I selected Priority as they were local to my neighborhood and recommended by Angie's List. John the owner called me within five minutes of me leaving my initial message. I explained that I believed my cesspool was full and that I thought I may need a replacement as the cesspool was original to the house (built 1965) and I recently been experiencing some on-going issues with the cesspool . John sent his serviceman Paul to my home within a few hours of my call and Paul pumped the cesspool and he was very polite and professional. It took a little bit of work for Paul to find where the access cap was, as I have a front walk covered in pavers and belgium block that partially covered the cap. I knew that the pipe was located under my front deck, which also had a built in retaining wall and planter box attached to it, and I told Paul that I was concerned the masonry work would be damaged should a replacement be necessary. He immediately called John the owner, who came right over to inspect. It was determined due to the indenting of my lawn and the age of the house that I should replace the cesspool. I should say it was recommended, I never felt pressured to do the replacement and I agreed, especially as I have children and it is located near my walkway. John assured me that he could preserve my walkway and retaining wall by digging underneath the wall to access the pipe, which would be an additional charge, but what I felt would be lower than having a mason do it, along with the aggravation of scheduling the mason in conjunction with the new install. The job was a complete success! Even given the fact that it was almost 100 degrees that day and John and his son Rob worked tirelessly in full sun all day long! They were extremely polite, professional and tidy even though they nearly developed heat stroke! I would, without a doubt, recommend Priority Cesspool and John and his staff to all of my neighbors and friends. Thank you for making a crappy job (sorry, couldn't resist) bearable!

Everything went great. The owner, John Peters, is truly a class act. Fantastic to work with. John and his crew did a really good job. Took about 6 hours and it was a tremendous job, and done very well. They took a lot of time to clean up properly and John even ended up reducing the price in the end as the job turned out to be a bit easier than anticipated. I have NEVER in my life experienced this before, and it just proves the John is an HONEST businessman. And I can tell you, he and his crew work very hard. I recommend Priority Cesspool without hesitation.

They came on time, were right on with the estimate, and were neat and clean. I even got a 10% Angie's List discount! Upon their departure the property was in better shape than when they came. They explained exactly what they were doing and why they needed to do it.

John and his crew arrived punctually at 8:00 as promised. They immediately set to work excavating the two old cesspools. They work extremely efficiently and well as a team. We were amazed that the "damage" to the front lawn was minimal.This is due to John's God-given talent with the backhoe ! They diligently used some of our dug-up dirt to fill in our old dry well . Both jobs were completed in a truly professional manner. John stayed until any/all problems were dealt with and complete. John makes what could be an invasive ordeal into a day the beach with his sunny personality and disarming honesty. It was a pleasure to employ Priority Cesspools. They have the highest recommendation from us!

John and his workers get an "A+" from a very tough grader ! If all service workers who came to my home were like John , I would not have that feeling of dread before a service call. John said he'd be at my house at 8:00...he was there at 7:55 with his gang all set to go. The work is impeccable and not done in a heated rush . Due to the extent of the excavation, I expected my ntire front lawn to be ruined. John's "surgical touch" in excavating followed by a great grading job limited amount of lawn to be reseeded as well as keeping our flower garden in the front totally intact .He stayed until all problems associated with the job were rectified...not common nowadays. The cleanup was great...something I'm pleasantly surprised by .John also reminds me of the service workers of years ago who took great pride in their work. In addition, John has a winning personality , and automatically instills a sense of confidence in his customers. Finally, our dog loved him...and he has a flawless canine intuition about people.

John and his team are AMAZING!!! The experience could have been very scary if it was not for his easy going, honest, and comforting demeanor. We live in a very small cottage in Port Jefferson Village. John was able to work his excavator with medical grade precision. We were able to leave a newly installed fence in the front of the house untouched. In the back of the house, John was able to drive and maneuver the excavator when multiple other companies told us it couldn't be done. Not only did he make us feel at ease, knowing that we were dealing with the owner of the company and someone incredibly skilled, he seemed to really enjoy the process. Watching John and his team work at our home was like watching kids in a sandbox, they got the work done, and everyone was smiling and laughing throughout the process. John and his team, which consists of family members) were responsible, respectful, and like dealing with members of our own family. We highly recommend this company if you want the job done right!

John the owner immediately returned my phone call even though it was after hours. Because our toilets were not backed up it was not considered an emergency but he promised that Paul would be at our house bright and early the next morning (7am). Sure enough Paul came as expected and worked tirelessly in the rain/snow to first locate our cesspool. My husband wrongly guided him to one place but after two hours (no charge) he widened his search and immediately found it. He needed to dig two feet down to find the cap and that cost extra and then he pumped out about 1,000 gallons of waste. I would definitely hire them again.
