Description of Work: I emailed this and another contractor through Angie's List. Neither responded to my inquiry.

Description of Work: Norb Miller took us a long way toward the conversion of our garage to a working art studio. He replaced the roof on the building, installed gutters and downspouts, removed the overhead door, framed in a new wall, installed new siding, framed in and installed 5 new windows and a new secure entry door with storm door and did extensive repair work to the north wall, removed damaged siding and installed new siding. Also repaired extensive damage to the foundation and greatly improved that situation. Addressed issues and concerns as they arose. Worked with us on design, problem solving and troubleshooting. Came in on time and within budget. Extremely competent and knowledgeable. Excellent, quality professional work. Thank you Norb!

Description of Work: We asked Norb to remodel our upstairs bathroom in our 1868 Victorian house. Norb replaced our old shower and tub with a jacuzzi tub and new shower surround. He also took out a small, tall closet between the shower and toliet, to make room for the larger jacuzzi tub. Norb then built a small wall where the closet had been. He also replaced our pedastal sink with a 36" cabinet sink. Norb also had to do some complicated rerouting and covering of our existing baseboard heat. In addition, he replaced the overhead light and fan and installed new switches for everything. He also added a recess light to our shower and really brightened the place up. Norb has a touch for both interior carpentry and the finer exterior touches as well. He chose brushed nickel for our fixtures, and they realy fit the feel of our house. Several times during the remodel, I added jobs for Norb to do: a very large mirror above the sink to open up the space, a different and more complex color scheme, and many added fixtures, including a light above the new mirror. Norb never batted an eye. He did all of the new additional tasks in the blink of an eye, and truly transformed our bathroom. Norb even angled the mirror down so that our three- year- old daughter can see herself. Now, that's thinking of everything and everyone! Above all, Norb is a professional. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he would for the original price he gave us. We couldn't aske for anything more. We also couldn't be happier with our new bathroom! We will definitely be calling Norb in the future for all of our remodelling jobs! He even asked if it was okay to take our puppy, Bella, for a walk while we were gone for the day. Now, that's service!
