Great Job Bill!

Spoke to him again today. He had much personal issues going on. Promised to call me on Wed. He is a very nice, sincere guy and I felt he deserves another chance. We'll see!!! 9/14, I did give him another try and he did an excellent job, saving me purchasing a new window and fan. He was able to order parts and installed them. I am going to use him to redo the main bathroom and he is to begin in two weeks.

Bill is totally professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. His work speaks for himself. Everything was taken care of , had to make a few runs to home depot to pick up a few parts.Will use him again and will recommend him. Great Guy!

Was polite and punctual however their estimate was 2800 dollars which I knew was high. Got excellent work from someone else for 1600 dollars

I called Bill on a Sunday because of a clogged and leaking drain. He came that same day. He repaired the leaking pipe but the sink was still clogged. Bill said he would return the next day to try to snake out the pipes but clearly explained that snaking might not work and that the clogging might be due to corroding inside the old galvanized pipes in my home. He said he would try snaking and if that didn't work he wouldn't charge me for the service. The next day when the snaking didn't work, I agreed to have Bill come the next day to replace the piping. Bill worked many hours the next day, removing and replacing the corroded pipe. I was fortunate to have found a very skilled, personable, and helpful handyman like Bill White. He works in a neat and careful manner and is clearly very interested in doing quality work. It was a pleasure dealing with a person who has a pride in his work like Bill. I will definitely be calling on his services again in the future.

Did not go well at all. He never showed up and did not call. Ended up calling Home Depot and having them do the installation.

Bill promptly responded to my morning call and came over to see what I wanted done. After measuring the planks to be replaced, he called the lumberyard to get a price for the required material. He then gave me the cost for material and labor, which I agreed to. We then agreed that he would start and complete the work the same afternoon of the day I called him. I couldn't be more pleased with the cost, timing and the expert and efficient manner in which Bill complete the work I wanted done. I would definitely recommend him to others and would use him for other projects in the future.

I had found Bill White/Helpful Handyman Home Improvement on Angie's List a couple of months ago. He had quite a few positive reviews, so I felt pretty comfortable calling him to replace an old, 1950's era wood door on the side of our garage. The first time I contacted him it was via Angieslist messaging. I figured I'd have to wait around a few days to hear back, but I was pleased to see he responded within the hour, asking me to call after 5 to discuss the job. He came that same week to give me a free estimate, which I felt was fair, so I decided to go ahead with him. We had a few back-and-forth messages (and he always responded to my messages promptly) before we found a day and time that worked for both of us. On the day of the job, he was running a few minutes late, and immediately let me know, which I appreciated. He worked quickly, neatly, and was very precise in what he was doing - qualities that are important in a contractor. He finished the job that day, and the door looks great. We are very pleased with the quality of Bill's work, and we hope to use him again to install a new back door on our house. I would also recommend him to any of my friends who needed a handyman.

Bill arrived on time and completed the install in half day. His work was neat and clean. The covers were built in his shop and were the perfect addition to the character of the home. They are well made as well as pretty to look at. I do have plans to do more work in our home and would definitely hire Bill again!

He was prompt and came when he said he would. Did the job well and fast. This is not a major job but I was sufficiently impressed by his manner that I intend to call him again for a bunch of interior tasks.

Bill arrived precisely when he said he would, and worked straight through the day. He was professional, neat, and as quiet as this kind of construction allows. When all was done, he walked us through what had been involved in the repair, offering suggestions as to the causes and tips for maintaining the porch. We couldn't be more satisfied with the level of service.

It went very well - even after he discoverd how botched up the original job was. Though admittedly, the old job did hold up for 20 years. If his holds up that long, and I'm sure it will, there can be no complaints. You can only hope that the work you need done is something he can do - though I'm pretty sure there isn't much he can't do. He is prompt, courteous and very neat. He even cleaned out everything under the old steps - something nobody would EVER see.

I contacted this handyman and set up an appointment. He came on time and looked at the work I needed. He said he could do the work and would send me an estimate in two days. I never heard from him again. I just wish that if he did not want to do the work he had just said so. I waited ten days then contacted someone else.

Bill was prompt, polite, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely be calling him again for both small jobs like this one and larger ones.

I found Bill White on Angie's List and I'm glad I did. He is a skilled craftsman who does quality work. The wood handrail he built is sturdy, functional and attractive. Bill is a perfectionist who takes the time to do the job right. And that is greatly appreciated! I will certainly use his services again.

All of the above and more was expertly completed in a timely manner. I believe what makes Bill's work special is the fact that he looks out for the homeowner's best interests; when my requests were impractical or too expensive, he courteously helped me to understand what would be the most practical way to do something. His skills in so many areas are really amazing. He has years of practical knowledge that he brings to each job. He has the patience to explain what needs to be done, and the most efficient way to do the work.
