Sunset sold us on the quality of their product (Owens Corning shingles)and the professionalism of their contract. Getting info about roofing insurance was interesting to learn. The work was done very efficiently with a large crew and clean up was thorough.

The foreman (Paul) and I had to keep an eye on the sub-contracted crew to make sure they didn't take shortcuts. But the foreman was excellent - and the crew worked hard otherwise. Work was well done. Work prep and cleanup of old roof materials was excellent. Pre-sale and post-work interaction with Roman an Melissa was professional and resposive.

Roman originally quoted the job and was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. A skylight was supposed to be replaced, but the wrong item was ordered. The correct skylight was installed a few weeks later at our convenience. After work was completed, we discovered a broken window. Roman replaced the broken glass and never asked for payment until everything was completed to our satisfaction. This was a big, messy job, but Sunset made it as easy as possible for us. I felt that they were very concerned about our satisfaction.

I dealt with Roman thru Sunset and have to say what a great job he and his crew did. We met approximately 3 weeks before the job during which Roman went thru the entire job, what materials would be used, and offered choices and alternatives available. His crew showed up at 8 am as promised and worked thru the day with barely a lunch break. Not only was the job completed timely and professionally, but they spent an additional half hour on clean-up to ensure nothing was left behind. Great job but this group and I would highly recommend the company for any of your roofing needs.

They Started work on the house and within 10 minutes, my girlfriend went outside and told them to stop what they were doing immediately as this was not approved by the insurance adjuster yet. (Manager on the phone lied and said they were out there for 3 hours when she came out). They laughed at her and continued to work on the roof while arguing on the roof being extremely unprofessional towards her. I called Sunset and they apologized for being rude to my girlfriend and said they would take out the new shingles they had put in and put a tarp up at no charge. (secretary) I called Sunset and complained that the roofers were still continuing their job of installing the roof and not stopping. Sunset apologized again and told me they would contact the manager to have them stop the job. I called Sunset yet again and told them that they haven't taken the shingles off as requested by the homeowner since this work was NOT approved to start on the day of. Sunset removed the shingles while arguing on the roof and did not put a tarp up telling my girlfriend that they were fired and didn't need to do anything for her (being extremely rude yet again). I called Sunset again and spoke with the manager after being put on hold. He too was extremely rude and unprofessional. He told me that his workers weren't being rude (lying) and that he had approval to do the job (which he didn't, lying again, there was NO time & date set up or approval to come out that day). He ended the call threatening me with a bill & lawyer fees in the mail acting extremely hostile. Such an awful experience with Sunset Maintenance, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Very efficient and tidy. Caused some damage in the attic which was repaired at my convenience. Roman delivered on all promises.

I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service I received from Sunset Maintenance. Roman was great to work with - very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the steps that go into a roofing job. Sunset Maintenance completed a complete tear off of my house and garage within a day and a half. The foreman and roofers were professional and courteous. Awesome job cleaning up afterwards. I would recommend Sunset Maintenance to my friends and family.

These guys are very thorough. The inspection and follow up report were very detailed and any of the unknowns (plywood) were explained. The work happened on the timeline we discussed and although we have not had much rain since, the roof has performed well so far. I expect that Sunset would be responsive to any issues I may have once we do get more rain and snow.

It has been about a month since Sunset Maintenance installed our new roof. Roman was our first contact and stayed with us until we were satisfied in every aspect. He started by making a more thorough inspection of all aspects of our roof than any other bidder. (We had 7 companies come by before making our decision.) Roman then explained any questionable/problematic area and the recommended remedy. He showed us ventilation solutions that the others (those who bothered to check) did not seem to know about. The roof was installed quickly and professionally. There were a few minor problems, but Roman had the back-up crew here promptly to fix each one to our satisfaction.

It went fine. Cleaned up real well when finished.

They completed the job on time and with care.? The guys on the roofing crew were real experts and did a marvelous job in only four days!? They were all very careful to protect the extensive garden plants and shrubs around the house and did a thorough cleanup of the property when finished.? They responded quickly to questions/issues we had and went out of their way to satisfy our needs and concerns. We highly recommend Sunset for anyone needing a roofing contractor that can be relied on to do a professional, quick and efficient renovation.

Sunset Maintenance did a great job. Roman was fantastic to work with. We had one issue that was resolved quickly and professionally. They originally thought the job would take one day but it took two and they showed up bright and early Saturday to finish the job. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

These guys were on the job from the minute they got here until they completed the entire job about 12 hours later. The quality of the job was outstanding, and the customer relationship was second to none that I have ever experienced. Terrific job by a terrific company.

The job was professionally done in one day and the cleanup was impeccable.

Arrived early 7:45 am, got on the job immediately. They finished the roof by 4:00pm and cleaned up my property and both my neighbors properties spotless. I would highly recommend them.

I think they did a fairly good job. The price was quite reasonable. The deck is now smooth and the paint is even and looks good. I think Mr. Beechner of Sunset Construction was a good worker and did a fantastic job.

I was very pleased with Sunset Construction. Among the other estimates we received, theirs was the most competitive, & the salesperson who helped coordinate the project was very friendly & professional. Everything went smoothly & the roof turned out well.

Sunset Construction was very quick and professional. They arrived on time every day and they cleaned up every day. I found them to be very neat and clean. The crew was quiet and polite, and worked hard.
