Franzoso Contracting

I did some research first, and based on my research, I found that they were the best for my situation and needs. They were very professional. They came out and itemized everything, down to the minute details. The price was in the same range as the others quotes that I got for similar work, so I think that their price was very fair. They were very good. They were meticulous. I was watching them, and with the rain that we were having over the summer, I was very concerned about getting rain in between what they were doing, and I was impressed. The first thing that they did was they brought up tarps and whether we used them or not, they had them there, ready to go. They actually didn’t need them since they were able to finish it in sections. They knew how much they could get done in a day and that is what they would do. They would work on a day-to-day basis and get as much work done as they knew they could complete, and it worked out fantastic. There is an excellent manufacturer’s warranty on it, and I don’t expect anything to go wrong, except with the gutters but that is life with gutters in the country. I didn’t have screens put on them because I have had a bad experience with screens before. Gutters clog, and so I get them cleaned.

The Franzoso personnel we met with were punctual and professional. Richard answered questions we had about the job while we were making our decision and came back when we asked him to. The men started promptly when they told us they would and worked all day Friday and finished the roof Saturday afternoon. They scoured our property and cleaned everything up. The workmen were very neat and professional. Mark, the owner, is a wonderful businessman. He honored the Angies List coupon and we are now awaiting a GAF rebate for veterans.We had interviewed many companies but decided to go with Franzoso because of the positive reviews on Angies List and because of their reputation and warranty. We are happy with our decision and new roof.

Franzoso Contracting (F) came on time and gave us an estimate of what they thought was the issue. When asked if they would guarantee this would solve the problem, they stated, in our 30+ years of experience, we think this is the issue. I think that was a fair statement. Pricing was a lower than the other contractors bids. F workers came as scheduled and on time. They brought a camera to capture the leak location and showed me the problem area. The good news is that the problem was one area which did not have flashing. This was as the dormer met the roof and was a small area. When the winds were very strong, that would cause this area to leak (thus the inconsistent leak). The bad news is that all 4 dormers were the same way. When asked if they could do all 4 in the time allotted, F stated, let us do one to see how long it takes. Then we'll better be able to assess if we can do them all or need to come back (as they had other appointments). Long story short, they were able to fix all 4 dormers. The price remained the same and received the receipt in the mail yesterday. I would highly recommend Franzoso Contracting; they were extremely professional in every sense of the word.

Very prompt, showed up exactly on time , Cleaned up everywhere, removed old gutters from area, The two men were polite and professional. Would definitely use them again.

EXCELLENT JOB....Two man crew arrived on time. Everything was done in a professional matter. I was very pleased with the installation and clean-up. The whole experience from estimate to completion went without any problems. I definitely will use them again for other projects.

First of all, I appreciate that I was able to speak to a person on a Saturday. That was very helpful. They were very booked but came out about a week later to inspect a portion of my gutter which was overflow. The guys actually came a little earlier than expected. It turned that my problems were being caused a 0.10 plastic whiffle ball that had somehow magically gotten stuck in my drainpipe ( I have three young children). I received a call within the next couple of days to follow up. They did not charge me a dime for coming out.

Once contacted, the sales person came within the time frame, was very personable and knowledgable, not pushy, gave me the details and estimate. Was willing to work with my schedule to get the work done. Once the date was set for the work to begin, they arrived as scheduled and I loved the workers. They were very meticulous with details, had to rebuild the frame for a Bay Window and a Garden WIndow and did a wonderful job. The Bay Window needed scaffolding to be built and they took care of removing bushes that were in the way. They disposed of all debris. My only complaint would be that the Bay Window needed to be cleaned but it was dark by the time they finished so I could not see the fingerprints. They did attempt to clean it but it was not done very well, probably because of the time of night. I cannot reach the window properly to clean the outside but that was my only complaint. I would definitely use them again.

This was the second time we've used them (they did a large sliding door and some windows for us a few years back) and they did another great job. You do pay a premium for their services but we've found it to be worth it. The Salespeople, Foremen and Workers are all great and we will definitely use them again in the future.

The company was extremely professional and very responsive. The roofing specialist, Jack arrived at our home on time and provided us with a very straight-forward explanation of the roof replacement process and a good understanding of the products to be used on our remodel. We received a quote within two business days of the consultation that accurately memorialized all the of the elements of the job scope that Jack discussed with us. Ultimately we went with a different contractor for economic reasons and we were very pleased with the end result. We would certainly consider Franzoso Contracting for future projects.

The job was well done and the crew was completely professional. Very friendly and personable. Felt completely at ease with the crew. I did have a few issues with the windows and doors, but the company was extremely responsive and I am totally happy. My husband and I are looking to replace windows in our new condo. If the price is something we can live with, we would definitely use this company again.

I was happy with his services. I am considering hiring him again for my garage door repair.

The sales representative arrived and we sat for a sales presentation that last almost two hours. He was as I said, polite, knowledgeable, thorough. We could see that the company used the best of materials. We were inially impressed. When he gave the estimate for the work he was the highest of the three we had interviewed. On Angie's list it states that this company gives a 5 persent discount for seniors. We are seniors. When we asked about the discount we were told that the estimate that had been given was quite reasonable according to them - and therefore they couldn't offer us the discount. Quite honestly this really turned us off and was one of the main reasons we did not hire them. We feel it would have been a good sized job for them - 33 windows, full house siding and door. As I stated theirs was the highest of the estimates we had received. I believe they should reconsider stating they give the discount. They lost the job. We have hired Tri-State Window Factory to do the work. The project hasn't started as yet. Their estimate was lower. They also sent someone who gave us a detailed sales presentation. There materials are the same high quality as Franzoso. They have a high rating on Angie's List. When the project is completed I will be happy to fill out a report. The reason I didn't fill out a formal report for Franzoso is because we didn't hire them.

This was a tricky small roof section attached from the house to a glass conservatory. The section had slight leaks ever since we replaced the glass eight years ago, but neither the installers of the glass nor multiple handyman services were able to completely fix the problem, which became severe after last winter's snows. Several contractors bid on the job, but only Franzoso came up with a comprehensive plan to prevent leak problems now and far into the future. I gave an "A" rating on price because, although the price on a sq ft basis was higher than other estimates I received, the engineering advice was free, and avoiding future headaches, as the ads say, "priceless". Franzoso also accommodated my requests to reattach gutters along the back of the house, and to upgrade the roofing material, at no extra cost. When selling a home, leaks in sunrooms are always suspect. Now I can say with confidence, at a future date, that my sunroom roof is leak-tight. Very happy with the work and the professionalism of this company.

The 'A' grading isn't high enough for this company. Not only is all the staff a pleasure to deal with, they are professional and do what they say they're going to do and do it when they say they're going to do it. Our experience was great from the estimate to the completion of the job. When they found more damage than what was originally believed (they also had to rebuild walls), they immediately scheduled to have their crew continue and finish the work. They were always up front about possible additional costs, but overall we thought they were very reasonable. An incredibly responsive company.

The guy that came over was great. They have an excellent reputation. They do great work but were a little pricey.

From the quote to the completion of the project, the team at Franzoso was helpful and professional. Mark Sacherson quoted the job and cheerfully answered all of our questions. We never felt pushed to chose the most expensive option and no high pressure sales tactics were used. Once the project started, Edwin and his team were amazing. The site was left every day as if they had never been here at all. When there was an issue with our order, they apologized, fixed it, and offered to do a small side job for free (replacing the exterior trim on several addition windows to match the rest of the house). We couldn't be more pleased with the new windows and with the overall experience.

The entire experience was very smooth. The estimator gave me a prompt and detailed written estimate, and all extras were put into writing so there would be no confusion at the end. The workers were prompt, hardworking, and professional, and paid much attention to detail. They were able to do some additional repair work on the house that was discovered in the process (that my garage was sagging because it had no foundation under the supports, and they had to add a foundation to that area).They worked 6 days a week until the job was completed (a little over 2 weeks). And cleaned up everything really well when they were finished. Also, they didn't require much money upfront (only about $1500, on a $38,000 job), so you know that they are going to complete the job to your satisfaction if they don't get paid until the end. Highly recommended, and I would use them again in the future for other things (like roof, deck). The price was a little higher than some other estimates that I had gotten, but it was worth spending a little more to get good quality and professional workmanship from a reputable company.

they were great, easy to talk with they had very flexible times to come out and give the estimates. Their price was too high but we should have used them. The people who did the window replacements were terrible & damaged the house.

It was a smooth process. They were good. I would use them again in the future.

I am still looking for estimates. Their positives were that they were responsive and that they were thorough in their explanation of what they would do and how they would do it. They gave me the first to give me a quote and I am still in the process of getting quotes from other companies. So, it is a little early for me to comment on the quote, but it did seem a little high to me. They came out and gave me an estimate. I would consider them in the future.

Communication was difficult. I had to make several calls to schedule an appointment for an estimate. When we did get to the appointment they werre very professional, courteous, and informative. I waited several days for the estimate and then called several times to ask when I should expect the estimate, but never got a call back. I eventually received an email telling me that they don't work on slate roofs (even though I stated it was a slate roof from the very first call!). They wasted my time!

I called for estimate, Franzoso was the 4th in estimates, They came and were very prompt, curteous, and precise in what we would need. My husband is a carpenter so he knew they weren't just trying to sell more service. Estimate fell slightly lower then some others we had gotten and slightly higher then others. We decided to go with Franzoso based on the promptness and service recommendations of the estimator. Roughly 2 weeks afterwards I was called that the roofing crew would be here the two days later at roughly 8 AM. Not only where the contractors here on time they were slightly early. The roof took a day and from strip off to finish the crew was professional, curteous and cleaned up everything immaculately. Two days after roof was finished the gutter crew came and were exactly the same, very professional and curteous. I have nothing but HIGH praise for the entire staff and crews of Franzoso. My husband and I have another huge project (Expanding original house roof and creating 2 bedroms and 1 master bath upstairs) coming up and will be using Franzoso to do that project.
