FOUR D LANDSCAPING

It has been 2 weeks from when someone from 4D came and I have not received a quote via email or phone. I understand during the busy season, companies are too busy to do the work, but if that is the case, they should not have wasted my time or theirs. Due to their unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness, I would not recommend this company.

Unfortunately, even though Suffolk County is listed as the "service area" and the vendor, who is located in East Setauket, is only 19 miles away from my property location (and in the same township of Brookhaven) I was informed that they do not travel that far and are only servicing properties on the North Shore. I think the vendor's ad should reflect their limited scope of operations.

The job was excellent!! I called the office to let them know what a thorough job their workers had done. I was completely satisfied.

Didn't use; doing lawn maintenance myself. Chris was very prompt in getting back to me and answering all my questions.

The professionals at Four D show up every week and knock out our lawn service quickly and efficiently. If we're having a special occasion we always let them know and they leave things looking extra good. I highly recommend them.

This is an area of pine trees on my property that is used to dump the leaves in the fall. Four D came with about 8 workers and left the area clean down to where you could see the dirt. It took them approximately 3 hours total.

Brought in app. 6 yards of top soil and leveled out area and then spread the top soil out. They did a great job in a tough back yard which is more or less all hill.

If you are considering having any lawn work done, don't look any further. Call Sean. I have lived in my home since 2004 and never did any work. I lost trees during the storms and over time my yard became ugly. Working on a budget i wanted a lot done without spending a fortune. My long term goal is to downsize. Last year I had an estimate, it was $17,000 and they were only going to work on my back yard. I gave up on the idea. I decided to research the project again and called two contractors. One never showed and then I met with Sean at 4 D Landscaping. He worked with my budget, he listened to what I wanted. He came back with a proposal that was exactly what I was looking for. I travel a lot for my job and I wound up having to be out of town the day that Sean and his team came to do the work. I did not want to reschedule I was so anxious to get the job done. I felt very comfortable with Sean and had no problem with his team doing the work while I was out of town. He exceeded my expectations. When I returned my home was beautiful. The work was better than I ever imagined. My front and back yards are stunning! I really hated by backyard before I met Sean, I didn't go outside and wanted to pretend it did not exist. I love my backyard and look forward to the best summer I have ever had in my home. I am not one to write reviews, but 4D is the best of the best. Please call them you will be glad you did. I know I am.

Estimate provided for repair and replacement of landscaping and side walk retaining wall. First estimate cancelled because of weather. Company very responsive and rescheduled on first available mutual date. Pricing was the highest estimate received. The company was very professional and knowledgeable. I will choose a contractor once I receive other estimates.

Initial contact was quick and timely. Estimate was written and clear. Called 3 other companies none offered an estimate. Workers were quick and worked well. They were polite and professional. Asked for clarification rather than making the decision about what I wanted. I asked to add on the removal of the patch of vinca while they were working. They called the manager who came right out and looked at the work and gave me a price. My yard looks great. I have used other companies in the past. These guys were better by far. Only problem was that they said they would come on Friday, it rained that day. They did not call me to tell me when I could expect them. The did get me in very quickly after that.

We are out of state, getting contractors to help at elderly parents house. We scheduled an estimate when we were in the area, and Sean from 4-D showed up as promised on time. The property had overgrown shrubs and a lawn that was just hanging on. Our parents wanted to rip it out and put in new topsoil and sod given their frustrations. Sean showed them that it was all recoverable and a much cheaper option would be to nurture it back to a thriving state. We scheduled the actual work for two weeks later when we were back in the area. We were worried that with heavy rain in previous days that we would be delayed, but Sean kept us informed by text messages and brought his team in on time, as planned. The crew were obviously professional and worked as a team, for example working together with their blowers to get a combined effect moving very large piles of leaves that had accumulated over the years. They were very through in their work, carefully cleaning up after each step and planning their efforts so there was not a lot of coordination required. Very hard working, willing to go into the middle of overgrown bushes to make sure things were properly cleaned out. They took extra care to properly hand spread seed, lime, and fertilizer in areas where the spreader would have put it in beds or on the sidewalk. We were *very* impressed, and would recommend 4-D without hesitation.

Called and received a visit and estimate the same day. Set a date for when all the leaves were down. Workers arrived punctually, did a great job removing all leaves and trimming shrubbery and cleaning gutters. Everything looked great and pretty much immaculate when they were done. Workers were, as always, pleasant and industrious. This is the third time we have used FourD and have always had a great experience with them.

From the very first phone call to Lori to the last handshake with Sean, four d is an amazing company. They responded quickly to our request for an estimate, quoted a fair price and began their work on the scheduled date. Sean arrived with the crew and explained to them what needed to be done. Each crew member went about his work in a very efficient manner and finished the job by the end of the day. I am very pleased with the outcome and, in fact, I hired four-d to do my weekly lawn service. I would highly recommend this company for all of your landscaping needs.

These guys do weekly lawn maintenance, fall and spring cleanup. They are professional, consistent and thorough. Last year they did a very large weeding and mulching job for a neglected property. They are able to field a large crew when necessary that comes and works hard, leaving nice results.

Personal attention throughout. Planning occurred with us with explanations of what would work on our property. Punctual and kept appointments. All crews friendly and thorough.

We have a ton of ivy growing along the fence surrounding our property. We also have a large area with rocks that we are undecided as to what to do with it, but at the time it was overrun with weeds. We had Four D come in for an estimate and then scheduled the work for the following Tuesday. Everything was great, from getting the estimate to the guys doing the work. Everyone was on time and our yard looks great. We even decided to go with the weekly mowing which they did a few days later and the yard looks fantastic. Very happy we went with Four D.

I started using Four D for my weekly lawn Maintenance approx. two months ago after doing it myself for 20 years. I was hesitant to have some one else cut my lawn as i am the type who doesn't just run the lawn mower over the grass and call it a day. I would cut, trim, edge, blow, hand trim certain areas that i didn't want to use the weedwacker in, etc. Rob, the manager that met with me when i hired them was very understanding of my desire to have the best possible job done. I am very happy with the job that Four D does on my lawn. No landscaper can take the time that i would to do the job, but Four D comes as close as you can get. I also used them to do some repair and re-vitalization work on our backyard. For that I met with Sean, the construction manager. Sean, like Rob, was friendly, courteous and professional. His crew staked, trimmed, and secured a dozen arborvitae that had taken a beating during the winter, removed some rotted landscape ties around our above ground pool and put down a new layer of 3/4" white limestone rock around our pool, shed, and in a couple of small beds. An issue arose with the rock, in that the first load they put down was really white, while a second load that they brought to put down was not the same. Without hesitation or complaint, they returned that load, and within a day or two, delivered another load of rock. Unfortunately, we still were not happy with the appearance of the third load compared to what they had already put down. AGAIN, without complaint, they took that load away. Thankfully for both of us, the next load they brought was bright white like we wanted. Instead of being annoyed and put out like many other people would have been, Sean was apologetic that the job took longer to complete than it should have. Any question, issue, or concern that i have had so far has been addressed quickly, professionally, and to my utter satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Four D Landscaping to anyone.

I find the managers to be responsive whenever you ask for an estimate; and the workers to be very nice, friendly and respectful. The ladies in the office are always a pleasure to speak with. I find this company very comfortable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

It took a while for follow up but they eventually provided the initial design as promised

Excellent we went from a completely unusable backyard to an incredible flat yard overlooking a daunting ravine. We could of NEVER imagined our hillside yard to look this incredible. Sean was responsive, knowledgable, and more than fair. We actually have a yard now. What a great investment. I would be remiss if I didn't mention how hardworking, polite, and professional their landscapers were. We had over 200 yards of fill brought in, they are a well oiled machine and made it all look easy! They left no trace they were here other than the incredible yard! They cleaned up everything! I would use them again without hesitation. Sean and his crew were just amazing!

We loved them. They were wonderful. They were very professional, they were very cooperative, and I have never seen a group that worked as hard as they did. We have recommended them to everybody that needs landscape work done. They were a referral to us and we are very happy with them. The price was reasonable too, compared to everyone else. They did a lot of work for us and they just did it right so I want them to get more business, in fact, my brother used them too. A person came out and gave us estimate first and when the actual workers came, they decided that they had to cement the stones, which were not a part of the original estimate, and they just honored the estimate. They did the job right, they took a lot longer, but they didn’t charge anything extra for it. They were just amazing and we are already thinking about using them again.

They are very good and I have no problems with them. They are always on time and I will use them again in the future.
