He gave us a very thorough report of every single issue you could possibly want to know about for buying a new house.

His price is very reasonable, and he was able to find a few major issues in the house I wanted to buy. The seller is working on fixing one, and we're working on negotiating the other. He was very thorough, and I really appreciated that. The detail in the report was outstanding. I could download a PDF with photographs, and there were 84 different items he mentioned that I needed to be aware of. He was even there early, and had already inspected the roof of the buildings and the outside as well. He also stayed late to get all the inspections done. Everything about the process was professional, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

His inspection was ok but he would not work with me and my realtor. The back of the house we are buying needs a new foundation. He refused to label that as a major structural repair. Now my wife and I may have to pay for the repairs ourselves. Usually, if any major structural repair is needed, the inspector will include this in his report and the cost of the repair would not fall on us but the seller would be responsible. Also our attorney said that his inspection report was unprofessional. I would not recommend this inspector to anyone.

David did an excellent job in performing a home inspection for me. His report was excellent and he pays attention to the smallest detail including if any of the construction is out of code. That is a good thing.
