this took a long time to schedule as they came out over a month ago to give me an estimate and it took weeks for the work to be done with no communication from them as to when it would happen. I called a couple times and then it was done and done very well with no mess and stakes/tape placed to block the driveway until it dried....all good but plan early as they are very busy

They hda to do a lillt more work the origional quote, but that was OK, i almost expected it but it was fair. The only disappointment I had was that they left the base trim on the house splattered with tar, and some bent.They also took apart the base of the gutter downspout, it was really bent and I could not eeasily replace it

Contractor responded quickly, measured, estimated, and mailed me a detailed written proposal with a choice of one-course or two-course paving for $2,375 or $3,100 respectively. Within no more than a few days of my acceptance, Jeff Trong phoned me on an evening to schedule the job the next day if possible (it was). They came when they said they would (called ahead to let me know they were on their way). Hard-working, efficient team. Owner Jeff Trong was on-site the entire time, working along with his crew. Cleaned up as they worked. Avoided intruding on neighbors' properties. No disruption to neighborhood traffic. No harm to my lawn. Cleaned the road afterward. As others have said, this contractor is meticulous. Performed every step necessary for a very long-lasting driveway. Their expertise and experience showed. Beautifully done edges, apron, joins (with garage, my sidewalk, public roadway). I highly recommend this contractor.

They arrived when they said they would. Worked and did not unduly disturb neighborhood traffic, etc. They did an excellent job and 9 months later the driveway looks perfect.

Jeff made a timely estimate in response to my telephone call. Jeff and his crew arrived at about 6:45 a.m. as promised. Work was started promptly after discussing some issues I had regarding low spots. This was not a simple job because he had to work with a neighbor's existing paved driveway. He had to be careful not to damage the existing pavement. Fortunately I have a good neighbor and the crew was able to walk on that property. The long pavement cut, about 100 feet, along the property line went well and the job proceeded at a very fast rate, this despite rain which was light to moderate. Jeff and his whole crew were very professional. They continued to clean the street, clean my neighbor's driveway and they were sure to keep all of the heavy equipment from causing any damage to the his pavement. Each person knew what they had to do and I was amazed at the speed with which the job progressed. The Asphalt Doctor is the "go-to" guy for a professional, clean job in asphalt work. He worked with me regarding the type of driveway I should use while giving me options that were professional and of a quality nature. As senior citizen I greatly appreciated his options which were accompanied by a full explanation. The following day, a Saturday, Jeff showed up at my door to deliver a pamphlet on the care of my new driveway. He did not have any in his truck the day before. You can imagine my surprise at this customer courtesy. Way to go, Jeff. I want to recommend Jeff and his crew to everyone who wants a professional, clean reasonably priced job from a company which has a polite and hard working crew. I can't say enough good things about how Jeff handled a complicated job. If you need sealing, repair or driveway replacement, best call the Asphalt Doctor now to get on his schedule.

I will have to cut the bottom of the gate that goes from the back of the driveway to my back lawn, becuase he put down two coats of asphalt. Not a big deal. This driveway is for the home owner who wants to be here for a while.

Asphalt Doctor provided a proposal and performed driveway sealcoating for approximately 14 new driveways in our development. They were very easy to work with as far as coordinating a group contract for multiple homeowners. The cost indicated is for one driveway. Each driveway was measured individually to determine cost. Because they had a number of large projects already, it took about six weeks for them to get this large number of driveways scheduled. But once scheduled, the work was done well. They even came back to touch up a couple of driveways where the sealcoating had been slightly washed away at the bottom of the driveways due to an isolated, unexpected rain shower that night. It also took five weeks before the bills were received in the mail, but the bills were accurate. Very good people to work with. They recommended waiting on driveways that were less than 6 months old and they recommended a follow-up application a year later because this was the first sealcoating for these new driveways.

Overall, it was a typical experience I have had with all too many contractors. Not good. I ultimately used another provider who was very professional and actually showed up to do the work.

I had contacted a driveway sealing service that I had used previously and they did not get back to me after several attempts to reach them. The Asphalt Doctor got right back to me and squeezed my job in right at the end of the season. They did a good job for a reasonble price.

We wouldn't think of having anyone else do this work.

Called Jeff on a Friday morning, and he was out to my house for measurements and information gathering that same afternoon. He had a written proposal to me within a day or 2. Jeff knows what he is doing, and is a true professional. He took his time gathering measurements, and listening to what I wanted, as well as my concerns about the drainage. After accepting the proposal, I was scheduled for installation within about a week. As promised, he and his team showed up when they said they would, and worked diligently until the driveway was done. About a days worth of work all together. I was not home for the work, but my wife was for some of it, and she said they were truly working hard, and were all very professional. The finished driveway is MAGNIFICENT, and we couldn't be any happier. Quality work through and through, and we have the nicest driveway I've ever seen. Within a few days we had severe storms with heavy rain, and the driveway drained properly to the right of the house and down the slope away from the house. Amazing! Jeff even drove out to the house the day of the storms to make sure it was draining properly, without us even asking. Great job!

Jeff was very prompt with his proposal. Though, higher than others. But, talking to him and reading the good reports made me feel comfortable spending extra.Very professional.Very good crew.Put the extra effort in the job and it shows.Swept the place clean.Very happy with our new driveways.

Jeff was extremely professional from the beginning. He was very prompt in meeting me for the estimate. He went through everything he would do in great detail. When I changed the scope of work slightly, he was able to give me a refined quote on the spot. He was able to fit me within a week. Everyone was very prompt, getting to my house before 7am. They brought a ton of equipment and were done in a little over 5 hours. Very professional looking job. Not a single complaint. I received estimates for less but I'm very glad I didn't go with them. I gave the price a 'B' only because it was a lot of money to me but still worth every penny.

This company is the best. They arrived on time and had a team of men working on the driveway. They were very careful not to get the asphalt on the house. They finished in no time. The job made the driveway continue to look like new. I would recommend them to anyone. How nice to trust people in this business. Truly professional.

responded to request for estimate immediatly. driveway was dug out and stone was layed within a couple of days and they returned to lay blacktop as soon as it stopped raining. in all phases of job, the crew started working as soon as they arrived, completed their work and cleaned the site like nothing had been done at all. all workers were professional and went out of their way to answer all questions regarding job and end result was a very nice new driveway.

We are so pleased with our larger driveway that The Asphalt Doctor put in. They did a wonderful job, and we will continue using them for driveway sealing when we need it. My husband had a great meeting with Jeff when he was reviewing the scope of the project we wanted. We had our detailed estimate pretty fast. My husband just had a good feeling about Jeff and his crew. So we went with them. The morning of the job, they arrived right on time and were finished by mid-afternoon. What we liked about this company is that Jeff, the owner, stays and works with his crew (2 other very professional guys) the entire time. They were very clean - in the beginning they had to remove a ton of vegetation, so there was a huge mound of dirt on the side of the street until they could clean it up. I was pleasantly surprised at how they got every single piece of dirt from that mound, off of our street! I was super impressed with that! No neighbors could complain!! Throughout the day, Jeff and his crew checked in with us to ask if we had any questions or if everything was looking good. As a result, we have a beautiful extended driveway plus half-court for our basketball hoop! We will recommend The Asphalt Doctor to anyone! Great experience. I called several paving companies to get an estimate on a townhouse under purchase contract.Asphalt Doctor was the only one to respond and made a trip on Saturday to accomoadte my pressing schedule.I plan to give them the job later in the spring when the weather improves.

They did a wonderful job!!! They were very professional and gave us a great price. They started exactly when they said they would and finished in a timely manner. We had a high water table so Jeff came back every day to make sure the stone was dry enough to lay the Asphalt. He was maticulous!! We called to get estimates from 2 other companies. The Asphalt Doctors were, by far (!!!) the cheapest for exactly the same service. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing to replace their driveway.

It was a very positive experience. They were very thorough and extremely detailed with their estimate. We didn't use them because of the price. We were able to find a vendor that was less expensive and still very good. It wasn't a matter of quality as their quality is exceptionally high and the gentleman who came out was the owner and he did great estimate, but it was a little bit beyond our budget. They were our second choice and they were about $300 more than the other estimates. They were a bit higher than everybody else and that's because of their super high quality materials. We were not prepared to spend that kind of money on our driveway. They are excellent to work with, but we just couldn't afford. They were very responsive, punctual and professional.

The saw cut to remove the lower portion is EXTREMELY uneven. Leaving me with a jagged "line" of new vs. existing pavement. My neighbor commented "Well at least you'll know not to use them again". The City of Albany did a cleaner "free" job repaving the lower portion of a relatives driveway.
