Josh and Nate were knowledgeable and very kind to get ‘em up and running without spending the whole bank. I was and still am paying for my moms cancer treatment and they found a way to get the system up that was affordable and efficient even though the diagnosis was pretty bad. I appreciate you both will use again

I have had it with Falso Service Experts. They persuaded me to lease their HVAC system at a cost of $176 a month. OK, that's on me. But they are supposed to do regular maintenance checks without one having to constantly remind them. An example of a recent interaction. I called (once again) to remind them that they hadn't been in to do maintenance for a while. I was a member: why did I always have to be the one calling in? I was told that due to an error in the system I had been overlooked; apologies etc. A maintenance visit was scheduled. I got one email confirmation and a second email reminder: they would come in a 3-hour window. I waited the entire 3 hours: they were a no-show. I call Falso: what are you talking about; you were not scheduled. What? I read both emails to the CSR, who puts me on hold and consults the technicians. Without apologizing or acknowledging her mistake, she tells me that a technician will come out to me as soon as they have a chance. I remind her that I have been waiting for 3 hours; can I get a courtesy call with a more precise time to expect the technician? She asserts that she will call me ... This is so ridiculously unacceptable service, especially for the service fee I pay every month, there are no words ...

I have used Falso for over 20 years. I received a phone call indicating that "a technician would be in my area that day and it was time for my annual boiler inspection." I said sure send him. The tech arrived accompanied by a salesman. The tech drilled a hole in my exhaust pipe and measured the carbon monoxide, he said that it was 373 ppm and that my 18 year old boiler heat exchanger had failed and the boiler should be red tagged and replaced without looking any further or opening the boiler. The salesman surveyed the system and prepared a purchase agreement for $11,810. I told them I would get an independent technician to both measure the CO and if the boiler needed replacement I would get another bid in that the salesman had included $1,000 worth of equipment that was functioning fine. The independent technician came 4 days later, noted that the CO measurement was 270 ppm not 373 ppm and opened the inspection cover to find that a piece of refractory had dislodged and was laying against one of the burners interfering with combustion. He reinstalled the refractory and cleaned the burners. He then measured the CO at 37 ppm, well below the utilities company limit of 100 ppm and an order of magnitude lower that the boiler manufacturer's limit of 400 ppm. I contacted the Operations Manager at Falso and explained the situation, including my disatisfaction with the technician and the salesman, and notified him that after 20 years I no longer trusted Falso and cancelled my membership in their advantage program. He apologized and arranged to have my charge for the inspection refunded

I had a bad experience with this company on 1/9/22. Our furnace hadn’t been working for about 18 hours. The tech showed up followed by someone who ended up being a salesman. Tech diagnosed the problem as a bad inducer motor and told me because the furnace was 20 years old that the part would be expensive and hard to find. The second person stepped in and quoted me for a new furnace and told me I would have to act quickly because they had limited install dates available and prices were going to go up. I wasn’t really comfortable with how things had transpired and we still had no neat so I called another company. That company diagnosed the same problem, but was able to provide a temporary fix and told me they could have the part the next day at half the price of Falso. I asked him if he could quote me for a new furnace while he was there and that quote was also half the price. A week later and the furnace is still running fine on the temporary fix and we expect to be getting a new furnace this week. I have tried to contact Falso several times to try and discuss my experience and get my money back. No one has returned my calls or emails.

The salesman was pushy, cocky and rude. Wasted our time by dragging the process of submitting a quote on and on. Might of hired them except for his personality. Overall they were unprofessional, and unresponsive. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

I called Falso for the emergency because they had installed the furnace some years ago, and had serviced it just last fall. I was told they could come in three days, and they would not respond to an emergency because I did not have a monthly service contract. To keep my pipes from freezing, I found a new service provider that responds to emergencies.

Our furnace quit on a Friday morning. My husband called Falso Plumbing & Heating before 8 am and they said someone would be there sometime today and that there is a $99 charge to come out. The tech came out after we had been without heat for over 12 hours, spent less than 15 minutes diagnosing the problem. Told us that we needed an inducer motor and it would cost $1,000. The tech did not have the part, did not know if they had the part in stock, didn't know if it could be fixed over the weekend. I was quite angry and expressed that anger. I also told the tech that I know it was not her fault, but how can Falso send people out that don't know anything and didn't make a call to find out? I am guessing they were put off that I was angry that they did not have the part, angry that we felt they were price gouging and that they could not commit to fixing our furnace over the weekend; the tech said we would be called 1st thing Saturday morning & we received no call as of 6:25 pm Saturday night. I also wanted to know the breakdown of parts to labor, how long it would take to install on the $1,000 quote. Tech didn't know and said that $1,000 is what they charge for this job, the tech DID know it would take 30 to 45 minutes to install. I checked and the part is somewhere between $150 and as high as $500. So if the part was above average at $350, we are talking about $650 for labor on a 30 to 45 minute job. You can decide if you think this a good way to do business.

They advertise 24 hr service so I called at 10:10 pm on saturday 8/4. I was told they would inform the technician and the tech would contact me shortly with an estimated time frame. At 12:25 am sunday I hadn't heard from anyone so I called again and was told the same thing. I called yet again at 4:35 am and once again tol the same thing. I told the person answering the phone I have been waiting since 10:15 for someone to contact me. They did not understand why I hadn't heard back. They said they would contact the tech and call me back. They could not get a hold of the tech either. I told them to forget about the service call would be calling another company. The other company's tech called me within 20 minutes with estimated time frame. He then contacted me again when he was on his way. The other company showed up and fixed the problem in 2 1/2 hours. I won't be calling this company again

With forecasts for a week long heat wave, i called Falso to schedule a routine a/c tune-up to make sure that our A/C unit would be up to the task. I was told the earliest appointment would be in a week. Because we had purchased the central a/c unit from a company Falso had bought out, we thought out of loyalty we could wait a week and not contact any other a/c companies. The very day before the scheduled service call, Falso called and told us that because of the influx of customers calling with more serious a/c problems, they have to reschedule us to the end of the month - 3 1/2 weeks away. They didn't ask us they told us. Very unprofessional. I will never do business with them again.

They are a national chain, and I use a local one. They charge $80 a season, but that includes emergency calling and you get a priority on a list. Then I get one free service, so like I pay for the year. That I do in the fall. They had to come back because there was a problem with the furnace and they honored the warranty on it. They were honoring a warranty. I did have to pay for the parts, but I don't remember what that was.

We thought we were having a propane leak from our furnace. We had the propane company out and they determined it was coming from the furnace. So we called falso to come out and diagnose this. The guy had to borrow our dish soap (he didn't even have any of his own...which is common to use for gas leaks). Then as we watched where he used it, it wasn't even in the right areas. He automatically said we had a leak in the valve and we need the check switch replaced as well. He also told us to turn off propane and not use for the night. It was 11 degrees outside and so it became around 55 in our house all night. Falso called in the morning and told us it would cost $1078 to fix these two parts. We thought that seemed a little high and got our model number and found out these parts were only $303 total. Not only did we call a local part company we also spoke to two different heating and air companies and they both couldn't believe how much Falso was trying to charge us. We were also told by Falso it would only take them about an hour to install. They were charging us triple the price of parts. After we already paid $100 on top of that for the misdiagnosis. With that said we called suburban propane back out and had them do a pressure test and sniff test again on furnace and they showed that the valve was absolutely not leaking (matter of fact they said it looked new) , valve switch was not bad and tha the pilot was a tad loose and leaking a small amount of propane which was easily detectable if he would have sprayed it was soap to see the bubbles. They also mentioned that even that tad bit wouldn't leave an odor in our vents because as soon as valves ignite it shuts off. He also tested the entire valve and not one bubble appeared. He also did a pressure test and it showed nothing. Also that night when Falso rep was put to our home we asked him about a smell in our vent and if that was a propane smell and he said yes probably what we are smelling since we had the leak. Well guess what pest guy came today because of that smell we were smelling and it was a dead mouse. We are just shocked by misdiagnosis they gave us. We will never use this company again and feel they tried to take advantage of us. Not only that but they put our family under a lot of stress telling us that we could have had an explosion. They also told us we shouldn't use our heat and we froze all night long and worried about our pipes freezing. I will also be leaving a bbb complaint on this company. We want our money back for the service call. This was a big misdiagnosis on their part and could have cost us a lot of money and damage.

After 30 minutes of checking all possible root causes it was clear the gas controller was seriously malfunctioning; the tech quoted all potential repair costs which was well over half way to a new more efficient unit (current unit was over 20 yrs old) and he said if it was his family in the house he would not take a chance on running it any longer. since we now had no heat we were prioritized for first installation Monday morning. So far so good....

This review was written by a family member: When I called, I told them I thought the upstairs air conditioner was low on refrigerant. The serviceman looked the furnaces over, then went to the air conditioners (2 separate units for 2 apartments) and looked them over. They looked in good condition so he had the tenant (my son) go up and turn the 2nd floor unit on. The air conditioner was running but not working. The repairman said it was low on coolant. He had us check out the 1st floor's unit and found that was running properly. After filling the air conditioner with refrigerant, the serviceman told me there MAY be a leak and what they would charge to trace that down. And of course that didn't include the price to repair the leak--there was no way to estimate that. I thought that meant that there MAY or MAY NOT be a leak and that it could lose refrigerant for another reason. (Stupid me for not asking.) He itemized everything on the bill including the estimate to trace a leak and my refusal (for what I thought was only a possibility). It was obvious there was a leak when my son turned the air conditioner on the next hot day and it did not cool the apartment. We had a window unit and he used that instead because I just didn't have the extra money to fix it not to mention replace the once-again-missing refrigerant. Fast forward a year later and it's now time to repair the air conditioner AGAIN. A family member suggested I look on Angie's List to see who got good ratings. I started reading through them. I found Murray's H&AC had a review dated about the same time with the same problem. I felt really ripped off when I read that they KNEW there had to be a leak and Murray's serviceman had explained that if they couldn't find the leak after putting in the refrigerant and running it that they charged such-and-such to trace it down and that they couldn't estimate the cost to repair it. I called Falso and talked to the manager. I told him that I felt ripped off because the serviceman did not make it clear that there was definitely a leak. He said that there is ALWAYS a leak when the air conditioner needs refrigerant. I reiterated that the serviceman did not say that. He told me that he did because it was written on the bill. I explained that he never mentioned it until after he filled the refrigerant and he had used the word "MAY". I thought he should give me my money back. He refused to but said he'd give me a $75 credit on the next bill. I chose to hire Murray's H&AC instead...and am I ever glad I did! (Read my review.) It turned out to be a problem with the wiring being crossed-- a problem the previous tenants (who rented both apartments) would not have noticed if they ran both air conditioners at the same time. The only reason the 1st floor's air conditioner worked is because the 2nd floor's air conditioner was "on". Had we turned on the 1st floor's air conditioner before trying to run the 2nd floor's air conditioner, it might have worked. I now wonder if it was ever low on refrigerant. I truly feel ripped off.

The master plumber did not install hot water heater as customer requested and the sales rep. wrote. He was there to do a replace and that was it. I had expected that the gas line would have been relocated out of harm's way as was in the order. When the plumber was doing the work I asked if he would relocate the pipe and he said " It will go back in the same as it was installed" I talk to the office manager and he said he would make it right but he needed his sales rep to tell him what material they needed. the sales guy arrived an d did nothing. We had a miscommunication in our office about re-routing the gas line for the customers water heater. It was supposed to be done when we replaced the water heater. I explained to the customer that when we sent the original salesperson back to look over the quality of the entire installation as we normally do, He would take a look at what needed to be done to correct the gas line for the water heater. There appeared to be a misunderstanding on what was discussed when the salesperson went back to look over the job. He thought the customer said he was ok with the gas line the way it was and there would be no more follow up. I just called the customer again and explained we are still willing to come out and change the gas line the way he wanted it originally for no charge and I apologized for the problem with communication. He stated he did not want us to come back to change the gas line. I told him if he changes his mind we will still be more than happy to come out and change the gas line at no charge.
