Residential and light commercial inspection company. Inspections are thorough, most lasting 3 hours or more. Included in inspections are roof, exterior siding and foundation, interior, heating & cooling, electrical service, plumbing, attic and basement. Over 500+ items are inspected during the inspection.
My clients are provided with an extremely thorough and independent home inspection followed by a detailed web based Inspection Report complete with photographs and important links. My inspection reports can be easily sent by email to interested parties such as Realtors, real estate attorneys, mortgage brokers, contractors or family members for review.
Just like homes, not all inspectors are alike. Before hiring an inspector, talk to him/her, interview them, ask questions. How long have you been inspecting homes? How long will the inspection take? What kind of inspection report will I receive and when? These are just some of the questions that should be asked before hiring an inspector.
Part of a home inspector’s job is to manage the expectations of their clients. This is especially true for first time home buyers or when my clients have never dealt with a home inspector before. Explaining the limitations of a home inspection to my clients will help them develop realistic expectations concerning what to expect from a home inspection report, and what lies beyond the scope of the inspection.
Creating realistic expectations in my client’s mind will help prevent misunderstandings and promote smooth real estate transactions.
My inspection area covers the entire Capital Region from Saratoga to Hudson and Amsterdam to the Massachusetts boarder.
I am a NYS licensed and InterNACHI certified home inspector. I currently hold the office of Vice-President of the Capital Region Chapter of InterNACHI. For a thorough, independent and honest assessment of the property, please give me a call.
