+ -1 moreThey're fine. They're good. They give us excellent service. They show up consistently like they're supposed to. In fact, they showed up too many times when they really should not. There were several weeks that there was no rain and they still came in and mowed and that was suffering but other than that, they're excellent.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. I booked the special on Wednesday 4/16 and the work was performed today, Friday 4/18. The owner. Paul Granato, couldn't have been nicer. We talked at around 11:00 AM and the crew was here an hour later. The crew represented the company nicely.

My partner and I had been taking care of the lawn (about 6,000 square feet of lawn) ourselves until both of us sustained injuries late last summer (2013). Although we hadn't been prior customers, Emerald Lawn care managed to fit us into their schedule and took great care of our lawn for the rest of the lawn-growing season. .

+ 0 morePaul was very responsive when we called about the mowing and chemical treatments. His company had been referred to us by a friend. The crew mowed and trimmed every week. We received a call the day prior to any chemical treatments which was very important since we have a 3 year old and dogs. Our lawn was a disaster and Paul assured us that it could be revived. By the end of the season, the progress was amazing. Since the summer had been so dry, Paul recommended we aerate the lawn. We took his advise and were thrilled that we did. Instead of recommending the entire lawn and charging us for it, there were only sections that he felt needed to be done. His professionalism is amazing. Hopefuly, we will be able to use his company again this year.

+ 0 moreOverall I would say the owner of Emerald Lawn Care was great! He explained everything he was going to do in detail. Paul took the time to research the problem and was confident his approach and applications would correct the problem.
Description of Work: I had called Emerald Lawn Care for a specific problem with Ticks I had last year and I also wanted to treat the lawn for the season. During our conversation the owner said he would do some research on how to treat ticks as this was not a usual request. He got back to me in a short time and explained how he was going to treat for ticks based on information he had received from his venders. I would like to add that the area where I live has a high rate of ticks carrying Lyme disease. Treatment for Ticks will require two sprayings one early spring and one late fall which interrupts the tick cycle and should make our lawn safe. This treatment was an additional cost but was included in the above charge for the season. I have not received weed/fertilizer treatment as of yet so I can't make comments of the effectiveness at this time.
