that needs outdoor work to their house to use Quality 1st Maintenance. Professional, reliable and honest.

Everything went like clockwork. The company was on time, very professional and very clean. It was such a pleasure to feel comfortable with my decision. i would highly recommend them. They were polite. The price was very good and they came recommended to me so that also made me feel comfortable. i would use them again for other jobs or improvements i wish to do with my home.
