Description of Work: Major Bath Remodel, i.e., gut Master bath; remove tub; remove existing interior wallboard; save door and window moldings; install new walls; lay new tile floor; install ceramic tile walk-in shower; install new sink; install new plumbing fixtures; install new vanity; install new in-the-wall medicine cabinet; new lighting. |- Person doing plumbing work decided to work on original copper water supply line without turning off main water valve. Original elbow that had not leaked in 40+ years broke off main feed line. Water flooded into walls and bath subfloor rushing down to first floor and basement. Relatively new oak foyer floor "cupped" as a result of water on first floor sub-floor. Fortunately, had moved personal documents stored in basement the previous day from exact area where water flooded downward. Contractor claimed oak flooring would not be damaged; not true - very slight cupping did occur. Neither job manager or salesperson followed-up. Another contractor subsequently doing other work offered the opinion that the entire foyer floor had to be replaced. Admittedly, that contractor was not a flooring "expert". |- Plumbing installer installed new blocking behind shower controls and shower head piping incorrectly; the outline of the blocking can be seen when viewed from the adjacent hallway. (Did not report to contractor; will have to somehow redo the hallway wall.) |- Subsequently noticed vanity had been damaged - this after personally unpacking unit from original shipping crate and determined that the unit was flawless upon arrival at job site. (Did not bother to report to contractor.) |- Also, wall-to-wall bedroom rug buckled at bathroom entrance which was not the case during the prior ten years. Contractor apparently did not use kicker to set rug against new bathroom entrance threshold. |- The shower tiling was well aligned. There is some flexing of the shower base. (Did not bother to report to contractor.) |-Had previously used same firm to replace two water heaters over 10+ years with excellent results. |- Reader is free to reach his/her own conclusions based on the attempt to present the facts as observed at the time of and subsequent to the work being done.

Description of Work: Proposal for Kitchen Remodeling

Description of Work: I asked to meet with someone regarding a $20,000 upgrade. Obviously, not in their wheelhouse.....not pricey enough, I guess. I felt put off on the phone from the very first contact and when I had to postpone an appointment due to illness they asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said yes. I never heard from them again. Too late...working with someone else.

Description of Work: Great company ... from Receptionist to Repair they are very polite and professional! I have used them often (each time Jim has been our service tech) and could not ask for more. Although they were unable to fix this issue with my dishwasher they did recommend someone who could.

Description of Work: I used T McKenna Plumbing to put in a drainage system.
