I have had Falso Heating take care of my heating and A/C for the past 10 years. They are very respectful of your home and professional. They do their work fast and never leave messes at your home. I will definitely recommend them.

They are very responsible. They are very polite. They did an excellent job. There are no complications with their work.

I requested a system that could be upgraded by adding an A/C later. When questioned about whether this system was what I requested, one of the technicians refused to verify whether this system was able to accept an upgrade. They installed the furnace without delay. They struggled to drill through my basement walls to extend the requisite pipe to the outside. After installing the exhaust pipe they informed me that they would not be drilling to install the air intake pipe. I had a problem with this and was given a rude reply. I am a woman and I do not think they respond well to females. They flexible duct work was run into the addition to supplement the original vents. Two weeks later the duct work came apart. It was connected with foil tape. The job was done on Friday. As soon as they deemed they were finished with the install, they entire staff left abruptly. I felt as if they were running away from a mistake they made. No one bothered to install any device to prevent insects from entering the exhaust pipe. One minor problem occurred when I requested a different thermostat from the Falso brand they pushed on me. The tech had yet another rude comment for me. He told me that the unit would not work with another thermostat. It was a Lennox furnace. Do not accept that useless crap they are pushing. Demand your money's worth. That crappy thermostat broke after barely 4 years of use. I installed a new one from Lowes myself. In summary, the furnace was good. The service was okay. There was a total lack of professionalism and respect . I wanted a furnace that could warm my back room. I think they should have given me a stronger unit. The air is still cool once the furnace has been running a while. I told the service scheduler that I would not be using them for any other services. Every year they sent emails offering service. I finally found an email for customer service. I explained the situation and commented on the reason that I would be paying some other company to install my A/C. The service manager called immediately and apologized. He wanted to send someone to assess the situation. I calmly explained that their employees had a better chance of seeing GOD than entering my house. I will pay the next company to fix Falso's F^&* -ups. Not another dime of my money will they receive. Good luck if you choose to hire these people. You may have a better experience than I did.

I have had them come in for years. They come on time and they come every year. If I need any part replaced, it is done in a timely fashion. I have no complaints about their work. They put the furnace that I have here about 10 years ago.

We called Falso Heating (Corporate Drive, E. Syracuse), since they took on Feldman's (no longer in business) customers and Feldmans had installed the furnace and did a minor repair in the past. The repair person came out at a time convenient for us. He looked inside the furnace, immediately remarked about the furnace being very old (12-14 years). The metal-on-metal sound was just the inside flap/door scraping, which he bent out of the way. After we repeated that the furnace wouldn't always go on when the thermostat called for heat, but that the furnace ran fine if it did turn on, he looked back at the burners and said that they were unsafe- cracked heat exchanger- and that the furnace was going over limit and shutting down. We repeated that when it started up, it never just shut down, unless the proper heat in the house was achieved. He never looked at the thermostat, although we thought that it might be part of the problem. He shone a flashlight into the furnace and said, "can you see that?" meaning rust holes, but we couldn't not see anything that he was pointing out and told him we saw nothing. He ramped up the "danger" factor, saying we could have carbon monoxide in the basement--until we showed him our active carbon monoxide detector. He re-told the "dangers" and insisted that he would send a sales person out that evening to sell us a new furnace--and he promoted a high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner combo. We were charged $100 for bending the "door" a bit, his never checking out the thermostat or anything that would have caused the initial problem, and for trying to scare us into a new furnace--and air conditioner. We did hold off dinner waiting for the sales person and discussed between the two of us that we wouldn't make a quick decision to purchase. After waiting an hour, we started dinner and then received a call from the sales person who was parked in our driveway. By that time we decided this was all too suspicious and just said "no thank you" without meeting with the sales person, who reiterated that the technician had told him that we were in danger if we didn't get a new furnace, since the heat exchanger was cracked. We were direct over the phone and stated that we felt that we were not being told the truth about the condition of our existing furnace. Two days later we received a letter in the mail from the General Manager stating, "I noticed our technician was at your home recently and he brought to my attention that your furnace is over 12 years old. This doesn't mean anything is currently wrong with your equipment, but I thought you should be aware there are more cost effective options available to you." This confirmed our suspicions that we weren't in grave danger; plus we read-up on "over limit" issues and that wasn't at all our problem. The rest of that heating season, the furnace worked relatively well, so we let it go as is. In the Fall of 2010 the furnace started acting up again--not dependable in starting up. We called a company rated highly on Angie's List and in a two-hour visit, the furnace was inspected, not found to be "dangerous" and the technician had installed a new pilot module or controller (not sure what it is called) and a different thermostat we had on hand. The furnace has worked flawlessly through the record breaking 2010-2011 Syracuse winter.

Poor resonse time, i.e. given a certain time repair person would be there, and multiple changes to that schedule even after an e-mail confirmation, significiantly overpriced when a second opinion was requeted and service performed, saved over $100. Very bad feeling about this company.

Scheduled furnace tune-up for 12/7/10. Office called to see if I would be available in one-half hour or keep my 12/7 appointment. Service tech (Chad) was in my area and could perform service today. I agreed to have service tech come right over. Representative was polite and thorough. He explained what he had done and left me a list of what was done. Price was as quoted before hand. My furnace was in good shape. No additional service required. He explained "annual tune-up" program which could save me money in the future. There was no pressure to sell me anything. He suggested I call their office to inquire about "tune-up program." I was very pleased and will call to enroll in "tune-up program."

There was nothing that we disliked. They were responsive as they came within 24 hours and it was not an emergency call. They came when they said they would which is not always the case with these companies. The repair man was able to fix the issue and explained very clearly what was going on. It was a very satisfactory visit.

The installation itself went well, but the service has declined over the years. They send different people every year for the inspection and maintenance routine, and the last few years I have not been happy with their technicians. One year, he didn’t bother to vacuum or clean anything. The next one did the job properly, but the work always varies depending upon who is out that year. They have raised their prices by 41%, and I am now finding another company.

They have provided solid service. They have taken care of every complaint I have ever had.

DO NOT CALL these guys. Waste of YOUR time and money.

They came out on a night when it was 13 below zero just to try to fix my furnace. They sent someone right away, but they didn't have the part that they needed. I had to wait until the next morning to have it fixed. When the part came, they installed it and it didn't work. He said that he might have a part in his truck and came back in with a part that wasn't even in a box. He messed around with the furnace and got it working. I used the furnace from February through April and when I went to start it up in October, the ignition wasn't lighting. I had them come out again to look at the problem. They were very rude, argued with me and would not waive the diagnostic fee even though I knew it was the ignition. He did say that he would waive the fee if the ignition switch was bad. Of course, he found another little part that he sanded off and said that was the problem. It cost me $300!
