We had just purchased the house and hadn't moved in yet, so Bob arranged to do tour the property and give us an estimate over the phone (we lived over an hour away so this was such a nice help and saved us a long trip). The original estimate was for $1,200 to remove all the pine trees and shrubs and to grind all the stumps. Bob was able to schedule the service only a few days later, but when the day came it was raining so hard that he had to postpone it for one day. That was fine by us--we appreciated his concern about our yard and the safety of his crew. The next day he showed up early, did a final walk-around to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. It was then that we asked him to remove an additional tree, this one a medium-sized maple in the front yard. He agreed and said it would only be an additional $100. He then advised that his crew would arrive within the hour and be done in less than 4 hours. I told him to call me when he was almost done and I would drive back out from work and review everything and also pay him. Accordingly, Bob called me ~5 hours later when they were almost done. I went to the job site--they had done a great job--and paid him the amount due. That was when I also found out that they had taken it upon themselves to trim back one of the town's trees since it was dangerously hanging a dead branch over our roof. I thought it was great that he did that and that he didn't charge me any extra for it! Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

They were wonderful. He is the best tree guy. He got back to me before anybody and I immediately hired him since I felt that he was good. He did a lot of work and the price was more than fair. He is a really nice guy. I have used two guys and one guy cut his thumb off. So that’s why I haven’t been using him. The guy from Bob’s Tree & Stump Service came with the cherry pickers and he also had a wood chipper. He came within a week. We had a big storm here and we were without power for at least 15 days. So he came really fast and I told him exactly what I wanted him to do. I wanted to get rid of all the limbs above my roof. He worked on 4 trees. He is the owner and also does the job. His work crew and he were polite and conscientious. They blew the debris and picked it all up. It looks like no one had been here. This is the first time I used his services. I would definitely use his services in the future too.

They took down a very large spruce tree that was dying. It was located between the wires for the street and the wires to the house and involved both cherry pickers and climbers. In addition, they took down two very large limbs on a Norway Maple in the Front, and two larger limbs in the back. They were very efficient, polite and even offered to cut up some of the Norway Maple logs because we heat with wood. They took a little over an hour. I'd definitely use them again.

THE COMPANY ARRIVED ON TIME WITH A CREW OF SEVEN TO PERFORM THE WORK. THEY WORKED VERY COOPERATIVELY AND HAD ALL OF THE WORK COMPLETED BY MID AFTERNOON. THEY RETURNED THE NEXT DAY TO REPAIR SOME LAWN DAMAGE. ALL IN ALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOB'S TREE SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Bob provided a very good price for removing my tree, he showed up when he said he would, was very professional and did a great job with no damage. I am very pleased with his work and would recommend and use again.

Bob's did a great job. Bob met with me at the start of the project to go over all the tasks. The workers were friendly and helpful; one noticed a particular tree had a significant amount of dead branches and he made sure it was okay to remove all of it as it was more thinning than I had asked. My father-in-law, walking by, asked them to also trim a row of shrubs, which they also did. They left the yard very clean, and Bob checked back with me at the end of the work to make sure I was happy with the end result.

They were fine. They were terrific. They came out on an afternoon and trimmed the maple tree. They did the other work, the next day. They were good. The best thing about them was that the owner was onsite. I’ll be using them again, next year.

His estimate was good and he was able to do the work quickly, so we chose him. I liked that he was able to get rid of the stump as well. I would call him again.

The really did more than I asked them to do for the price. They showed up and finished when they were expected to and went above and beyond.

I took their name out of the phone book. We did get several estimates and they were the best price. Bobs Tree & Stump Service does good work, we had them do 2 other trees. They do such a good job removing stumps and all debris you don't realize there was anything done at all.
