I had posted that I had a severe leak and of all the quotes I requested, Sunset was the only one who actually had a tarp with them. I was so impressed! I hired them right then and there. They helped me through my insurance claim (wind damage) and showed up to make sure the insurance adjuster covered the entire roof, which they did! Even though the insurance check was still going through the bank, they came and replaced my roof in one day. It's beautiful!! They didn't hound me for the money understanding how insurance works, they were very patient. I would definitely recommend them! They made the whole experience easy and worry free. Can't ask for more than that.

Excellent. Sunset Roofing did a thorough professional job on our roof replacement. Roman was easy to work with and explained the work to be done and the benefits of each part of the job. Tear off of 2 layers and complete replacement was done in 1 day including clean-up. No mess. Foundation plantings and gardens undamaged. We were very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend them.

Had my roof replaced by Sunset recently. Choose them based on all the positive reviews. I have had a leaky stone chimney on my home for the last 30 years that no one has been able to resolve. Lots of excuses but never a resolution.Sunset replaced my roof and for the first time since I've lived here no leaks! Done in a day and done right! If your looking for a company that will stand behind what they do (and you should be!) and be there from start to finish until you're completely satisfied Sunset Roofing is the only choice!

It was a most pleasant experience having our home's roofing replaced by Sunset Roofing. To begin, I do not "price shop" for such major items. This is my home and I have to be sure I am getting what I want and need. I searched the internet an Sunset met my requirements. Roman came to the house three times before I had the roof replacement I was interested in purchasing. The roof replacement was accomplished in a day and the property was clean when the job was done. Natural cedar siding is on the house. Flashing requires removing the siding and replacing it. The siding had been painted recently, Roman went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the appearance of the siding. Sunset Roofing does a good job an I would recommend it to anyone. Sunset was quick to respond to my request for a bid and schedule a time to meet. I was very impressed with Roman who arrived on time to deliver the estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He inspected my roof and took his time to explain what needed to be done and what I could expect. He was open to negotiating the cost to my satisfaction. He also returned to be here when the insurance adjuster inspected the damage from the February wind storm. The job was scheduled promptly and his team arrived right on time and did their job with minimal disruption to me and the neighbors. They were neat and organized and meticulous in removing the debris and cleaning my driveway and yard. He said it would be a one day job and they finished the job in a day. I am extremely satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I left a message via Angie's List. I got a response very quickly. After talking by phone, the gentleman came to give me an estimate and repaired the damage on the spot. Very pleasant experience. Prompt and professional.

I really appreciated the professionalism of Roman, who came out to review the problem with my roof. He opened my eyes to the issue I was having in my family room. He ended up doing a roof tear off on a section of my roof, replacing a skylight and then coordinated services with another company (Goodale Spray Foam) who sprayed closed cell foam insulation into my ceiling. I originally called him for help with a leaky skylight and he ended up helping me with a heating problem in my family room that existed since the 1980s. I could not be more pleased with their service!!!

Roman came out and evaluated my roof. He was very detailed and fair. He got his crew out as soon as possible. They were all very professional. They did my whole roof in two and a half days. Tear-off and all. Roman was very easy to get ahold of whenever I needed him and he was very responsive. The roof looks great and I'm very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Roman and sunset roofing.

We learned that we had an issue with a leak in our roof. After using a different contractor that did work on the wrong house we found Sunset Roofing. Sunset was quick to make an appointment that was convenient for me. Roman, arrived on time and quickly determined that we would be able to make an insurance claim. After contacting my insurance company, Roman came back out, to the correct house, on short notice to help with estimate. He then got us on the schedule as soon as possible. The Sunset Roofing crew showed up were friendly, worked fast, cleaned thoroughly and now, after 2 years, my roof is not leaking. I am very happy with the service that I received. I would highly recommend them for roofing needs.

We were very very happy with Roman and his workers, they did a tear off and replace the roof in a few days, did a really good clean up job, a few small gutters were dented from the ladders and Roman had them replaced with no problem or cost to us. I found them here on Angie's list and so glad we did. Best price and job out there. We have a really big home with steep slopes and they did great

My wife and I could not be happier with the job Sunset Roofing did for us. The guys on the job were professional and curtious. Roman was there to answer any questions or concerns we had throughout the process.

I used Angie's list to get a list of roofers to do my job. I contacted Sunset Roofing by email and I received an email asking me to call to set up an appointment for a quote. I did so and the guy came out as scheduled and spent about an hour checking out the roof etc. He hand wrote a quote but did not sign the quote and rushed away. After getting all my quotes, I decided to give them the job and called the office and was told to email the signed quote to them. I was given an incorrect email address and after a week of hearing nothing called again only to discover they did not have it and I was given the right email address. I did explain that it was not signed by the originator (David). The secretary notified me that she had received it and then I never heard another word from the company about if or when they would be able to do the work. After a month, I was ready to cancel and sent an email to that effect when I received a call from Roman with an explanation of why it was taking so long. No explanation of why no one even let me know what kind of time frame I would experience. Almost 8 weeks later I got a call from Roman that they would be out in two days to do the work. That was good as I was going to call the whole job off. The workmen arrived at 8am and I showed them where the leaks were and they got to work. They appeared to be efficient and neat and got the job done. Now I only hope it will solve the problem. They got the job based on reviews not price. Due to the fact that the quote was unprofessional being hand written instead of being typed and emailed over so it was readily readable and the fact that after I signed it, I was never called or told what kind of time frame it would be, I cannot give them a top rating nor do I know if I would hire them again.

After researching other company’s to help with our roofing issues we came into contact with Roman our sales representative from Sunset Roofing. The experience was fantastic and ultimately the reason we went with them. Roman explained how everything worked from start to finish. He made appropriate recommendations based on budget and what we were looking for. The end result was an awesome looking roof with quick turnaround. The roof install was over in two days and they even came to finish on a weekend! I would highly recommend Sunset Roofing for any roofing needs. They were kind, courteous, and professional. More importantly is that that they didn’t push things on us that we didn’t need! 100% Satisfied!!!

My wife and I are very pleased with the roofing job that Sunset Roofing LLC completed for us on our home. All of the interactions we had with this company were courteous and highly professional. Roman was punctual and prepared for our estimate. We tend to do a great deal of research before we jump into any project, and with his extensive roofing experience, Roman was able to answer any questions that we had (roofing materials and techniques, warranty info, etc). The job was started on time, and took approximately 3 days to complete. Both Roman and Dave (the foreman) were easily accessible the entire time, and sustained great communication throughout the entire process. The crew worked expertly and efficiently, and was properly staffed to do the intended job (8-10 members). The space between homes in our neighborhood is fairly tight, and they did a great job protecting our house and containing the debris from the tear-off. Dave, along with each and every crew member, did a fantastic job going the extra mile to make sure that we were happy with the final product (including clean-up). We strongly recommend this company for any of your roofing needs!

Roman came over and inspected my roof and showed me where shabby work had been done where vents were on my roof. (I had just bought the house a few months earlier and there were a couple of leaks)The guys got there first thing in the morning and worked all day . They weren't quite done and returned the next morning which was a Saturday and finished in a few hours.When they were done they cleaned everything up. You couldn't tell they had been there.Everyone was friendly and professional. They explained what they were doing and answered all of my questions. It poured a couple of days later and no leaks.My roof looks better after the work they did and I now don't worry about leaks.

Sunset Roofing was SUPER EASY to work with! From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Roman was incredibly knowledgeable and everything was explained in a way we could understand it. He was also very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. The roofers were efficient. It rained halfway through the job and they stayed late to ensure there would be no leaks until they could finish. In addition to great quality, our roof looks great!

The whole process was stress free from start to finish. Roman from Sunset Roofing walked me through meeting with the Insurance Adjuster to the final inspection. He was able to get a whole new roof approved after it had gone through a bad windstorm this past March. Sunset is one of the ONLY Platinum Certifed Owens/Corning Roofers in the Rochester, NY area which was one of three deciding factor for me. I have recommended SUNSET to many of my neighbors in the Henrietta/Rochester area.
