I really liked the fact that I ordered and bought a glass shower door and then things changed so I decided I was not going to use that glass shower door and they actually gave me a full refund. It was months later and I was extremely happy about it. The only reason I did not get my bathroom done was because there were some reviews that I did not like what I read. When I went to their store, I did not have any complaints; they treated me well. They went above and beyond, it was a special order, and without any hassle what so ever they gave me a complete refund. I was pretty happy with them.

First of all, the counter top went in on time and was done perfectly. The back-splash is where our dissatisfaction came in. During the back-splash selection, it was implied that because our tile choice was a regularly stocked item by their vendor, unused marble tiles could be returned if not used on back-splash project. They estimated extra tile in case it would be needed. When project was finished, there was an unopened box plus some pieces. They would not allow return of unopened box of marble tile. My feeling is if you are going to pay for an unopened box of marble tile, you should buy on-line where the product is the same but the price is lower.

Excellent. Prompt, professional, courteous. I found a small leak after the plumber left, called McKenna's, and he came back within an hour & fixed it.

We did a major home renovation to our house a few years ago, doubling the size of our kitchen and adding a new master bedroom and master bathroom. After extensive shopping around ("extensive" doesn't really convey all the hours we spent looking), we had McKenna's do the work and were totally impressed with them. So when we decided to renovate another full bathroom we shopped around for a bit but decided that McKenna's was still the best in the area. While we first went to the one in Todd Mart Plaza, we liked the selection and atmosphere better at the Fairport location. Scott, our salesperson, is the best at being accommodating and making sure our experience went smoothly. We got as much attention as we wanted and needed even though it was a rather small job for them. When they came to put in the vanity, they realized that it needed a thin filler to allow for clearance of the door. We didn't have to make a new appointment or wait days before the vanity was fully installed. They explained the problem, left and shortly returned with a filler to complete the job the same afternoon that they started it. Would we use them again? Absolutely.

I didn't like that I pay him in hours for a service call, but off course that is typical. He gave me very good advice and he spent quite a bit of time looking at the things that I needed to have done. I would not hire him for any more work. Not on the basis of anything that he did or did not do, but because of the cost of most of the items that McKenna has, which are higher end and I am unwilling to put in because I plan to be moving. I don't want to replace things in here with high-end things. I have nothing against McKenna. I have always been happy with their services. I would use them again as a provider, but not on the thing that I've called them for. I have no complaints against them at all. I will be calling them if I have my septic tank cleaned again.

It took five full week days but the old tub was a very large corner unit and the house very old so quite a job! Jim and Mike did the work and they were great. Worked all day every day, very pleasant and knowledgable. Ashley was my salesperson and she was great too. She was very helpful with design, colors, etc. and worked with me to accommodate my tight budget. I'm very pleased with the end result and price was comparable to the one day acrylic quotes I received. Gary, the project manager who did the measuring and pricing was on time and very knowledgable. While not Mr. Personality he was fair and responsive.

Dan did a great job! We had a small leak after the remodel, about 2 years afterwards, and they came out a couple of times trying to find it. They found it eventually and fixed it and didn’t charge us because the leak was due to a small caulking error in the shower. They were very responsive in fixing the error.

It went fine. We were out shopping and stopped in at their show room, found what we were looking for. It was on sale, and we purchased the floor model. They delivered it a week later. We had to order the trim pieces, and McKenna's were very good about ordering them, and when they were there we went and picked them up. (Crown molding, filler strip, and shoe molding.)

The designer, Armand was great! Very responsive to our questions and calls. We were replacing our existing kitchen cabinets with only a couple of slight changes. He helped us streamline the process and think outside the existing kitchen. Instead of deep cabinets that are hard to get things in and out of the back, he asked if we wanted deep drawers. Oh so happy we agreed to the drawers. Everything is easy to access now. We did the installation ourselves, and ran into a slight hitch with ourtwo cabient island. Armand asked a couple of questions, and told us exactly how to install the two cabients so that the plywood back fit perfectly. He didn't oversell us anything, we had the right amount of trim, kickboard, and molding. The project was much easier with the help of a professional designer. On top of that, whenever I called him, he always asked about my spouse's recovery after surgery. He's just a good guy.

The countertop was exactly what we were looking for, and it was installed correctly and on time. Our issue, however, was when we went in for the initial consultation for finding an estimate for the job. We walked into the show room and were more or less ignored by the staff for 15 minutes. We had to find the section on corian countertops ourselves, find the color we wanted by ourselves, and only confirmed that we had what we wanted when we specifically went and asked for help. This kind of service was repeated the second and third time we went in to McKenna's to find a different color and to finally accept the original estimate for the work. The girl who was assigned to our job was very nice and was very helpful in completing the payment and scheduling the job, and the company that was subcontracted to install the Corian (Solid Surfaces), was great. They were friendly, prompt, and gave us tips on maintaining and cleaning the countertop once it was installed, so we can't really complain about the job in and of itself. The biggest thing that makes us lower our rating on McKenna's is the attitude of the showroom staff when you first walk in. While they acknowledged our presence, the didn't really offer to help us find anything or consult with us. It just made us feel like they really didn't care if they got our business or not. We had to do a lot of the searching ourselves, and if we didn't already know what we were looking for (we were trying matching our current countertop), we wouldn't have known where to start or what to do. Even though we're satisfied with the job, we're going to look around elsewhere before we use McKenna's again.

They did a beautiful job and were very punctual. Very, very satisfied overall. The only problem was their underestimate of re-plumbing costs.

They provided a very rough estimate that did not seem to have much thought into it. They seemed to push us off. There was not a lot of detail, seemed like a very generic number they threw out.

The salesperson was wonderful. He spent a lot of time with us and I didn't feel rushed. We were very pleased with everything. The service was good. They came when they said they would and they finished before they said they would.

We had a cheap and poorly installed shower door (some one else did that work) that resulted in water leaking into the walls. McKenna's took out the old door, repaired all the dry wall (there was quite a bit to repair), and calked it all up. The door we purchased is very high quality. We worth the money. It looks great and hasn't leaked since.

We went to the show room TWICE and tried to have someone wait on us. We were ignored even though we waited around. No one in this show room has the time of day for you. We have two full bathrooms that we wanted estimates done for complete renovation. Basically, tear everything out and replace everything. No one seemed to care about waiting on us. Maybe they give contractors better service. But we wanted them to do the work as well.

They were very responsive, on time, and all work was performed professionally and with the expected results.

I worked with Armand at the Whitney Rd store to pick out the countertop, sink, faucet and disposal. He was very helpful in providing options and suggestions and answering questions. He let me borrow countertop samples twice to take home. He wrote up the proposal and arranged for the measurement and installation. He also collected the full payment up front before anything was scheduled. I would have preferred something more like half up front and the remainder at job completion. The Cambria Quartz counetrtops were provided by Solid Surfaces Inc. and were managed by McKenna' s. Solid Surfaces did the measurements, removed the old countertops, sink and faucet and installed the new countertops and sink. McKenna's installed the faucet, disposal and new drain line. Pete and Jim from McKenna's were especially helpful in working to determine the best option to correct the original house drain problem. The people from Solid Surfaces and McKenna's were very prompt, professional and courteous. They knew what they were doing, did excellent work and were good communicators. Jim, who did the plumbing work, was very careful regarding protecting my property and leaving it clean. He was great to talk to and explained everything he was doing. Installation was complete in less than a month after the proposal was signed. Overall it was a very good experience and we are very satisfied with our updated kitchen.

I can't say enough good things about this experience. The three plumbers who ended up either doing the work or consulting about the work were professional, knowledgeable, responsible, and gentlemen. The price was reasonable. They ended up spending two days here as each job in this 53 year old (tired) house was more involved than expected. I chose this place based on Angie's List recommendations and couldn't be more satisfied. I will definitely use them again for plumbing and am going to explore some cabinet work with them as well. Definitely an A+++ organization in my experience.

We discussed our needs, met with the contractor, came up with pricing and then choose our products. They promised within 8 weeks from order date and project was being done in weeks.

McKenna's Kitchen & Baths have all their own contractors so they don't subcontract out anything which is what I liked about it because you don't have to worry about what kind of work you may or may not be getting. They are very personable, their quality is excellent, and incredibly creative in how they redistribute the space to accommodate what I want such as lots of light and planning ahead for my husband with Parkinson's.

We went to the showroom and walked around a while before someone approached us. We explained what we were looking for and were given a perfunctory review of what was offered and told to leave our name for the estimate person to contact us. We were contacted a few days later. Compared to other contractors we spoke with, there did not seem to be interest, and perhaps our project was not big enough to generate this. We left the showroom knowing that we would not be following through with this company.
