did a complete tear off and re-roof in 1.5 days. Were very professional, hard working. no radio or music very little conversation, were very polite. Did a very good clean up.

The man who came, Rowan, was very nice. He look over spots I thought were leaking and he couldn't find anything. We signed a contract and within a little over a week, men came down and fix what I needed. (New pipe boots, missing shingles, checked for leaks). I'm going to paint over the leak spots on the ceiling, so we'll see if everything is ok! I do appreciate that they followed-thru and fixed my roof promptly. I'm not sure on roof prices but folks I talked to said it was fair if all the work was done. I'm just so glad my roof is fixed and I will call them again if I find anything or we have another major wind storm and I have damage.

A couple months ago we had a wind storm that had left my roof in disrepair. I reached out to a couple of roofers immediately following the storm and the quickest to the scene was Sunset Roofing (Roman), so they tarped it up within a day of the damage being done. As I went through the process of making an insurance claim, and waiting for the adjuster, Roman was easy to reach and was willing to come out to ensure the insurance company was fair in their assessment. Sure enough they agreed to replace my roof, and Roman was immediately there to ensure that I wasn't paying any more than I needed to. Initially, I was told it would be 4-6 weeks before they could get to my roof due to the demanding schedule after the storm, but Roman was able to fit me in in 3 weeks time. The guys showed up at 7am and left by 6pm. That was a full tear off of a large roof and complete replacement in 11 hours. When I got home there was barely a trace of them, and I had a brand new roof. I am very pleased, both with the professionalism and efficiency, of Sunset Roofing. I will definitely call on them again were the need to arise.

After some damage to my roof following a wind storm, I found Sunset Roofing online. With lots of positive reviews and a BBB A+ rating, I figured it was worth giving them a try. Best move I could’ve made. A representative came to meet with me within a few days of my first call and could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful throughout the entire process, including helping me work with my insurance company. The job was done well and quickly and the workers left my house just as tidy as they found it. Very happy with my decision to use Sunset Roofing!

After doing extensive investigation to find a company to do a complete tear off, I settled on Sunset Roofing. From the first meeting with Roman, the estimator, to the final detail with Sam, the foreman on the job, I was treated with courtesy and respect. Because I had done my research, and because the job involved some issues of long standing concern, I had many questions. Roman came over a couple of times to make sure to explain how the OC materials would solve the issues I raised. He surprised me when he told me it would only require one day to do a complete tear off and new roof, but he was almost right on. Because of some complications, it took a day and a half. Everyone I share this with is amazed, but this was possible because Sunset provided seven crew members to do the job on day one and five people to finish up, on day two. The crew was very thorough and professional. Sam, the foreman was so thorough and easy to work with. As the job progressed , he made sure any little glitch was dealt with and completed. They covered up the bushes, and made sure that all the scraps from the tear off were picked up. We have had many compliments on the job they did, and the color of our new roof. We got three new skylights and fee the Owens Corning system will give us many years of worry free protection. I would gladly recommend Sunset Roofing to anyone who is looking to put on a new roof.

Sunset replaced my roof in one day! I was amazed. I got three other quotes and Roman was the only one who got on the roof AND looked in the attic at the underside. Roman helped me get over $5,000 from my insurance company due to wind damage. The crew damaged one screen but Roman had it fixed and back the next day.

Sunset Roofing is an amazing company. If you need roof work done this is the company you want. Not only do they have excellent prices they have excellent work ethic and quality. I had a concrete tile roof that was in bad shape. The roof was a 100 years old and needed replacement. Roman came to the house and did the estimate. Not only did he give me a well priced bid but I was treated like a human being. It was so nice to not be talked down to or dismissed. This was a big job and not a fast tear off. My questions were answered. The work site was cleaned every day. The workers were polite and efficient. My roof looks amazing. I was kept informed as the work was done. When they got the old flashing off the back chimney they found that the entire base was nothing but dust held together with mortar. Roman had the name of a reliable mason that gave me a great price with no notice. The work was done within days and the roof work was finished quickly. As long as I live in the Rochester area I will use Sunset Roofing. Oh and all of this was done Thanksgiving week!

Terrific. The quality of the work is excellent and issues with the old roof were thoroughly explained. Danny and Roman were meticulous in their work and looked after every detail including cleaning any debris out of the gutters and repairing flashings on our chimneys even though that was not requested in the contract.

We are very satisfied with our experience. The estimator climbed up onto the roof to measure and checked in the crawl space for what the underlayment was. He had several choices of roofing shingle samples and explained why he preferred one over the others. He showed us the choices on his iPad and delivered the estimate by E-mail and it was several thousand less than the other estimates. An addition to the work (light tubes) was incorporated and the price quoted immediately. The work was done as scheduled and only extended when a rotting corner was discovered on the porch. The person overseeing (and doing some of) the work was excellent. Clean up was thorough and altogether I cannot think of a single thing the company could have done better.

We hired Sunset Roofing to replace our roof. Roman was very professional who went above and beyond my expectations of any roofing estimator in Rochester. He assisted us with an insurance claim while no other roofing estimator even offered. The crew was professional, kind, courteous, and cleaned the property better than it was before the job. Sunset Roofing is the "honest" roofing company in Rochester along with giving us a fair price. I highly recommend calling Sunset because you can deal with confidence with this roofing company!

Roman was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough with our estimate. He was always prompt with correspondence, and the work Sunset Roofing did was exceptional. We had our house roof done (Ranch style, 1 floor, only took about half a day!) as well as the roof on our shed. Our shed had a hole in the roof, which ended up needing a complete roof repair, which they accommodated immediately at a very reasonable price. Sunset Roofing uses the best materials at a comparable price, would highly recommend! Shoutout to David and the guys who stayed late to finish the shed! We looked at reviews online Sunset's were excellent so we decided to get an estimate The estimate was inline with another estimate that we had received from another contractor. The materials that Roman included in his quote were superior to the other estimate and the price was very competitive- better quality at a similar price was a no-brainer. Roman talked with us about the insurance quote and with some additional information from Roman we were able to go back to the insurance company and get more covered than what they originally estimated. Roman was very open and honest throughout the process and a true professional. The work was done expertly and the roof is better than the original. They also did an excellent job with clean up - everything was picked up and in the same condition as when they started. I would highly recommend Sunset and Roman anytime!

Fantastic. Roman was professional from the start and had his focus on delivering the best quality materials and workmanship for the best price. The crew was efficient and conscientious of their work and did an outstanding job. They did a complete tear off and install within half a day and when they left you would never know they were there. The entire team made it a point to be sure the work was done above and beyond expectations, everything was cleaned up and put back in place, and I am very happy with the overall job.

He came early and gave a great presentation. He was very nice, but the price was higher than I can afford. He was very patient and answered all of our questions.

Sunset performed all of the work that was detailed in the proposal with excellent workmanship. They finished the work in 2 days and were very receptive of all of my questions and concerns. They added a vent for our bathroom exhaust fan with no additional charge. The foreman of the work crew was very polite and easy to talk to when we needed to answer questions he had about the roof. The work was done quickly with a large work crew. They were careful not to damage anything around the work area and they cleaned up everything when the work was done. I was very happy with the work and the new roof looks great.

The workers completed the entire job in one day. They were very industrious and did a very good job cleaning up. Specialized workers came to roof the flat area and used industrial grade material. They were the only company out of 10 that offered this option. Our satisfaction was their priority. We would highly recommend them.

Outstanding from beginning to end. Roman came to give us an estimate a few days after we called and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He was very knowledgeable on all aspects of roofing, and answered all of the questions that we had. The summer has been really rainy. Around the time that the roof was to be installed, Roman called us to ask if we would be willing to have the work done on the 4th of July, since perfect weather was expected for that day. That was fine with us, and the crew arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. to get started. Our plants were all protected with landscaping fabric before the work was started. The crew worked hard all day, and finished the work and cleanup by about 6 p.m. The roof looks great, and we are very happy with it. Everybody at Sunset Maintenance has been wonderful to work with.
