Description of Work: BIll is a CRAFTSMAN by any standard. His prices are absolutely fair. That's the reason he first comes to mind whenever we need work around this 100 year old house. The most recent work was to replace the old worn out closet doors with 5 spectacular, Bahama louvre doors and install appropriate, matching moldings around the doors. In addition, he replaced the old, dented, rusted radiator covers. To top it off, he painted the rooms a beautiful shade of teal with white ceiling and trim. He'll be used again for our next project.

Description of Work: I contacted Bill because of a broken latch on my sliding glass door. I sent him a few pics. Instead of charging me his house call plus parts, he gave me the opportunity to fix it myself. He told me what part I need, where to get it and where to find instructions on installation. Now that is a stand up guy. Will definitely call again. Thanks Bill

Description of Work: Helpful Handyman repaired our pull-down attic stairs. The hardware had become bent, eventually came off, and had to be replaced. Bill ordered the replacement parts and reinstalled it. |I couldn't be happier with his service. He is very responsive, knowledgeable, and skilled- there doesn't seem to be anything he can't repair. I will definitely hire him again!

Description of Work: Helpful Handyman was not used. Apparently there was a communication problem. When we first started out, it was good. The gentleman came on time. We went through all the work that I wanted done. The gentleman gave several suggestions that made a lot of sense. We checked into some doors at the lumber yard that was suggested. After I got pricing on the doors, I have called Helpful Handyman at least six times over a period of time. There was never a called back. The reason I contacted Helpful Handyman was because of the great Angie's List he received and all the good reviews. I definitely would not refer him to someone. Communication goes a long way but in this case it did not.
