Terrible, he refused to even repair the drive. It cost me an additional $1000 to have it repaired. After I had watched his driver slam the drive because he was stuck in the road(too light a truck for snow plowing)

they came on the day they stated and did a great job.

I was very pleased with the quality and reasonable price of their services, their punctuality, and their friendliness. In 2016, Emerald Lawn Care transferred accounts for at least two properties in my area to Northern Property Services. Although I was sorry that Emerald Lawn Care's service area has changed, I have been very happy with Northern Property Services, and I am grateful to Emerald for transferring the accounts in my area to another excellent provider.

Did an excellent job. Looking forward to hiring them again next summer.

They have one of those machines they ride around on. But they can't get to smaller areas with that. I think what they should do is, those small areas they can't get to on their machines, they should either have a handheld thing or use a spreader. They e-mail the day before and then they usually are punctual. We plan to use them next summer.

Cancelled first appointment for estimate; phone tag trying to reschedule. We have not heard back from them (a few weeks now). Guess we will move on...

The three things that matter to me on fertilizing is that the provider actually does the work, applies the correct product at the correct time and it is prompt and dependable. Emerald gets an "A" in all three categories with an additional plus: the cost is lower than those I have used in the past. I'm on automatic with Emerald. They email me before the seasonal application at which time I can opt out if I need to, otherwise they will come as scheduled. I like that. And Paul answers call promptly. I like that too.

Contacted Emerald Lawn Care in April to ask about tick treatment for yard. After taking my information, they called back in within five minutes with the cost. I was advised that they didn't start yard treatments until the weather and ground was warm enough which is usually the second week in May. They called to let me know when they were coming out (helpful, since I needed to keep kids and pets in and pick up toys in the yard). They came and treated the yard, closed gates behind them and posted the required signs. A great job at a reasonable cost. Very professional. I would recommend Emerald Lawn Care and will contact them for any future needs.

I called on 6/7/2015 to request an estimate for shrub/ hedge trimming, edging and general lawn mowing. I received a prompt return call. When I explained I wanted an estimate for the above services, I was told they were probably not the company I wanted because it would be at least 4 weeks before they could get to me, as they were booked. I said OK, I could wait, and what I was really interested in was getting an estimate for these services the next year, because for personal reasons, I would be unable to do it myself next year. At that point he told me I really did not want him because the business " might" be planning on phasing out lawn mowing/trimming and edging and focusing only on fertilizing and therefore they would likely not be available next year. Realizing he really did not want my business, I let it go. I would have preferred if he had simply told me they were overbooked and not taking new customers.

Sent email reminder day before, showed up on time and worked efficiently. There are two adjoining lawns and one across the street that are serviced at the same time.

First off, we are relatively new home owners and we pride ourselves in the do it yourself attitude. Very seldom do we hire others, because we enjoy the pride of knowing that we did it. After 3 years, we realized that as good as our lawn was, it needed some professional help to make it "pop" and we did not have the time to do it all, so I contacted Emerald Lawn Care. The price estimate for the job was delivered within a week and while they said they were booked out until mid-June yet amazingly, they were able to fit us in on May 15th, which was really helpful... Now, the quality of the landscaping.... it was done while my husband and I were at work and when we came home... WOW FACTOR!!!! It was amazing. If Angie's List offered "A+," they should do it for Emerald Lawn Care. We could not be happier, it was absolutely perfect. The edges on the beds were crisp, deep, defined, beautifully shaped and the mulch spread out like a perfect carpet... No flowers or freshly sprouted bulbs were smothered. If we could post pictures, we would. The neighbors watching were in awe of their efficiency and quality. Emerald Lawn Care will be our go to landscapers from hence forward. Unbelievable value for the money, and my husband's achy back is most grateful for their help. Thank you so much.

I received a contract for the work the seasons lawn care which I signed and sent back. In a short period of time I was sent the list of chemicals and the manufactures explanation of their product, safety, hazards to humans etc. I was notified each time prior to each treatment and I was left a receipt explaining the treatment given for that day. Because we have a tick and flea problem in the Syracuse area I had requested a Spring and Fall spraying, to knock out the ticks and fleas. I have not seen a tick or flea on my dog or any family member since.

Two gentlemen showed up and applied the fertilizer to the lawn. They were here for about 15 minutes and completed the job. The company emails you the day before they arrive and everything works as scheduled. Our lawn look great and people always comment on how nice it looks.

It went extremely well. The owner came to my house quite soon after I contacted them. He gave me a very fair estimate, and all work was completed almost immediately! The grounds looked wonderful all summer/fall, and I never had to think twice about anything. I look forward to continuing to work with this company.

I was very satisfied with the service, from the first phone call with the owner, Paul Granato, where I scheduled the appointment, to the end of the appointment when the project manager approached me, asking if everything looked alright. I felt that the work ethic was superior to what I generally find in the lawn care services in my area, and the project manager was extremely friendly and went out of his way when the job was finished to chat with me for a couple of minutes, making sure I was pleased with everything. Paul Granato is a top-notch professional who seems to take pride in his business. I've used lawn care services and/or received quotes in the past where I found that either the price was too high, the quality of the work was poor, and/or the workers were unprofessional in their presentation. Not so with Emerald Lawn Care! I will not only use this service again this year, but I will also refer it to my friends and family. If it were not for Angie's List, I'd never have found Emerald Lawn Care. Thank you for a very pleasant experience and a job well done!

We needed to rent our home and our previous tenants neglected the lawns and trees surrounding the house. It looked like a jungle with weeds 1 feet tall. I called them to come out to give me a quote on wednesday and being this a rush work, they came Friday morning at 8 and by the time they left at 3pm, our home lawns looked beautiful again. The crew was very professional and hard working. They did everything we asked and were always very friendly and professional. We read many reviews from other providers but their reviews looked most reassuring and now after being serviced by them, we can say that they truly lived up to their reviews. Emerald was very easy to communicate with. They responded quickly to my messages on Angie's List. The service was performed as scheduled with no problems.

It was fine. The scheduling was good but I did have to follow up with them.

Paul from Emerald Lawn called me back promptly and explained the service to me. He sent someone over to the house right away to measure the grass area so that accurate estimate could be made. A contract that was entirely reasonable and based on square footage was sent immediately. Emerald was at our house within one week. Paul called to let us know when they would arrive. Services are paid for as rendered (7 treatments over the year). I can't yet comment on the ultimate outcome of the service, but I've been impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the company. We will use them for aeration and seeding in the fall as well.

They called and setup a time to perform the work. I left for work in the morning and when I returned at the end of the day, my yards, both front and back, were edged and mulched. Very neat and clean... Very professional.
