Description of Work: none. I wanted to get an estimate for a front-door replacement. the representative called, but since they did not have any available time slots and since I was going away for 2 weeks i asked them to call back in 2 weeks time to arrange an appointment. 1.5 months later - still no-one called.

+ 1 moreHad storm damage to my house, and called Miracle for an estimate. They came and gave me what appeared to be a fair estimate. The man who came was very pleasant.The problem was, when it came time to sign the contract they said they would not be able to begin the work for 5 weeks or longer. I'm sure they were very busy because the storms affected many homes in my area, but sadly this made the whole exercise a bit of a waste for me since I had major damage to my home and really needed it fixed as quickly as possible.Their people are friendly and I'm sure they do good work. I only wish they were more forthcoming about their availability in the beginning.
Description of Work: Did not hire them, only had them here for an estimate.

They did my home roof a few years earlier. THEY ARE VERY professional. They are a little pricier than others, but more than worth it. They do not cut any corners. They do ALL the steps needed to ensure a quality roof. They clean up on a daily basis. When you come home from work, if they are not finished (like on a big job) they clean every single thing up. They did two jobs for me. The started both and worked till finished. In other words they did not leave me hanging wondering when they would come back and finish. Another point, they did not use "pick up crews". The same crew that did my roof years ago did my garage. I would not hesitate to use them again. up another one and leave me hanging.

+ 2 moreThey are a very good company. They are reliable and transparent with what they are giving me. They do not try to sell me something that I don't need. Whenever I need the gutters to be cleaned, they do that. For the window work, I was given a breakdown of the price by window, and it was a good price. The quality of work was great. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future; if there is a home project to be done, they would probably be the first place I would call. I would probably get a comparison price from somebody else too, but more likely than not, I would end up going with them.
Description of Work: Over the last two years or so, I have used Miracle Home Improvements to do a roof, a front door, replace close to 20 windows and clean gutters.

+ -1 moreThe job was started with a on-site quote and they provided catalogues to choose the door. After choosing the door, they took care of ordering it and called when it arrived. Installation was professional, clean, and perfect. The quote was right on target. No extra charges or surprises. Also, everyone was right on time. Cleaned up the work site perfectly. I will definately use them again in the future and recommend this outfit highly! This story is short because it was done so quickly and with no problems at all!

+ -1 moreI had spent $2000 on their first visit in 2005 and $2500 in 2006, which was their last visit. We had one issue where there was a gap and they said they will call back. One of the windows came out of its tracks and they came and fixed it. The attic window was also not measured correctly so they had to come back another time with a remade window. I would not recommend them to people who are trying to rehabilitate their home. The woman tried to get me to get rid of my 1912 original windows.
Description of Work: I used Miracle Home Improvements in 2005 and 2006 to replace a few windows and put in some storm windows.

+ -1 moreI had to find a new contractor to finish replacing the last of the windows in my home, because the one who had done the rest went MIA. (We did it in sections because of cost; we have 27 windows). Their quote came in the same as the previous quotes. They had to order the windows, so the work did not start 'til about 6 weeks later. I then had to put off their start date because of some conflicting house work, and they were very agreeable. The work was neat, and any complaints we had or adjustments we needed were taken care of quickly. Mary, one of the owners, is very responsive and pleasant; she comes out to check on the job as it progresses (every day, I think). Overall we were happy.
Description of Work: Replaced 10 original upper floor windows from the 1920's with Anderson Woodright double-hung windows. All new construction (rebuilt rotted casings and framing).

WE ASKED TO HAVE IT ALIGNED PROPERLY, AND IT'S NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY. I DON'T THINK IT'S THE COMPANY'S FAULT. IT'S JUST THAT THE DOOR ISN'T THAT GREAT. IT'S POOR QUALITY MATERIAL.
Description of Work: THEY WERE REPAIRING A STORM DOOR. IT'S THE DOOR THAT THEY INSTALLED A FEW YEARS AGO, AND THE INSTALLATION WASN'T SATISFACTORY. THEY WERE CALLED BACK TO WORK ON IT AND REPAIR IT.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME, AND WE GOT FOUR DIFFERENT ESTIMATES. WE TOOK THEM, AND THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO IT.
