FOUR D LANDSCAPING

Women in the office are awful, Rude and incompetent. We called to cancel them for the summer and they continued to come and bill us. They refuse to acknowledge the fact I canceled and are still expecting payment. Most unprofessional experience ever

We arranged a fall cleanup. They never came, always telling us that they will be here tomorrow. That happened when it was clear, and now nothing but rainy days forecasted. If they told us that they were too busy we would have been able to make other arrangements, or do the work ourselves.

Initially work was very nice last year - this included the clean-up, mulch and trimming and pruning. Big job and not cheap, but reasonable. Weekly lawn service was less than good. Guys were in and out in 2 minutes until I called and finally got a response within 2-3 weeks. Once they get the big money from you (not the weekly) very hard to get any kind of customer service/response from the ones that make decisions.

It went smoothly. Came 2 days after I called them in the busy time of year. Professional and curtious.

I was extremely pleased. I have a large area of my front yard that is completely flat and wide open and wanted to do something with it but wasn't sure what to do. I called Four D landscaping after reading reviews online and was not dissappointed. Sean called me back right away and set up an appointment for the next day. He was right on time, and mapped out a few different plans to choose from with estimates. After reviewing the plan we set a date and he arrived as scheduled and did a beautiful job!!! Sean was very easy to deal with and accommodating. I will definitely be using Four D landscaping again next season to keep adding features to my property.

I asked for an estimate on Wednesday. I was told someone would come Thursday and leave the estimate in my mailbox. I was not there when I got home Thursday night. I called Friday morning and asked about it and was told that they would speak to one of the managers and get back to me. I waited until 4:30 Friday afternoon and no one got back to me so I called and left a message. I called again Saturday. No one got back to me to explain or apologize. This is very poor customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They came on the scheduled day and stayed until they were finished. They were very professional and informative. They answered any questions we had with no problem. I felt very comfortable with them and would recommend them to my friends and family.

It was absolutely perfect. They were meticulous and courteous.

Went well I pointed out the bamboo and they took care of it no problem. with no extra cost.

Very quick phone response and estimate. They explained options and were flexible, very professional. We only wanted to do the minimum right now and they were willing to accommodate. The work was done about a week later than expected (told 2 wks, turned out to be 3) but this was not a problem for us. The work itself was done exactly as promised. We would use this company again.

I live in the Candy Section of Commack, the Northern most part, and I called Four D for an estimate on top soil replacement and sod placement; a fairly large job. This company is located in East Setauket, a 20 minute drive from my home. I first left a message and received a call back some time later telling me they DO NOT SERVICE THE COMMACK AREA. I have had workman and contractors come from 3x the distance. I have seen similar reviews to this and think this company should re-think their customer relations skills. Really, what a joke: does one need to be located on the same block to receive service? Do yourself a favor and waste no time even calling this company, unless your house happens to be across the street.

We didn't use them because they wanted to much money. They wanted about $1200 or so and we ended up finding someone who would do the same exact job for $500 and he already completed it and did a great job. He seemed nice and everything like that. I would have used them if they weren't so much high but they were nice and all. They were nice and courteous. They came by when they said they would. They were actually the most expensive out of everyone. They weren't even in the middle of the road. They were blowing over everyone else who had come here. He came over pretty fast. He was here when he said he would be. I would consider asking them for a quote but it all comes down to pricing.

We had gotten a few quotes for some yard work. Four D was the only company that came the day I called to give us a quote. They were willing to do everything we wanted for a fair price. They came right away to mow even though they couldn't get to everything else. I gave them a B for punctuality only because they said they were coming Saturday but didn't come until Tuesday. This means very little to me after seeing the beautiful job they did.Our yard is spotless, not a twig or rock or acorn to be found. When I say they weeded, they WEEDED! They even pulled all of the dead plants from last year out of my planters. They did everything I would have done myself and more. My husband says this was the best money we've ever spent on the house, and I couldn't argue. We'd planned on this being a one time thing since we couldn't get to it with a toddler running around, but I think we'll have to use them again. Thank you so much!

I had a problem with my old landscaper, and I was on the hunt for a new one b/c our lawn was starting to look like a forest. I emailed Four D and they called me back right away. they came to my house that same day to do the estimate for our needs. I called them 2 days later to get things going. They came the SAME day to do my first mowing. Then they came yesterday for the spring cleanup & gutters. They did a phenomenal job, and I love how responsive they are. A+++++++++

According to the listing their service area is Suffolk County; however, when I contacted for services in Shirley, NY I was told they do not service this area.

4D Landscape is great. 4D has been cutting my lawn and doing my twice yearly spring and fall clean-up. They are responsive and professional unlike most fly by night landscape crews around here. Yes, they are a little more expensive than some companies but you get what you pay for. A good service provider.

They were fine. The price I paid was for per week. They don’t do residential ploughing in the winter but they do commercial ploughing. So I’m disappointed in that. They did everything I asked them to. Their price was about right. I had other estimates and it was about the same. Their quality and professionalism were fine.

I have a large property with a lot of flower beds. We recently moved in and didn't have the time to work on the outside. It took them a couple of hours, but they made the property look beautiful! I rated punctuality B since they couldn't tell me the actual day they were coming due to being backed up from the weather. I had to call a couple of times to pin down a day.

Equipment for mowing left visible wheel tracks in the grass. They seem to contract out to other companies for additional work. Requested the Fall clean-up, was told we were scheduled, no one ever showed - today is 12/27/14.

They did a great job with the clean up, but I wish their prices for other things were more reasonable. They are response and professional.

Landscaping is efficient and clean. The work crews are very good, and responsive. Project Managers have been easy to work with, easy to contact and responsive. Masonry work was performed around a newly installed pool. Coordination between the 4-D and the Pool company was relatively smooth. Overall design was worked into the current backyard topography very nicely. Features including Water Fall and Sitting Wall add a great touch to the project. Any hiccups in the projects were readily addressed.

Last year I had no grass. The former landscapers would come but no one ever told me that I needed to cut some trees if I wanted grass. They would have kept coming to mow 3 blades of grass. When I called them they told me I had no grass on a slope because of runoff. They came up with an elaborate drainage.plan but I refused. I had a consult with a tree expert who cut and trimmed some trees. He said that I would have no problem growing grass next Spring. Then we had 4 D Landscaping come and renovate the lawn.The grass grew beautifully, even on the slope. 4D comes every week to mow and blow and trim. Everything looks great. The workers are very nice. They worked very hard doing the Spring clean up and renovation. The office is responsive but I really do not have to call because there is no reason to call. Green is the Color comes and does the fertilization. I had some moles and they came right away and took care of the problem. As a team,, both are so much better than the last for landscapers that I have had. Next year will be the test to see how everything looks the second year. So far it is August and even with the lack of rain this summer, everything looks great. Thank you 4 D and Green is the Color.

Very pleasant landscapers - actually removed the extra grass from the mowers so there are no clumps of grass left on lawn - this was a first for me after using many landscapers previously. Very satisfied.

I had used FOUR D LANDSCAPING on multiple projects, but this was a real challenge. I buy, renovate and sell houses and this particular house in St. James was an expensive project. The soil in the front of the house had such poor drainage that no matter what irrigation setting I used the water just sat and actually turned to mildew and mold. You could smell the decaying grass, mildew and mold. FOUR D installed a drainage system to help the situation. It took three revisits and they were patient and accommodating. The responded within half an hour when I called. They did drive by checks of the property at least once a week to assess the situation. I have since renovated another house in Stony Brook and when spring broke I had Sean on the job quoting out the landscaping job. The project was started one week later and looks beautiful. They stand behind their work, changing out immediately a shrub that doesn't make it. Again they did complete cleanup, tree trimming & removal, chemicals and seeding and landscaping. They are very professional and take my concerns seriously. I would never look anywhere else for my outdoor needs. Their quotes are very competitive and they stand behind everything they do.

The Four D crew arrived early in the morning and began work immediately. They completed all of the above mentioned work and went above and beyond by removing three tree stumps for which we were not charged any additional money. When my wife asked the head of the crew why he removed the stumps, he told her that aesthetically the ugly stumps had to go, and that he always takes a lot of pride in the finished appearance of his product. The crew completed the work in a single day as promised, and left our property and the street in front of our house immaculate. Sean advised on proper watering/fertilizer requirements and now our lawn and property is the best it has ever looked! We're looking forward to using Four D again when we plan to add some new shrubbery and additional Fall plantings.
