Description of Work: Leak from my refrigerator's freezer. The repairmen had given a time frame between 1pm and5pm to come do the repair. He showed up at 6:45pm. Looked at the freezer and asked me to boil some water for him,then took a cup of hot water and poured it on the back of the freezer behind the bottom drawer. Then he said it is fixed. The whole exercise took less than 10 minutes. Charged me $175. This is ridiculous. I don't even know if the problem is solved with the leak!

Description of Work: frig was leaking from freezer. It turned out to be a small plastic peice from the compresser. Repair man came on time and fix it in twenty minutes. Not happy about paying $200 for small plastic peice and twenty minutes of labor.

Description of Work: I called around 9AM and the repairman was here at 2:00 the same. They were great on the phone, diagnosed the problem with my washing machine over the phone. Had the part and it repaired in less than an hour. I even used their $20 coupon. Great first experiece

Description of Work: 5th avenue was terrific. They came on the same day I reported dishwasher meltdown and ordered parts, installed them in time frame they said they would. Not cheap but dependable and knowledgeable. Terrific!

Description of Work: The representative showed up on time to fix my GE dishwasher. He determined there was nothing wrong except for a pipe that was recently installed for the sink that was preventing water from leaving the dishwasher and so the dishwasher shut down. He showed me what needed to be done and I completed the sink repair myself. The dishwasher works fine now.
