Zito's moved all my furniture from my third floor apartment, to my single family home. The did an excellent job. I would use them again if I needed to.

They came over for an estimate and were easy going and friendly. When my moving day got posponed, they rearranged the date to accomodate me. Three movers came on time and I spent the whole day with them. They were friendly and helpful. They worked very hard and kept working until the large truck was full. They could not get the gas line to turn off and the dryer could not fit on the truck with the other stuff. They came back for my dryer after we later capped the line and the dryer was disconnected, so they made a second trip (although I was charged for it) it was great that I could get it done that same day. They were excellent!

The job went very well. They were very professional and efficient. There was no property damaged during the move. The guys were friendly.

I called about two months ahead and made the reservation. The gentleman who answered the call was courteous and organized. He took down detailed information about what I had to move and then called back a couple hours later with a quote. It was $675 + $1 per box + cost of moving items already at the destination, the last of which he explained was up to the supervisor on the job. I ended up calling back a few times with questions and received accurate, prompt answers each time. They sent a large tractor trailer and three guys, including Joe Zito who ran the job. This alone was important. Years ago, when my ex- and I moved into this apartment, the movers we hired sent only two guys and the move took forever. They were on time. Joe and I went around the apartment verifying what was going with them and they started moving stuff. Joe asked if I was paying with cash or check, and when I said check he said he would really appreciate cash. He pressured me a bit to go to the bank and get cash, and I decided to do so. He said he would take care of me, which I assume means it would have ended up costing more if I gave him a check. This was not an ideal interaction, but it's understandable that he would want cash, especially for a Saturday job -- small family businesses are not Target. Anyway, it was not a tremendous burden to get the cash. Joe underpromised and overdelivered, which is what you're supposed to do when dealing with customers. He told me the job would take three and a half to four hours and total about $825. It was done in two hours for $800. All three men were fast and efficient, and they were polite to my girlfriend, which was also very important. They even called me sir, which I assure you was totally unnecessary. They put everything exactly where we wanted it, set up a bedframe, and suggested a location for the basement fridge that was better than the one we had planned on. The only thing I didn't like was that they got sweat all over several of my boxes and bins. This was sub-optimal but also unavoidable given the weather, and I didn't expect them to bring a towel boy. If I had tried to do what they pulled off I would have left sweat, blood, and my crumpled body all over several of my bins and boxes. Overall, I was once again impressed with Zito and am recommending them to everybody.

I would recommend them. They were great. They were very gentle with moving my furniture and they didn't injure the walls. They were very helpful in arranging the furniture. All around they did great. I would definitely use them again.

Very happy with the movers. When the boss came later to check on the workers I told him how happy I was. I strongly recommend Zito to anyone considering movers.

We have used Zito movers twice and were extremely satisfied both times. The guys were friendly and professional, took great care with our furniture, and reasonably priced. Have recommended them to a number of friends and they have been pleased as well. I see no need to ever call a different moving company.

Upon calling the company, I was asked for a list of goods to be moved. The estimate was determined according to the list. The price quoted me was rather high, but the company had been recommended by 3 friends. I figured if the move went quickly, it would be worth it. I wasn't informed until I reconfirmed 2 days before the move that the price was for furniture only and that boxes would be $1 per extra. The movers showed up towards the end of the arrival window time. 4 movers arrived, pulled the truck as close to the walkway as possible, and started right away. Since it was December, it was cold out, but there was no precipitation. The movers were very skilled and professional, consulting me when needed. After the first 2 hours, one of the movers left for the day. The group confided in me that the management had only scheduled 2 movers for everything. The job took quite a while [5 hours], and would've taken significantly longer with a smaller party. The movers were pleasant to work with and, as I mentioned, professional. I liked the movers, so would hire them again, but I would insist on a 4-person crew. Also, I had packed my boxes to be lighter so as to not overburden each man with unbearably heavy boxes, but might choose to pack more efficiently in future due to the per box charge.

Came on time and did an excellent job. Very helpful, knowledgeable people. They were very understanding and helpful during the process, thirteen men and five trucks over a 2-day period. The price was high to me, but it seemed comparable to moving a residence and storage items. Our concern was experience and these guys work with them all the time. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future if I had a need. I have no faults with them either.

We were very well satisfied. The crew worked very hard - and it was a very hot day - and were always polite and cheerful. There was only one very minor bit of damage. Moving is never fun but this was about as good an experience as one could hope for. We recommend them.

We were referred by a friend to use Zito Movers. I called and they asked me to email/fax an inventory of the furniture I wanted moved. They also said they would move boxes for $1 a box. I got a call the next day and they gave me a quote over the phone. They did not charge by the hour. They did not indicate that I was to disassemble certain pieces of furniture. The movers said they would arrive between 12 and 2pm. They called at 2:30 and arrived at 3pm. There were 6 men moving and it was completed quickly. I had to disassemble a bunk bed but they helped and loaned me the tools I didn't have on hand. I changed my mind and didn't move all of the items that they quoted me for and they adjusted the price a little. They also apologized for being late. They were really nice guys and I would use them again.

Everything went really well. They were very nice, efficient, and professional. Nothing was broken and they did a nice job of carefully placing everything in the new home. It was raining that day and they covered everything so it didn't get wet and nothing got scratched either. Carpets in both places remained clean. The only disappointment was that they wouldn't move lamps but that's a minor complaint to an otherwise great job.

We had just moved from our home in Pennsylvania to Buffalo and we did most of the moving ourselves. When we arrived, we finally contemplated the fact that the piano we brought with us was going to be really hard to get up the stairs. We decided to go to Home Depot to get some 2 by 4 wood beams to act as a ramp when we noticed a van pull up with the name Zito Movers on it. We asked them if they could help us and they immediately followed us to our home as we left the store. They took about 20 minutes to carefully lift the piano up the flight of stairs and into the front room. They charged us a pittance of what it would have taken in the time and effort for us to move this ourselves and we are very thankful for both their time and their support. This is a great moving company to use.
