Description of Work: I had them come out to replace my leaky hose bib with a frost free hose bib. The technician was very courteous and took the time to show me how he planned to do the installation. Once he was done I decided to ask to get an estimate to replace the faucet on the utility sink in my basement. Based on the estimate I decided to get that done too to help eliminate a future service visit charge since I planned to replace it in the near future.

Description of Work: Installed a new water pump for my sanitary sink in basement. I was please by their quick response, price and service - the serviceman was very professional.

Description of Work: Our downstairs toilet was plugged up and they came out to snake it. Quickly, efficiently done, even on a weekend appointment. My one gripe was that they wanted $500 to replace the upstairs toilet. That's a little much.

Description of Work: Penfield Plumbing fixed my shower leak and a leak I had from my kitchen to the basement. I tried 2 other plumbers before I joined Angie's list and got Penfield's name and they quoted me $10,000 and $6,000. They also wanted to do work that did not need to be done yet. Penfield Plumbing is the best I have ever had as far as plumbers go. I would definitely use them again and will give their name to my Mom to use in the future.

Description of Work: Elliott (service technician) replaced a drinking faucet on our kitchen sink. Initially I felt the installation cost (vs parts cost) was high, but Elliott included replacement of the shut-off valve at no additional cost, which made it much more reasonable. I can't say enough positive things about Elliot. I would definitely request him if I use Penfield Plumbing again.

Description of Work: In replacing a flapper valve on a toilet, I inadvertently created a leak at the water inlet line where it connects to the shut off valve. I left a message on their answering machine Sunday night, and got a call back the following morning at 8:30am, and they were out that afternoon. Left no mess, no leak, and we were thrilled with their timeliness and professionalism.
