Overcharged and under delivered. I have no idea how they get all these positive reviews. Maybe they write their own reviews. We got ripped off and got a second-rate job as well.

Paul provided competitive pricing for tree removal but unfortunately was not responsive to scheduling, poor follow up. First discussed removal with him in February, still was trying to get ahold of him to nail down start date nearly 3 months later when he finally just stopped responding. Disappointing, would not recommend.

This is the second time Paul has had a crew in my yard. About 3 years ago, they spent a day here taking down a large number of dead ash trees. When they left, the yard was completely cleaned-up, graded and seeded. I called him earlier this week to see if he could take down a few more dead trees and plant some new. He told me he'd be there by 8am today - he was here by 7:45. The crew started promptly and did a great job - the new trees look great! I would absolutely recommend Bob's (and have) to anyone looking for a reliable tree service.

Work was done punctually, safely, swiftly and with our backyard gazebo, shed, fence, etc in mind. All workers were courteous. They were the only company that we didn't have to take apart our fence and use the neighbors yard to enter. The owner Paul was wonderful to work with and always returned text messages. Cost was cheaper than all other companies and still excellent work and customer service. Highly recommend!

Very good job! It was amazing to watch the tree come down with precision and to realize how much strength and workmanship and trust the people had in each other while removing the limbs then the tree. Very happy with the service and politeness of the men involved. I highly recommend them!

It went very well. Paul called me Friday. He and his team came today (Tuesday). Quick, friendly service.

I requested quotes from six people five showed up. Bob's fell right in the middle of the group. After talking with Paul (the owner) about their process, time table, giving me certificates of insurance and really asking questions even about his equipment I felt most comfortable going with him. They showed up when they said they would his team worked absolutely great together each knowing exactly what they had to do. This tree extended into two neighbor's yards and they did a bang out job ! Everything was picked up and they were very professional ! I dont say this often but I am extremely pleased with their work and glad I chose them. I absolutely would recommend them.

I just want to say Bob’s tree and stump service is an awesome company! Paul, who is the owner, is absolutely fair, professional, and does things the right way. I had quotes from other companies, some trying to really rip me off, but Paul came in with a really fair and reasonable price right from the start which I truly appreciated. They came in and it was quite amazing to watch them work with precision and care. There were so many trees right next to my house and how they handled them was impressive. After they finished cutting the trees, they removed the stumps and took away the grounds and cleaned up everything. I don’t know another company that would actually do that! I have to say it was a great experience and I would highly recommend anyone looking to get tree service to use Bob’s. I wouldn’t even bother calling anyone else as it would be a waste of your time. We are extremely happy with the work Paul and his team performed. The job was finished ahead of schedule and the yard looked great when they finished. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Paul has a crew that work great together, are professional and very knowledgeable of the task at hand. We were impressed with the short time it took to get the tree down, grind down the limbs and cleanup. We have some more trees that will need to come down and we will be hiring Bobs Tree and Stump Service when we're ready.

Great-very thorough, professional and cleaned everything up. Even sent someone over a few days later to remove oil that was left on the driveway from one of their trucks.

They did a very good job. I am very satistied. They had a competitive estimate and it's really worth it. I am very pleased with the job. I thanked Angie's List for that as well.

They were hands down the best price. Even half of another service. The staff is VERY pleasant, helpful and efficient. They made what we thought was going to be a very big project easy. We were very pleased.

Voice mail was full both tomes I called but returned call from text messages. Arrived on time and completed work quickly. Final price was higher than original estimate even though the power company had removed branches near the power lines after estimate. Stump was not taken down as far as I would have liked.

The trees that needed to be removed were large and very precariously positioned (near a garage, multiple properties, and power lines). Paul came over shortly after I called, surveyed the scene, and gave me an extremely fair quote right then and there. While it did take a while for his crew to show up, it was a very rainy season and delays happen. The entire job was done in one day. I was not present for the work but my girlfriend was there around lunch time and said there was an 8-10 person crew working all over. Small scuff on my garage from what I assume was one of the huge branches and the lawn was a little messed up by the machines but this was kind of expected. They cleaned everything up. Would absolutely recommend these guys again. Easy-going hard workers that definitely deserve to be on your short list if you need trees removed.

The job ended up taking 2 - 4 to 6 hour days to complete. Day one, they did all of the aerial work on the limb clearing and dropped the dead tree. They came in about 20 minutes later than expected and were a bit rushed towards the end of the day as they had another job to go to; however, the limb/tree clearing was done very professionally, and surprisingly quickly, for a two man team. Day two, three days later, they came back with a total of 5 men and an array of equipment. Again they were about 30 - 45 minutes later than expected, but went to work almost immediately with chainsaws, skidloader, bobcat, stump grinder, and large chipper/shredder to clear away downed limbs/tree, remove stumps, and clear out the brush/log piles and drainage ditch. All of the employees were professional and congenial and worked very hard and very quickly. After completing the main work, they cleaned off the driveway and porches and other areas of any debris from the work. I was very impressed with their speed and hard work. They don't have brand new, 'flash' equipment like some of the companies in the business; but their gear works great, and their people do an excellent job. I was thoroughly impressed with their work and pleased with the price. I'd definitely use them again and would highly recommend them

They were quick to tackle the job after I first called them. And there is no sign of the tree or stump, and all debris was fastidiously cleaned up.

Went very well. They completed the work in roughly 1 week after getting the quote. Left the area where work was done in great shape.

Great. The team was efficient and respectful. There were five guys working and they took the tree down, took care of the branches and moved the large wood off to the side (we wanted it to burn). Prior to the work, they came out quickly to do an estimate and then scheduled the work around my schedule.

Did an excellent job in removal and cleanup of trees. Sometimes difficult to contact. Followup not always prompt with phone messages.
