Very professional, extremely well done. Went out of way to point out broken cap and replace.

The service was excellent but I felt the price, even with the Angies List discount, was extremely high as the time entailed to do the work only took a couple of hours and the materials used were minimal. The problem was that it was a blind repair and the work needed to be done immediately as a downstais toilet was't flushing. It would have been a problem calling other companies for comparison prices at that time.

Water backing up into basement shower. Called and scheduled appointment for next morning. Paul showed up, dug through at least 2 feet of snow to find the pool covers and promptly started working. Very friendly. Will need to replace cesspool in the Spring and will be using PRIORITY for the job.

John (owner/boss) coordinated the service and scheduled us between 10 & 11am. Paul & Mike showed up a little after 1pm. Now just to be fair, we've had some pretty nasty weather this month. So for them to even make it to my house today was pretty impressive. When they showed up they got right to work. After they noticed a couple of things they explained what needed to be done. I really did appreciate how straight-forward they were. They even went extra step to unclog a blocked pipe caused by the cesspool backing up. We really did catch this problem just in time. It could have been a lot worse. I would, definitely, call these guys again.

I needed them because I had several slow or blocked toilets and because it had been several years since my septic tank was pumped out. Fully trusting Angie's List, I completed the online form for Priority's sewer service deal and submitted the form. I thought they might call me on Sunday, and come to my home on the Monday. Instead, I never heard from them at all. They didn't call, or write, or email or respond in any way. Eventually, I cleared the clogs myself, and forgot about them. But I was certainly surprised that an "A" rated Angie's List company would completely fail to follow up on an Angie's List customer, especially one with a toilet clog.

John was extremely easy to contact and returned calls immediately. He came for an estimate right away. He was extremely personable, and friendly. When he began the job we were not home and while he thought that we needed to replace our cesspool, he actually found that we didn't need to and he ended up installing 2 new concrete covers on our cesspools and replace the line between the main and overflow tank. This actually cost us over $1,000.00 LESS than he had originally estimated. Since we were not home, quite frankly, he could have told us anything and charged us anything but he is honest and a true professional. He is EXTREMELY honest, personable and efficient.

Priority Cesspool did a great job. They came promptly, which I appreciated since our cesspool backed up into our basement! They took care of everything, and were polite and professional.

We had an emergency when the drain overflowed into the basement. After getting an absurdly high price quote from another company we called around and found Priority Cesspool. They had much better pricing and knowledgeable staff. They arrived promptly the next morning and were extremely professional and courteous. Did a great job. I would use them again without hesitation.

My house was built in 1956 and I had an old block cesspool that backed up at least once and sometimes twice a year. I needed to replace it so I went on Angie's list. I chose priority because in their reviews, I saw they had replaced quite a few cesspools compared to the other companies reviewed. I also saw how many reviews of satisfied customers and high grades. There was the usual phone tag and most of the time John, the company phone doesn't get answered quickly, but I eventually realized why (he's the owner and he is deeply involved with every job and running a huge machine, how can he get all his phone calls. Big time forgiven, I like an owner that isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty). Finally he returned my call and made an appointment to figure out what we needed. I had bought the house 5 years prior and was told, when I bought the house that there was a new overflow and cesspool and it was in good shape. John quickly came out and was very forthcoming and professional. He laid out exactly what he was going to do and how long it was going to take. He said if he can use the newer overflow he will and he gave me two estimates. Then He even gave me a magnate and pen, red flag, LOL. (After getting to know John, he's just that nice and believes in his work enough to do that, so in the end, it all made sense) Out of 3 other estimates he was in the middle as far as price but as far as his professionalism and his down to earth personality we decided to give him the job. There was a trust thing that he brought to his estimate. When it came time to do the job he came on time and dug up the the old overflow to discover it was too small, not deep enough and wasn't even working. I was there as proof. It was a shoddy job to say the least and is the reason why there was a back up every 6 months. Plan 2 was implemented which included a new septic tank as governed by Huntinton NY, and new overflow with two 10' rings and a dome. It took him two days because of Huntington's inspector which passed and then he backfilled and cleaned up. He even remarked about our dead dogwood tree and asked if I wanted him to cut it down for us. He actually asked me, took out his chainsaw and cut it down and neatly piled it up next to the road for pick up. He's the owner mind you! Who does that these days?! His men were courteous and professional and extremely safety conscious. Anytime I got close to the edge they would quickly tell me to be careful. WOW!!!! Not only would I recommend them but they will be servicing my brand new cesspool. Thanks John and crew, you were amazing!

It was a hot steamy night....I knew sh*t would hit the fan.........and it almost did! My house was built in 1986, I am the original owner. My cesspool has never been serviced or had a problem..... until.....I was able to tell that my 12 year old basement sewage ejector pump was making crazy sloshing noises in the waste line and wouldn't shut off. And this was when no one was using the basement facilities, just the upstairs shower. So I figured we were heading to an eventual clog, but wasn't exactly certain. My wife and I decided not to use any bathroom, shower, or washer until we called someone who knew their sh*t. I decided to join Angie's List on 11/9/14, having never been a member before. This job i felt required someone with knowledge on proper repair and not a "handy man". I searched for a provider within 5 miles and decided on Priority Cesspool Sewer and Drain (PCSD) after reading 50 of the over 140 reviews. I gave owner John a call late in the evening of 11/9/14 and left a message. I went to bed with my phone ready on the nightstand cause PCSD prides itself on customer service, so I felt confident i would receive a call in the morning. BINGO! John calls at 7:20 am. I explain what is happening and he LISTENS!!!! Then he tells me it seems my symptoms are from a full cesspool, but to be sure he will have his employee check it out to be certain. He states he could be there around 10. Cooool. Employee Paul arrives at 10 with super pumper truck and hands that probably could crush a VW Beetle. I explain what is happening and he agrees it is probably a clogged tank. Paul is fantastic in his explanation of how the system works and what is causing the problem. I provided a survey and he was able to locate both tanks. They were 2 feet down. He effortlessly dug through the hard clay soil to reach the first tank. Naturally, an irrigation line was laying on top of it, and he said he would re-attach it. Placed a tarp over lawn as he dug out a 4 foot circle. Put in a raised collar so it would be easier to service for follow up cleanings. NICE. All the while, he explained what he was doing and why. There never was a surprise charge for anything. Pumped this one out which was full to the top!! Next overflow tank was also filled to the top. He put a 6" access tube on this overflow tank making this also easier for future service calls. He asked where I wanted the excess dirt placed, and filled an area around house with it. The first tank had about a 4 foot diameter of sod removed and the overflow about 18". All sod replaced and tamped down like nothing ever happened. Neat & complete. NICE!!! I felt a lot of anxiety on my part about this, being unfamiliar with cesspool systems in general. Priority Cesspool Sewer & Drain made it easy to trust Paul's expertise in doing this work. The equipment they use is in exceptional condition and they can handle any problem hands down. I find PCSD prices to be in the middle range. Don't forget that my cost would have been lower, had I taken care of the system earlier and avoided "exploratory" surgeryto find everything. But forget price for a second......when this happens you want a knowledgable person to LISTEN and SHOW UP when promised with equipment in great condition that can handle the job. And PCSD did!!! So.......don't hesitate........don't be a FRAIDY cat.......give them a call.

The service was provided more than a year ago. This was the best contractor I have ever dealt with. Pros: -The owner was at the site the whole time -Price -They cleaned up everything very well and put together the fence - Big project was finished up in one day(they worked late to the night) - Everything works well a year later Nice guys

Great. Service was provided to my cesspool. The service tech was even able to locate my overflow pool which no one previously had been able to do. Great company and great service. I will use them again.

Needed a cesspool cover replaced. The quoted me the best price. When they came they discovered it was actually covering an old buried oil drum and hauled it away for free, telling me to fill it with dirt. An unscrupulous company may have never told me and swapped them or lied and said it needed an expensive cover but not Priority! They checked my cesspools while at the house and we found them full. They gave me a great price, had a guy come out that day, and didn't charge me a dime for the original cesspool cover service call. Reasonable, friendly, honest and priced right: I will definitely be using them again in the future! Another great Angie's List find!

Very respectful of property and clean. Gave a good explanation of the problem and make recommendations to avoid future problems. Quick response to phone calls.

In order to replace the pipes to the cesspool they had to cut a section of my sidewalk out and remove a small retaining wall. After they were done they repaired sidewalk and retaining wall. There were no extra fee for this work. I also had a tree stump that was not involved with the job. The owner said he could remove it for me at no charge if I wanted. Of course I took him up on the offer. From start to finish the job took was less than 6 hours. Definitely would use them in the future.

d have Paul arrived late afternoon, as schedued, and set to finding the cesspool. Once found, rapidly established that the pool needed emptying & servicing and that the house main drain was blocked. dealt with the problem, serviced the pool & cleaned up very efficiently. I was extremely happy with Paul's services. Friendly, efficient, professional & up front. I would have no hesitation & recommending the company & now know who to call if needed again!!! Good job !!!

Paul was great. I learned a lot about how to maintain my system in the future. He placed a collar on my overflow tank for future inspection and servicing. You almost can't tell he was here. I highly recommend Priority to service your septic system. Impeccable service.

It went just fine there are ruts in the ground in the front yard were they had to drive to get to the back that is the only not so nice thing but the yard in the back was pretty good

After discovering a flood from my utility sink in the basement, I figured I had a clogged line but knew I was due for a cesspool cleaning as well. You only need to clean up a flood of fecal material once from an overfilled cesspool to make sure you maintain it regularly...ugh. I left a message in early morning and got a call back within an hour and 45 minutes later had a tech at my door! That's impressive!! Since I have done this every 3 years or so for the past 35 years I was well aware of the procedure and the price but the company I used was no longer in business so after reading reviews I decided to give priority a try. The tech was a doll, confirmed the clog, found the opening of the cesspool easily and was done quickly. He informed me that although the previous company most likely removed the surface solids the sludge had not been removed and there was a lot of it. They removed all the sludge from both the cesspool and the overflow unit, treated with chemicals and gave me a list of thing to do (or not to do) to optimize treatment results. No one ever told me not to run the dishwasher for 24 hours, no baths for 24 hours, keep flushing and showers to a minimum for 24 hours... The price was about the same that I had paid 3 years ago for what I now know was lesser service so I was very pleased. Since this was my only day off the quick response was priceless and my fears of cesspool overflow and cleanup are gone...I'll sleep good tonight. Highly recommended.

The tech Paul knew his stuff, found exactly where the cap to the cesspool was before putting a shovel in the ground. Dug down to the exact spot, clean out the cesspool and installed a new collar so next time it would be an easier and cheaper experience. Paul was extremely professional and personable, not to mention he worked like 3 men, never took a break. I was extremely pleased with the job and conversing with Paul. Overall they were very professional and did a great job. This was a maintenance call and no backup and hopefully we do not get one anytime soon. They were here for about 2 and 1/2 hours and did what they said they would. We would use them again in the future.
