When Priority came to give me a free estimate I was very happy that he had questioned me at length about what I needed done, (about past experiences, about how many services I have had in the past etc. ) after he evaluated the situation he told me that he believed that I had no overflow cesspool which is why the system was not working to the best of its ability in the first place and that is why I continued to have problems. John had so much patience and was very clear about why things were not working the way they were suppose to work, until I really understood things, since I have felt totally taken advantage of in the past that was much appreciatied that he did not rush me and get annoyed at my questions and even after many people told me that I HAD to have an overflow. I watched Priority and their team work from start to finish and was amazed at how well things went. They dug up my front lawn only in the area that was needed even though it meant moving dirt two and three times to just maintain the small area. They left my lawn better leveled than it was when they go there. They installed 2 rings and a dome, brought the original cesspool ring up so that it was easier to open to be service in the future if necessary. ( something the past 4 cesspool companies had NOT mentioned. I have already started to refer them and if it were not for ANGIES list I might not of found them. Thank you to Angies List!

You would think that dealing with the necessity of cleaning out a septic tan would be a crappy job - and you'd be correct! The thing is I didn't have to deal with any of it - a really good thing. I contacted Priority in the morning and spoke with the owner, John. He informed me that someone from his company would be at my home later that day and gave me a 2-hour arrival window. Frank, a Priority employee and licensed technician was there when he was supposed to be - I even got a call about 30 minutes before he arrived letting me know he was on the way. The job was handled quickly and professionally. I could not have been more pleased. I highly recommend these guys!

Had a problem with my toilets not flushing on Thursday, called Priority about 6pm that night, they actually answered, scheduled an appointment for 9am the next morning. Paul showed up on time, and i explained the problem with the toilets and that i hadn't had the cesspool pumped since I've been in the house (8 years).. Also I didn't know exactly where it was located.. Both the main and overflow were located, and they needed to be pumped out. After pumping, my toilets still didn't flush, he then ran the hose in the fresh air line and cleared it out. Toilets flushed, but very slowly. He took the time to go on my roof and check the main vent to see if it was clear, wich it was. Checked both toilets, adjusted the toilet to stop it from running.. Had to roto snake the main trap, and the whole line in the house. Also had to snake the toilet itself.. Finally the toilets flushed normally and there were no problems.. I must say he worked extremely hard to fix the situation, and seemed determined to make sure he got it right.. I would highly recommend this company, and will definitely use them again.. This was the first company i have used since joining Angie's list, and I'm extremely happy with the result.

Called company due to a full rear cesspool - I spoke with John the owner who answered the telephone and told him of my problem. This was several days ago....he stated that someone would be out on saturday to take care of my problem. John also told me the the job would cost between $350 and $450 depending upon what needed to be done. Paul arrived saturday morning bright and early and got to work. Had no trouble finding the cesspool cover and unearthing it. He put the sod and dirt on a canvas on the lawn which I greatly appreciated. He pumped the pool and had me flush my toilets, run my shower and sink to clear the lines which were backing up due to the full pool. He dredged the bottom of the pool. Price was within reason job done.

They got an emergency call from us and came out quickly as I expected. They cleaned up and clean off the dirt. They roto rootered the yard to the start of the line and found the problem and fix the problem. Very professional men and also put the yard back in tact. Very polite as well.

My call was promptly returned and an appt was set up at the earliest possible time. The service was both excellent and reasonablein price. I had several questions, which were professionally answered by Paul, the technician assigned to the job, following a thorough evaluation of the cesspool as well as my water usage requirements. I am more than pleased with the service, and willplan to utilize this company in the future. Thank you, Angie, for helping me to find this Company!!

John, the owner, came to my house as soon as I called. He surveyed the problem and gave me several options with their estimated cost. There was no pressure and I liked that. The next day I called John with the option I selected and scheduled a starting date. John and his crew arrived when they said they would. They had all the equipment nessessary to do the entire job correctly. The crew worked extremely hard to prevent disturbing or damaging any of my trees and shrubs which wasn' easy. John, Paul and Frank were courteous, professional and efficient. The job was completed in one day and when it was done, my front yard was graded and any plant that required moving was replanted. The price I paid was exactly as estimated - no ands, ifs or buts. I would highly recommend Priority to anyone with cesspool problems.

John could not have been easier to work with. Took the time to explain my entire septic system and explained every step of the work to be performed in detail. Answered all of our questions completely and made sure we understood. Came over for the estimate when he said he would and his team performed all of the work in one day and exactly to his and our specifications. Very reasonable price for the amount of work done. Only problem was that while the work was performed, the underground electrical connection from my home to my garage was damaged. The pipe containing the wires was broken and I had to have an electrician come to repair the pipe and reestablish the connection to the garage. The invoice specifically states they are not responsible for this damage so I did not pursue it with John. Overall a great job done at a reasonable price. Just wish they were a bit more careful with their digging......

You guys are awesome! I called John at 9am this morning as when I woke up we had cesspool issues. John got some info from me and said he should be able to have a truck to me by noon. Based on his great reviews on A-list, I was just hoping to not get ripped off. The service was perfect. Paul called me at 10:45am saying he will be here by 11am. GREAT. When he got here at 11am, I just knew he was going to do a good job. What I liked most about Paul was that he explained to me what the possible problems could be. He also did this in a language I could understand! He spent about 2 hours with me and made sure everything was perfect before he left. Standard rules-go easy on all water for 48 hours. He also asked me if I had any leaky toilets in the house and it just so happens I did. He said that was one of the main reasons the pools were overflowing. Get the toilet fixed and I will get a lot more time between drainings. How is that for honesty! John- You need to give Paul a BIG RAISE!

John was one of the cheapest for the job.... also he was quick and did an excellent job id hiring him again in a heartbeat.... u guys are aces in my book

These guys were amazing! Very professional, courteous, and hard working guys that did a phenomenal job. They called when they said they would, arrived when they said they would and explained everything that they were doing throughout the day. They also honored the Angie's List discount without us having to even ask. We spoke to John, the owner of the company, and told him we thought we might need a pump out. He had Paul over to us first thing the following morning to check things out. We have not had the house very long and weren't sure where the main pool was but it didn't take Paul long to find it. He dug a little, got the lid open and we could immediately see that a pump out was needed. We could also see that the pool was as ancient as we had feared and we knew we would need a new one, which Paul recommended right away as it was not safe at this point. We asked Paul to take a look at the cesspool serving an apartment attached to the house just to make sure that one was ok...well, it was by far in worse shape than the main and the poor guy looked pretty nervous after taking a look. We also asked if we could have a separate drywell added for the washer and new plumbing. Paul got us an immediate estimate from John, set us up for the next day and then walked us through the entire process. We really feel that these guys just went above and beyond throughout the entire job. We had a tricky entry point into the backyard that did not allow much room for the bulldozer so the brand new fence was carefully taken down and put aside and the temporary deck/stairway was slightly taken apart. At the end of the day, after leveling, raking and cleaning the yard these guys went ahead and put our fence and our little deck back in place! That was completely unexpected and greatly appreciated. I think Paul actually made the deck stronger than it was before. John and Paul gave us numerous tips on what the heck to do with the enormous dirt pile that is now our yard and even suggested that we let them come back in a couple of days to put the fence back so that we could get a load of top soil through easily. There was no way we were going to make these guys come back but the offer was ridiculously kind and just shows how much they care. John worked the bulldozer, Paul did the plumbing and Frank was the runner. A great team that we would call in an instant again - wish they did other work that we could call them for because I don't think we'll be needing them for our cesspools for a very long time. We highly recommend Priority Cesspool and truly appreciate the excellent job they did for us. Thanks again, guys!

Priority had come twice before to pump out our old cesspool. It appeared that it was the only cesspool on the property, but that was because the company that came 20 - 30 years ago did things terribly. They left the original cesspool and overflow and just added another overflow. They failed to fill in the original overflow and did not connect things properly. Anyway, the piping and everything was a mess. Priority had to dig up the whole lawn, fill in the original cesspool and original overflow (since they were the type that could collapse) put in a new main line, put in a new main cesspool and connect it to the overflow correctly. The original estimate was for $1900 (discounted because John felt bad that we needed the cesspool pumped twice) to add an overflow tank. All the extra work was discovered to be necessary when John started digging where he was going to put the overflow but discovered the original overflow! He only charged an additional $700 for the extra work of filing in the original and its overflow, replacing the main line and correctly connecting the new pool to the overflow. Everything was done professionally and I was consulted every step along the way as more and more surprises were unearthed. I would not hesitate to use Priority again and highly recommend them as they were prompt, reliable, reasonably priced and professional.

The owner, John, came overto give me an estimate. He explained all things that should be considered, what has to been done and how his team will go about it. He came over personally with his team and did exactly what he said was going to be done. The only surprise was there was none. They came when they said they would and the job was done in one day. My mother had come over my house while this was being done so that the dogs could be let out. she was so impress by the professionalism and caring of my property by the team that she actually went out and stopped the back-hoe so she could tell them. I would not hesistate to use them again and I thank them for turning an aggrevating situation into a " I don't know why I was so aggrevated, it was easy and quick to resolve."

I called on an afternoon and they called back that evening and were at the house the next morning.The technician, Paul, located he cesspool overflow (I had a general idea of where it was but not the exact location), explained the available options thoroughly and performed the service. Paul was very courteous and professional throughout. I highly recommend Priority Cesspool and plan on using them again myself in the future.

Paul and his"new" co-worker were very professional. They explained the issues with the cesspools as well as the best solution. A simple pumping, aeration and chemical treatment took care of the proble. Had the service performed a week ago with no problems since. The price was in-line and the service was on-time. Will use again.

When I called Priority a real person answered, not a machine. I explained what I wanted and he gave me an estimate. Even asked if AM or PM was better for me. A half hour before arriving I received a call as was promised. The technician (Paul) was fantastic. He removed the cover to the Septic Tank to inspect it. Not wanting to possibly damage my cobblestones he led his hose over a hundred feet from the street. No other company ever did that! I asked if he was going to remove all the liquid as other companies had done, and he said no, just the solids. Other companies completely drained the tank and a cesspool. Paul explained that unless there is a noticable problem, it's a waste of money to just remove ground water. ( I live near the water ) Paul was friendly, courteous, and explained the procedure each step of the way. Even made an extra effort to replace the tank cover so it sat better than it had been before he arrived. When he left you could never tell he was there. The estimate was right on. What I liked is that he didn't try to talk me into a lot of work that was not needed as some companies do. I am extremely satisfied with Priority, and would not hesitate in haveing them do future work for me.

John and his helper Frank were punctual and professional. John carefully analyzed our original cesspools, taking the time to visually inspect them. When it became clear that my original cesspools needed to be replaced, John provided a firm, detailed cost estimate for two new cesspools (plus a new main line) and quickly booked our job. John and his assistant arrived timely and performed all work in one (long) day. My property was left in excellent condition overall, with only the minimum footprint of disturbed ground for the two installed cesspools and mainline. The old cesspools were properly filled and made safe as well. I have the utmost confidence in the work performed, and highly recommend Priority Cesspool.

Last night, I heard water leaking into my basement. This afternoon, when I got home, I looked at the line coming out of the back of my house, and it was clogged. I call Priority Cesspool when I got home from work, and they sent Paul right over. He is absolutely excellent!! He went to work right away to alleviate the problem. He opened the cesspool, cleaned it out, and put in acid. Then, Paul snaked out the main line into my home, making sure that everything worked properly. I am a single woman who lives alone. I was treated with courtesy and respect, and I am extremely satisfied with the treatment that I received!! I am seriously considering additional work which will require the assistance of this company.

As I said above, John came within 2 hours of my call and had all the equipment needed. They were thorough, professional, knew exactly what they were doing, and were able to help us solve what is apparently a very difficult job. Thank god for them! John was also able to explain to us that our cesspool was very very old and what needed to be done to replace it. While we weren't happy to hear that, it was clear that he was very knowledgeable, had a lot of experience, and was fair and professional in his assessment, work and cost. We'd absolutely use them again and strongly recommend them to others!

I am working on an estate and had no idea about the viability of the septic system. John was able to schedule Paul to stop by with short notice. I needed an assessment on the functionality of my 37 year old septic system. Paul was very professional and answered all my questions. He was able locate the existing original system -with some serious digging. Paul was able to demonstrate that the septic had collapsed. Paul then opened the clean out plug with some difficulty -probably the first time its been opened since it was installed. He showed how no waste was flowing through -proving that the system had failed and suggested several options to solve my septic issues.

When I called John, he was able to schedule a prompt meeting for the estimate, which he arrived to on time. He was knowledable, and I felt very comfortable asking him questions about what was to be a VERY big job. He needed to contact the Dept. of Health to clarify something on the plans before he could give me the estimate, but within a day the paperwork was in the mail to me. Compared to the other estimates we got, his was the best, and when I called him to schedule a date to begin work, it was within two days. He and his crew (consisting of John's son Rob and a very personable man named Paul) arrived promptly each day, worked dilligently, were friendly and professional, and any time I wanted to ask about what was going on, they were very helpful. John handled the backhoe with surgical precision. The job DID take a day longer than expected; it was supposed to be two days, but took three due to the Health Dept. not being able to send an inspector out until the third day. Whenever a small detour from the plans was needed (as happens when paper plans meet the real world), John explained it thoroughly, including WHY it was needed, and WHAT he was doing. He was adamant about making sure measurements were accurate, and paid attention to detail throughout the process. Though I am no expert on the installation of septic systems, I feel completely confident in his work. Though my backyard is now mostly a field of dirt (it really was a BIG project), it was left clean and level. Once I get some grass seed down, I think it will be better than it was before. It is evident that John cares about providing quality work and dealing with customers honestly. Quality work and quality people are a combination not always easy to come by when looking for professionals to do work around your home; but you will find it here. I would highly recommend Priority Cesspool to anyone.
